So today (March 27) kinda sucked for me. I guess it's nature's way of evening out the good luck I've been having lately.
So it's the first day of my new shift at work, right? I'm going over to my friend Kyle's house to play some Halo before I go to work. We're doing the weekly challenge (complete Tip of the Spear on Legendary All Skulls On, which if you know anything about the campaign you know that's fucking hard to do). Takes us like an hour just to get past the part where we're grenading in the Falcon because these Covies are all getting lucky ass shots.
Anyway, we get that done, I head in to work. First call, is a lady who's already kinda pissed, so I have to transfer her to someone else. Then I come to find out KU (my team in the NCAA playoffs) is losing to VCU. Sucks. (They did lose, by the way.)
Anyway, right before lunch, I get a call from a guy. He wants to switch from Sprint to Boost Mobile (which Sprint owns) and doesn't want to pay an early termination fee. Which, turns out, he does. So he talks to my supervisor and he's on the phone with her for another hour. She's literally taking the headset off just to not hear him for a few seconds. He just doesn't get the concept. Eventually he hung up on us, and she just turns to me and asks "Do you want to call him back?"
"Not really."
"Good, because I don't."
I'm like 35 minutes late to lunch because of that.
Anyway, I go get lunch, I come back, business as usual. Near the end of the day I get a lady on the phone. Now, I don't like it when customers get phones they can't handle (like an 80 year old woman with a smartphone). She can't enter the numbers I'm telling her to so that we can program the phone. We try it like 5 times, she can't enter it right. Eventually I had to trans her over to tech support.
That's not even the worst part.
I come outside to go home, and it'd been snowing. I see that my driver's side window is completely snow free, and my first thought is, Huh. Did I leave the window down? That's awful clean.
I reach forward to feel the glass... and I feel nothing. I look inside, there's shattered glass on my seat, on the floor... The stereo was ripped out, my GPS was gone, and the car's jacked up.
Filed a police report, came home, I'll call the police again tomorrow to get them the serial numbers to track those things...
And now here I am.
So how was your day?
