The Giant's Lake, so appropriately named. It was BIG, and was honestly more like a small ocean than a large lake. It was... also the home of some very clean and refreshing water, or a swim... or cleaning oneself off after a fight and a trip through the jungle.
It also served as a nice home for aquatic creatures, especially large serpents.
Aries did not know what was beneath the surface as she ran into the clearing, slightly cut up from thorny plants, and sweaty from all the hard work needed to clear a path without resorting to burning the entire jungle down.
"Huff huff... This is the lake... Or did we somehow find an ocean...?"

Blade too then came out of the forest following Aries. His fur was ruffled a bit more and he was also cut in the slighest as he gave a few deep breaths.
"It.... looks more like an ocean really.... But still I think we can wash ourselves off there...!" Blade replied softly as he started to walk down to the ocean.
Never has he been fond of water, but hell would it be good now despite his type. He could feel the light breeze in his fur as he took stps into the slightly sinkig sand under his feet. He was looking rather forward to the water, to be more clean than the total mess he was at he moment.

With a quick breath to ready herself for the inevitable wet feeling, Aries slowly started to make her way down to the shore, where water met land. The sand sank a bit, even with her light weight, causing her to feel a bit nervous. It was colder here, which she wasn't too fond of.
With a quick yelp, Aries felt the fold water rush against her fur, soaking her paws and part of her legs. While it did feel good on her sore body, it didn't mean she'd suddenly be changing her opinion on water any time soon.
"It's cold... and yet kinda refreshing..."
Meanwhile, from the bushes, a small bird, a Spearow that was even smaller than the norm, with what appeared to be a Life Orb around its neck and bandaged talons, flew down from the trees, and seemed to perch in Blade's head fur, barely felt.
Under the water's surface, there was what appeared to be a long, and large silhouette that seemed to stand out against the water. It seemed to be swimming towards Aries and Blade.

Blade's feet leaped from the warm and sand and straight into the cold smooth water that splashed immediately on contact. It was a shocker at first, but he grew to it fast as he jumped into the water completely letting the grime wash off. Soon emerging with a great gasp he then shook his fur dry, but at the cost of that his fur and hair puffed out a bit. Around this time that bird may have perched without him knowing at all as the water made the hair droop a bit. Still nonetheless he was happy enough to take a bath.
"Gah, I sometimes hate my fur..." He muttered quietly as he tried to smooth his fur out a bit, feelign the waves rippling against him.
He dind't notices the unusual change in the strangth as that sillouhette neared him and Aries as he continues ot pull things out of his fur.

Feeling the water rush against her legs, Aries couldn't help but notice that it seemed a bit... uneven. Like that something below was moving the water... something big, powerful, or BOTH. She looked at Blade's head... And saw a little brown burn perched on it.
... Wait, she knew a little brown bird.
"Hey, Blade, I think that one of my friend has decided to make a home in your hair, and another friend has made his home underwater-"
At that moment, a giant white serpent rose out of the water, creating a giant splash with his rising.

Blade fidgeted suddenly when he heard about the nesting in his hair. mouth open ot speak, however-
SPLASH
Now, while holding his paw up he was drenched to the bone with water.
"Who, did th-AAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" Scythe then exclaimed backing off from the sight of the Albino Gyarados.
That was FREAKY looking, even for him.
Oh god, don't be another enemy...!
This thought in mind, it almost like he ignored Aries' statement earlier through simply fear and his crazy imagination

Aries was now soaking and dripping wet, not exactly the type of conditions that she was fond of. She was currently trying to brush her wet hair out of her eyes to get a better look at the area, but for now, all she could see was dark brown-red.
"... Poseidon... Don't do that..."
Currently, the Spearow in Blade's hair was completely and utterly soaked, and looked rather annoyed. No wait, he was pretty pissed. "Hey, I was trying to rest, not get a shower!"
The albino Gyarados simply made a sweatdrop as he lowered his head down to the level of the three smaller Pokemon.
"Oh, it's just you, Aries... who's your friend?"
"NOT MY FRIEND!"

The dialogue he then heard from the duo of Pokemon. His body then loosened up and then he gave a deep sigh of relief.
This Gyarados was a friend afterall.
Thank Arceus, he'd hate to fight a type that is stronger and bigger than his own.
He didn't pay too much to the girl nearby, but more toward the towering hulk of a pokemon in front of him.
"Oh, it's just you, Aries... who's your friend?"
"NOT MY FRIEND!"
Blade jsut sweatdropped and looked over to Aries.
Then what WAS he to her?
Maybe it'sbecause she was stubborn, he shrugged.
"My... name's Blade..." He then replied softly with a nervous smile

Poseidon closed his eyes, not because he didn't want to look at them, but rather, to shield his eyes from the burning sunlight. "Ah, Blade. How did you run into Aries here? And yes, I am an albino, but I'd prefer if you didn't mention it."
The Spearow was now wringing out the water in his feathers, still on Blade's head. He was more likely than not soaking the poor guy, not that he cared. "The name's Hermes, and if you make one remark about my size, you won't be walking for a bit."
Aries shot Hermes a look. "Yeah... he does that."

Blade sweatdropped at the remarks the bird had made ot him, not exactly caring if he was making him even more soaked than he was already. He did in fact smell funky anyways.
"We.... met each other in the forest... ntohing special happened..." Blade muttered quietly as he then stooded up straight and then started to shake the water off his body, regardless of Hermes or not.
"Sorry... Hermes..." He then repleid somewhat quietly as he looked over at the bird.
He was awfully quiet now, it was probably due to more people who were strange and strangers to him.

In the shadows of the trees was another Pokemon, allied with the Vulpix, Spearow and Gyarados on the lake's shore. It was really dark blue and and yellow, but it appeared as black and white under these lightning conditions. Around its neck was a red scarf, and you could see that is had a very muscular, wolf-like body. Right now, it was monitoring the orange and silver Pokemon, watching it with trained eyes. It was a Manectric, and it was in a way, that team's "guardian".
Because that's what Zeus' role on the team was.
"Well, that's a mighty fine Growlithe there... if he put on some muscle..." --
"So, any signs of anyone else you've seen?" Aries asked Poseidon and Hermes, looking for something she could use as a makeshift hair tie.
The serpent spoke. "Zeus is in the trees- don't ask me how he got up there-, but we don't know where Apollo, Hades and Carol ended up."

Blade blinked as his rather large ears twitched. He then turned his head round to look up into the trees while sniffing the air as the cold breeze decided to whoosh by carrying scents to go with it as well. Despite the heavy scents of the rather damp pokemon among him as well as his own scent he could make out a light scent of one that was not amongst the group in the water right now.
Sniff..... Sniff sniff
The scent in particular wasn't familiar by any means, and he concluded it was no one he knew at all. However his red eyes didn't fail him staring up into the loud rustling trees for something. The scent Directly flowed from that particular tree, but what kind of pokemon was it. He slowly squinted his eyes to see some kind of sillouhette, but couldn't directly identify the owner of it. However, as his eyes slowly concentrated and got used to the lighting under the tree he blinked to see a Manetric. Similiar to a Black and White tone coloration to the point where he was practicaly decieved into beleiving that was the true fur coloration of the creature.
"...A-Aries... There's a M-Manetric in the tree you know....?" Blade stuttered out softly to the Vulpix near him. He was terribly intimidated by the other pokemon hidden within the tree as he wasn't exactly concentrated on the others as of currently.
"P-please tell me he's your friend Zeus...." He then finished off in a rather nervous tone. Why were there so many intimidating pokemon runnin round this place? It was sort of freaky you know? He only shook in the slightest as he felt another wind fly past him sending chills up his spine due to the dampness of his own fur increasing the freezing cold he felt. However the sun was his only fr- What the hell was he talking about? He was currently intimidated by the pokemon in the trees, and rather easy to lose track of thoughts apparently.

Aries, Hermes and Poseidon all suddenly turned to face the direction of the trees, the tiny bird perching atop one of the white serpent's giant teeth. They seemed to be checking for any signs of the Manectric that was their teammate, though the Gyarados was more listening than looking.
Hermes then spoke up, after noting the movements through the trees.
"Yep, that's definitely Zeus."
At the sound of his name, the black and white, muscular Manectric emerged from the brush. His deep brown eyes were focused on Blade, not sure what to think of the newcomer.
"Well, who might you be?"

Blade was rather startled by sudden appearance of the buff Manetric from the bushes with loud rustling to back up why he was frightened. "I......I....I'm B-Blade...!...Blade Bloodwrath..." This was spoken in a soft hush voice that was only barely audible at all to those around him. He was heavily intimidated by the Manetric by looks and feel. Zeus had a heavy feel of Blade's own father by his tone of voice and how he stood. Blade quite literally unsure if he felt safe or not at all. But he sorta did.

Suddenly, Zeus started to sniff Blade, what was likely a bad move on his behalf, not knowing that someone else had done the same thing to him earlier in the rainforest. Zeus was probably not aware that he was more likely than not scaring the poor guy to death, as Aries watched with a slightly worried look.
She then spoke up.
"Zeus, you shouldn't do that..."
When the Manectric finishes his sniffing, instead of growling, gave the Growlithe a calm smile, quite opposite look to the one the previous sniffer had given him.
"Well, you don't smell like a bad guy at all, Blade Bloodwrath."
