"Go on. You have your orders, Philantus. The Plaza shall be the first to fall. It is the very heart of Void City, which has become the heart of Dimensional Island itself. Striking it now, while they are vulnerable, will make a devastating effect. Then, attacking the rest of the city while they are recovering from the crippling blow shall be far easier..." Cyclone explained as he shoo'd Philantus away with one of his mutated hands.
The chimera humanoid only risked hesitation for a moment longer before following his orders and stepping through the portal. When it had closed, and the Void Master found himself alone with Void again, he sighed. Sitting on his crazily decorated, elaborate throne, Cyclone rested his elbow on the arm of it and placed his head in his palm. He could feel the void shifting and churning, eager to be released from its compact prison and flow out among the Plaza's shops like a flood.
"Patience, old friend. Philantus should have no trouble with this first location. No one sees it coming... those foolish foreigners... So wrapped up in their greed that they'll die with it."

Deep within the Void, a gold-tinged portal opened up, and out stepped a man who most people would mistake as Gendo Ikari at first glance. He had that kind of hard-lined face that it would be hard to forget. He closed his eyes as he entered. In all of his years spent wandering the world and dimension, he had never attempted entering the Void. But he'd caught wind of a plan that just might end with the Island's destruction.
The man, Flamel, was thinking, concentrating, as he floated in the Void. He didn't open his eyes, if only because he was afraid of what he might see within. No, not afraid. Flamel didn't fear much, even now. He stopped fearing Death years ago. He was focusing on one thought. The End. It was entirely possible this man might aid with the coming end and rebirth of this world. They could be accomplices.
But Flamel would not be playing second fiddle.
With that thought, Flamel stopped floating, and felt his feet hit what felt like solid ground. It looked like he'd managed to get a hang of this place.
"...Well then. This is the Void. It seems rather empty," Flamel said. He finally opened his eyes. The ever changing and shifting colors were almost seizure-inducing. Well, it was a good thing he wasn't epileptic.

"It is only empty to those who do not understand it. Which is no surprise, seeing as you are a human. Filthy, greedy, narrow-minded beings who only think of themselves and forget so easily about their betters." Cyclone seemingly appeared out of nowhere, though it was highly possible that the colors had simply been so distracting to Flamel that he didn't notice him coming. His yellow eyes were narrowed with disgust and suspicion, for humans were the most loathsome of creatures in his slitted eyes.
In fact, he was quite close to asking Void to get rid of him; he didn't much care how, so long as he was gone. However, Cyclone knew that he must have come here for a reason, and to do so via portal took immense skill. It should be entertaining for a while, at least. "Why have you entered Void, human?" he hissed, obviously displeased.

Flamel didn't jump when Cyclone appeared, and instead slowly turned toward him. Flamel had one hand in his pocket as he spoke.
"Don't mistake me for a 'mere human.' I have lived for several lifetimes, and my abilities surpass those of most humans," Flamel said. He didn't even blink at Cyclone's appearance either. He was used to people who concealed their true appearance constantly. Flamel pulled the object he had been grasping in his pocket out and tossed it in the air a couple times. It was a small golden stone, one that radiated power.
"I have heard about plans to start a 'Rebirth' of sorts. I am the leader of a group that wishes to rejuvinate the world by rebirthing it. We attempted to once before by causing Ragnarok to begin prematurely, but mostly failed," Flamel said. "My name is Nicholas Flamel. I believe your name is Cyclone, correct?"

Cyclone's eyes only widened slightly as he took in this information, obviously seeing Flamel in a slightly better light. He moved to sit down, but instead of falling, his throne swirled up out of the warm darkness in time to catch him. One might say it was magic, but he knew it was simply Void keeping an eye on him. After all, Cyclone hadn't even considered sitting in a chair at all, let alone his throne. However, he appreciated the thought, and relaxed back into it with his distorted hands gripping the arms.
"I see. So then you only look human. Wise choice of words, Flamel." Moving his hands in front of him, he laced his curled fingers together in a meditative way. "Yes. I am Cyclone, better known as Void Master. I am indeed beginning the ancient prophecy, the Rebirth. Surely you know of it, seeing as you came all the way here?" Though, of course, Cyclone would be delighted to tell the tale again to a new face.

Flamel didn't blink as the throne rose out of the darkness. He'd seen weirder. An endless void taking care of some wackjob who considered himself its master was the least weird thing he'd seen.
"I have heard only bits and pieces of it, but those were enough to convince me to travel here. However, I would like hearing the tale from the mouth of the one intending to begin said prophecy," Flamel stated. It wasn't all flattery, but part of it was. Well, he did have a job to do, after all. He hadn't wanted to come here for kicks. He needed help causing a Rebirth, specifically a new method to do it. He wasn't sure working with Loki was the best plan there.

Cyclone nodded, delighted by the visitors he'd been receiving as of late; even if one did look human. Not that he had a problem with being alone; he just found it interesting to have someone else to talk to for the first time in who-knows-how-long.
"Very well. The Rebirth is an ancient prophecy that was predicted many, many years ago. Back when Dimensional Island was young and pure, only populated by its humble natives. It was a time of peace and harmony, when the island's residents revered the void as God and worshipped it. They would even throw wondrous gifts into its depths. However, nothing lasts forever, and one fateful day it began. Portals, leading to other dimensions, began springing up everywhere on the island.
"Strange creatures came through these portals, and tainted the land with their impurity and evil. They brushed aside the natives and their beliefs, and Void sent the natives a vision. A vision of cleansing, of 'rebirth.' They wrote it down in every village, which were scattered across Dimensional Island. They also traveled around the island, doing as the void asked of them to prepare for this 'rebirth.' However, before the natives could begin the prophecy, they were wiped out by the invaders.
"The prophecy was forgotten- seeing as only the natives could read their language- and the void was marked a mere sea of sorts. For ages, the island has become more and more tainted as the number of foreigners increases each day; the pinnacle of their impurity being that dreaded 'Void City.' Named not in reverence to the void, but out of their own arrogance. However, the time has finally come for the prophecy to be realized. Void, my dear friend, has whispered to me its secrets and I have prepared as the natives had so many years ago.
"One by one, each location in Dimensional Island shall fall. Succumbing to the void; everything submerged, everyone sent to oblivion. And then, once the island has fully been cleansed, the void shall recede to reveal Dimensional Island in its purity once more. The natives shall be reborn anew, and peace and harmony shall reign again!
"This, Flamel, is the Rebirth."

"Interesting," Flamel said. He repocketed the stone he had been holding and crossed his arms. "Mr. Cyclone... or would you prefer 'Sir' Cyclone? In any case, this is a plan I am interested in supporting. Are you aware of this dimension's status as a lynchpin of sorts?
"It's simple really. This dimensional island, this dimension between dimensions, is the bond that holds countless others in place. Should something major happen to this island, the ripples will spread to other dimensions and cause the same thing to them. For example, the Fall that this dimension was set to undergo around Christmas would have caused the Falls of several other dimensions at the same time. Every single being who lived within those dimensions would have become completely apathetic to the world, and would have eventually died. Obviously, the Fall did not come, otherwise I would not be talking to you right now, but you get the basic concept.
"My plan is to cause a rebirth to all dimensions. Sentient beings have long since become corrupt. Especially those beings known as the Doppelgangers, who claim that they are not sentients and wish to wipe them all out using their abilities to masquerade as other sentients," Flamel gestured with his hands as he spoke. "Originally, my plan involved Ragnarok. But I have decided that causing Ragnarok is too unwieldy, and not only that, but I don't know if it's even possible on this island. The alternative of the Rebirth as spoken of in ancient lore upon this island makes an excellent alternative. Instead of countless amounts of destruction, everything is returned to where it once began. After this dimension's rebirth, all of the others shall return to Void and once cleansed, reborn just as this island will be. It would truely be a Rebirth of the entire multiverse."

"Just Cyclone, thank you. I have no title," Cyclone answered simply. "No, I am not. Do explain," he added in response to Flamel's question. He listened intently as the man spoke, speaking of his own plans and how Dimensional Island was connected to other dimensions. Every now and then, Cyclone's eyes would widen with some unknown emotion, or narrow in a similar manner. His curled fingers remained locked before him, unmoving aside from the rare tightened or slackened grip.
Similarly, Void continuously changed colors at certain points in the explanation, and would sometimes even change its texture. At one point it would feel normal, but at another it would suddenly feel dense, as if they were underwater. Finally, when Flamel had finished speaking, Void returned to blackness and the normal texture of air. Cyclone leaned back in his chair, yellow eyes closing as he rested his arms on the armrests.
"Sounds excellent. Void is quite eager about the idea. Perhaps cleansing the surrounding dimensions will help prevent the past from repeating itself. Yes, this will work wonderfully," he began, opening his eyes as he continued. "The Plaza has already succumbed to Void. Those who have become my allies, both directly and not, are currently fighting those who oppose us in the ITS. Unfortunately, even with reinforcements and rogues, they are outnumbered. Your help is just what we need, Flamel. You can fight for your cause, can't you?"

In response to that, Flamel pulled out the stone from his pocket again as well as a book. He opened the book, mumbled a few quick words, and pieces of Cyclone's throne removed themselves and swirled around the stone before forming into a sword. Flamel closed the book.
"I would not have lived as long as I have if I could not," Flamel stated. He reopened the book, mumbled a few more words, and the pieces that had formed into the sword detached from the stone and returned to Cyclone's throne. Flamel did not repocket the stone this time, nor did he close the book.
"The ITS, you said? It may take me a bit to gather my... 'group', since there's no other way to put it, but I will be there," Flamel said. The stone he was holding began to glow with the same gold energy as the portal Flamel had entered through had. "I believe this may be the beginning of a nice new partnership, Cyclone. Now, by your leave..."
Flamel bowed as a gold colored portal once again opened up behind him, and he stepped back into it, allowing the portal to swallow him completely, never lifting out of the bow as he did so. Oh yes. This fool Cyclone would be incredibly useful. Master of the Void he may be, but he did not understand Flamel's true intentions. Not that Flamel had told Cyclone his true intentions, after all. And Flamel being Flamel, Cyclone would be unable to tell that Flamel had been saying anything but the truth. Such were the advantages to having lived several lifetimes.
