King was pretty pissed. Edd was too damn idealistic for him. Some of the things he wanted were just too damn unrealistic. He couldn't turn everyone good, nor should he aim too, no matter how much he wanted to. Seven should've been let go, King thought, but Edd was adament in forcing everyone to accept the fact that he was going to help Seven learn how to cope in the Dimensional Isles, even though the boy obviously wanted to go home. Would you let him go back home and learn more lies? I want to teach him the truth... the truth is that you're too damn good for your own good, Edd. Someone's got to help you with that!
And then Felix moved. King's eyes widened as Felix managed to pick himself up. It wasn't one of those exorcist moments, where the body would raise itsself on its own in a supernatural manner. Felix literally had to push himself up from the ground as the bullet fell out of his skull, the skin patching itsself up, healing the wound that was caused to him. Trevor's jaw dropped. Masahiro looked stunned. Felix frowned as he finally stood. "I-It's ok Edward. I-I kinda expected this."
That timid tone... that shy stance... and immortality... the Pheonix Rune... "Do you recognize me?" Masahiro asked Felix.
Felix looked at Masahiro and it took him a minute before he spoke with a bit of regretful fear in his voice, regretful because Edd had told him how Masahiro had changed for the better. "M-M-Masahiro," he said.
He sounds afraid of me... the time Felix feared me was back then... during the time I had raped him in my stupidity and foolishness... This can't be right, Masahiro thought.
"What's going on?!" King sounded rather angry. "That was a perfect shot! You shouldn't even be standing right now!"
"Stand down King," Masahiro said simply. "Or will you let your rage blind you? Look at him. He's afraid. Act as big and boisterous all you want and say how weak he looks, but you and I both know damn well that the Felix we chased away doesn't show fear, even if he feels it. Use your head."
Like you were any better. Like any of us were any better. We all assumed it was the regular Felix, but how couldn't we with the pain of his betrayal still fresh in our minds? Did you do this just so you could have a reason to lecture us more on our flaws or what, Double D? That just seems rather cold to jump us with something like this out of nowhere, Trevor thought.

Kyle didn't rush over to pull Seven off of King when he threw himself at him. He wasn't sure if stopping Seven was a good idea or not. He didn't know what to think. He didn't even know what was going on. He took a step back as Edd admonished the rest of the group, and he looked like he was about to cry.
"I'm sorry, Double D, I don't know why I..."
Kyle's eyes widened as Felix just stood up again. Honestly, the guy looked pretty damn broken just by seeing him stand up. And the way Felix was talking was just... different. It wasn't like the Felix he knew. Kyle didn't buy the idea of a twin. Besides, Kyle had heard the stories. Felix's only brother was already dead...
"King, please be quiet..." Kyle whimpered. The poor guy looked like he was about to break just from seeing Felix here, alive, and being fully accepted by Edd. Who had rushed to defend him despite every horrible thing Felix had done to him. It wasn't just that. It was a growing anger that Kyle wanted to release on Felix, but Edd's admonishing words told him that this wasn't the Felix he knew, but oh god, he looked just like him before he'd left. Those black wings, that face, everything...

Elwood found himself as a bystander in all this, watching in disbelief as everything unfolded before him. Jesus, it was worse than when things got serious at Skylark Manor! Half the people in the room looked ready to throw down, and poor little Double D was caught in the middle of it, trying so hard to mediate the others and failing miserably, looking ready to break down himself...!
"...oh, for Christ's sake!" Elwood quickly had their attention as he abruptly stood, his crochet needles clenched tightly in his hand and looking much more dangerous. He wasn't even crossdressing today, so there was no laughing. "Look, I know I might be sounding like the devil's advocate here, but maybe Double D has a little bit more to say on the matter!? We SURE AS HELL aren't going to know why he brought Felix here if you don't even give him the chance to freaking say anything!!"
When things stopped, and all eyes landed on Double D, he should have been grateful for the chance, but he only felt their drilling gazes, slowly growing attitudes of confusion and hate brewing. Maybe... this hadn't been a good idea after all.
He kept his gaze down, hat falling into his eyes. His voice was terribly mousy, so much that they had to strain their ears to hear him. "...he... he won't hurt anyone... he can't... this Felix, he... his world was... destroyed... before he even had the chance to... to...!"

Seven had actually dropped his guard as Felix pulled himself to his feet. In fact he'd even taken a step back. His wings had dropped slightly in reaction to all this. When people were shot in the head, they weren't supposed to get back up. When people were shot in the head, their wounds were not supposed to heal. In a word, Seven looked terrified.
He was running through his options when Elwood shouted at the situation. He flinched and gave a sudden turn towards the man as he began to further lecture the group. He hadn't had any problems with letting Edd continue! He'd just been attacking the guy that had shot... the... winged guy. Seven thought about Crow. Was he related to her, then? I mean, they both had black wings...
The teenager was drawn out of his own thoughts by Edd's nearly broken voice. His eyes widened and he turned back towards the Angel of Light and his concealed eyes. What little readiness in his stance collapsed at the voice and posture and he looked to the side, the angle putting his eyes in the direction of Felix' feet. His words were muttered.
"He shot him... How was I supposed to react...?"

"Seven, you were not there, henceforth you would not understand why I shot him," King growled.
"King, it would be wise for you to shut up and..." Masahiro began.
"No, Masahiro, you shut up! All of you, listen to yourselves! This is the guy that hurt Double D, broke his damn heart into pieces, and now you're all talking about forgiving him?! He's a traitor, he doesn't deserve any forgiveness, and he shouldn't be given any! And if he is some alternate dimensional form of Felix from the past, then certainly he knows what he's going to become, so it doesn't change anything!" He looked at Felix. "If you know what you're apt to do, why haven't you done the sensible thing and killed yourself already?!"
"Oh fuck no, this is not happening," Trevor gasped as Masahiro drew his blade. "He did not just say that, this is... Ladies and gentlemen, we need a camera in here or something, this kind of shit would make millions on reality TV."
"You... little... shit," Masahiro breathed furiously.
"St-Stop it! Stop it, all of you!" Felix cried. "If me being here is causing so much inner turmoil, I'll just leave! You don't have to fight over me, I understand why you hate me, but please don't do this!"

Kyle continued to whimper as things escalated further. Every now and then he'd try to interject with something, but he'd draw back just as soon as he started to say something. But when King continued talking, on and on, Kyle's anger began to grow. His face was guilt-ridden, but his eyes showed a silent fury.
"King-- no, King, please stop... King..." Kyle continued to try to interject, but his words were broken and choked with tears, at least at first. "King, stop, please-- King... King... stop it... King. King. Listen-- Just stop..." The more he continued to try to plead for him to stop, the more angry Kyle started to sound. And then, as Felix began to cry out for them to all stop, Kyle's anger exploded.
"STOP IT!"
Everyone in the room would be able to sense as Kyle's aura just exploded out. Shadows began to dance across his body, and he actually looked not unlike when Oni was possessing him. He even looked demonic. There were burning red rings of light around his wrists and neck, and it could be assumed he had them around his ankles as well. His eyes had a frenzied look in them, and they seemed a brighter shade of green than usual. Dark energy seemed to burst off of Kyle's body like demented solar flares. Really, all he was missing were the horns and tail Oni manifested while in his form.
And without warning, Kyle rushed at King with a much faster speed than he had ever used. Shadowy claws formed around Kyle's hand, and he threw his hand forward, slashing King and knocking him to the ground. Kyle stood over King, slowly breathing, and still looking down at King with a frenzied, rageful, almost hungry look. All the while, Kyle's body itself seemed to almost be becoming shadow. It was almost like his skin was melting into it.
"This is how you repay Eddward," Kyle breathed. His voice lacked emotion. "I'm tired of it. I'm sick and tired of you all. Do us all a favor and just... die."
It was probably a good idea to stop him...

"JEsus...!" Elwood nearly fell over as Kyle went batshit insane with power seemingly out of NOwhere. Obviously, he kept well out of the way, and he was tempted to grab Seven by the shoulder and keep him held back too, buuuuut not with that sword pulled out. He liked his hand attached to his wrist, thank you very much.
Double D winced terribly and nearly crumpled to his feet. He had gotten well used to the dark power within Kyle; it was minimal enough not to cause any trouble. But this was such an overabundance the Angel of Light quickly had a migraine, clutching at his head.
And worse yet, Kyle was headed straight for King. His death as motivation.
No. No.
"Kyle! KYLE!!" he cried out, moving between him and the fallen King. "Stop!! Stop, please! D-don't make me have to force you into submission--!"

Seven didn't know what he was supposed to do here .Eddward really didn't want him to fight, but things were spiralling and fast. Now the person who Seven's less than normal ranking system put at worse than King had prepared his sword and looked ready to kill the other person he didn't like. Seven gave a worried look towards Edd and chose to let Masahiro kill King. If he succeeded, it would remove one tangle from the sitaution here. If not, no harm done... and then Kyle lost it.
The teenage angel's eyes widened as the spike in energy exploded out from Kyle. A sharp pain struck his temples and he collapsed back against the wall to his side at the assault of unexpected pain, further pain being added by the way his wings were forced down. This isn't to say that he sensed Kyle's burst of energy more than Edd, quite far from it. It was to say the "half-angel" had never felt this kind of energy before. At most he'd sensed something off about Kyle, but now the feelings were hammering into him like a cold headache combined with dagger stabs.
His sword clattered to the floor, the sound of heavy metal hitting the tatami flooring causing a sort of hollow "thunk". His knees were folded up a bit, and he seemed to only be standing for the wall.
"Make it stop!" Seven managed to shout.

King may've been a jerkass. None could deny that at this current moment. But King was still a human. And when you were facing down your imminent demise, you couldn't help but feel fear. Anyone would've been afraid. No one would've been able to deny that unless they were stupid, for it would be a lie. His body shook, trembled, as Kyle made to strike the deathblow and rid his godless, spiteful presence from the world. And who wouldn't be able to deny he deserved the cold feeling of his heart getting ripped from his chest?
Felix, however, watched the scene in horror. His body quivered just as much as King's. "This... shouldn't... be... happening... I... should've... just... died..." Gripping himself in horror, he couldn't hold himself back. "STOP IT! STOP IT, PLEASE!"

Kyle didn't hear any of the screams, the pleading for him to stop, any of it. All he could see and hear was King. All he needed to see and hear was King's dying body. And then he could kill that damn half-angel. Angels were scum, he'd kill them all. Only Double D was pure. Only Double D was a truly good person. He'd kill every one of them.
And yet, as he ran forward to give the death blow to King, that truly good person was the person he ended up hurting. He slashed across Double D's chest with another shadow causing another wide gash. His eyes widened, and he took a few steps back from shock. For the first time since he'd gone berserk, Kyle actually looked like he was comprehending what was going on. There was an expression that was both terrified and horrified on his face.
"I.... I....." Kyle put his hands on his head and gave a scream.
And just as if things couldn't get any worse, they did. The shadows that had been dancing across Kyle's body suddenly covered his entire form. The shadowy claws appeared to almost meld to his skin as the shadows covered his form, and he looked almost like he was going to fade away. Even when the shadows seemed to solidify, it continued to flare off of his back. To anyone who had seen Oni, this form would be frighteningly familiar. But there were differences. Kyle, if he could even be called that anymore, looked more unstable.
Kyle opened his mouth, and as he did, some of the darkness that formed up his face actually melted and dripped to the ground. He didn't notice, and instead let out a distorted, high pitched scream of pain.

Double D had braced himself, fully knowing Kyle had little control over himself, but the slash across his chest would hurt no matter what. "Hnrgh!!"
"D...D-Double D!!" Elwood cringed as the angel slumped forward, trembling heavily and looking ready to succumb to his injuries rather quickly. He was tempted to run right out of the room as Kyle went through his transformation; this kinda thing was WAY out of his league! But his feet were rooted to the ground.
However, this increasingly dangerous situation took an interesting turn when Double D's gaze shot back up, teeth gritted and eyes glowing hotly. He had revealed one of his glowing hands on his chest, slowly, agonizingly, healing his wound as he stumbled to his feet.
[glow=yellow,2,300]"Kyle... you're--ungh---letting it. Take over you,"[/glow] he managed to get out in his ethereal voice, though still strained, as he outreached his other hand in an offering. [glow=yellow,2,300]"Please...!"[/glow]

The pain had receded a bit when Kyle had tried to grab a hold of himself after hitting Edd. It didn't have much of a chance to be noticed by Seven when it spiked back up again due to the shadows seeming to take Kyle back over. He winced again at the next wave. All he knew at this point was that Kyle wasn't human. He only had a rudimentary knowledge of the divine and the infernal, but he somehow knew that there was something very dark...
demonic....
involved with Kyle right now. He attempted to move, removing his support from the wall and found himself sliding to the floor. His wings were pulled upward a bit and dragged down with him, causing more pain, but he fell into a sort of collapsed sit next to his sword. As if the situation wasn't bad enough, he began to blur... those who could sense it would realize that there seemed to be a sporadic sort of spit of spikes in light energy around him...
There was really no way to know this to most of the group, Seven's being wasn't made up of an angel from any of the current group's world's. Then again, there was a chance there were those with a rather extended knowledge of other worlds and would be able to make the proper logic jumps... in any case, Seven was beginning to be forcefully phased out of the current plane simply by the overpowering darkness. At the end of the day, he was a fairly weak "angel", after all... and the explosion of darkness was overwhelming him...
"Sto... it.... op!!! Seven manage to sputter out, his voice going in and out with his flickering presence on the material plane.

Kyle hated most of us because we didn't do anything to help him. But what could we do? Here it goes all over again. We're unable to help him. It's beyond our power. But it's not beyond Edd's. He'll save Kyle, but will Kyle blame us for not being able to act? Will Kyle look at us, the people who could not move to save him, and then blame us for his miseries? Masahiro grimaced. Damnit! If only I had a power more helpful then this accursed eye!
King, you brought this upon yourself. Trevor looked calm and collected. Kyle and Edd should not have to suffer for your attrocity. As much as it would hurt anyone, I do agree with Kyle. At this point, you've crossed the Moral Even Horizon. You ought to be put to death. He did not move to draw his sword on King though. He just stood there, no intention of killing in his mind. Then again, I won't end up a traitor myself. That'd be rather unfitting of a gentleman such as myself.

bastards
just want a peaceful life King Felix Seven Masahiro Crow Trevor Ed Eddy Raz kill kill them all together
I want to protect you [/b][/i] To those who could sense it, Kyle's emotions were frenzied and fluctuating. An animalistic desire to kill and a deep hatred seemed to be the only constant emotions. If anyone spoke, he did not hear them. If anyone attacked him, he did not feel it. their fault all their fault I have to make things right again for you Everything I have ever done was for you
once this is all over we'll be happy again we can go back to old times right double d?Kyle turned toward Felix. His mind could only pull up the hatred he felt toward the angel who had torn Double D's heart to pieces. The fact that this was not even the same Felix did not occur to him. He only stopped because he felt a strong, painful light, and he turned his head toward the source of it: Double D. When Kyle opened his mouth to speak, it came out as distorted as his thoughts. "--have to protect you--only way--this is--ight--on't interfere--can't--don't--hurt you"A bit more of the tarlike shadow splattered down from Kyle's body and onto the ground. It almost looked like Kyle was falling apart.

Elwood bit his lip; this was not good. This was NOT GOOD. At Seven's distorted cry, he turned down towards the half-angel, slowly fading away...! "G-geez! Seven! SEVEN! Pull yourself together!!"
Double D's glowing eyes widened at Kyle's refusal as he turned away. It wasn't the terrible distortion; he had felt that happening a while ago. He had heard words like that before... seen this type of behavior... and the last time they lost not just a companion over it, but an entire relationship.
No. The Angel of Light would not listen. He felt Kyle's thoughts, and for the first time in a long time he deemed such thoughts as royally infantile. Kyle knew better than this. He wasn't going to let harm come to Felix or Seven. And he certainly wasn't going to let Kyle repeat the mistake of another.
And so, despite all protest, Double D leaped at him from behind and enclosed glowing arms around him. Pieces breifly stopped falling.
[glow=yellow,2,300]"...d...don't..."[/glow] he whimpered, tears leaking from his glowing eyes as he shut them tight and buried his face in Kyle's shoulder. [glow=yellow,2,300]"Please don't... hurt...me..."[/glow]
