Jerry curled up on the ground. He was seperated from his best friend Tom, and he hated that. "Why? Why couldn't I have come with you?" He sobbed. His orange hair drooped, as tears streamed down his face. Would anyone find him?
That little bitch with her head held so high
Talking shit, and I
Cut myself so I could feel something I
Know is not a lie
He looked up at the trees, still crying, and thought he saw something in the corner of his eye. He rubbed his eyes, and it was gone.
That one stings a little,
I'm always in the middle
I don't expect, but try me,

This is where I scream from
He sighed, and got up. He carved the words "Help me" into a tree with his axe, even though he knew that it would not help. He sat down in hopelessness. Will anyone ever notice him?

"Oh, my head..."

Stygian went up on his legs. He didn't want to, as his head was spinning. He looked up to see a lack of cliff and a abundance of trees.

"Am I in heaven?"

He walks around the woods, remembering absolutely nothing outside of jumping of a seemingly imaginary cliff. He hurts like the deed is done, however.

"No, I must be in some strange purgatory. My body is gone with the hex, and I must find my way to the holy land."

As he walks, he notices in the far distance a body. A boy of some sorts.

"Hey!" said Stygian as he notices the boy carving something from the tree. It took him time to realize what was exactly inscribed.

"Help.... Help me?! Hold on, boy, I'm coming!"

The beating of feat sped as the since of urgency came to fruition. He hopes the boy is okay, and by any means, at least he is glad to have a companion.

[Sinta-tan]

Jerry looked up as he heard footsteps. He didn't know who this person was, or why he was running towards him. "Who are you? Why are you here?" he asked, scared for his life. He didn't trust this stranger.

[DM: Dersite Merchant]

Not far from the two was what appeared to be a humanoid golden-yellow turtle creature with a red shell wearing a matching bicycle helmet. Over the front half of his shell, he wore a blue vest and on his wrists appeared to be wrist bands cut from the same material as the vest. He wore casual black shoes.

This turtle guy thing was walking leisurely through the woods before he heard an anxious voice up ahead. Curious, he went to investigate from a distance, smart enough not to get involved until he could be sure doing so was such a good idea.

"Why... I heard you call for help," said Stygian.

He stopped in his tracks. At the moment, he realized that a heavy set man running towards anyone in the woods is grounds for being scary. He's glad he wasn't shot for it.

"Look, I'll stay here until you trust me. Kinda got carried away, sorry about that, little guy. Look, lets do this right. My name is Orobo. Stygian Orobo. I'm as lost as you, trying to find my way to... as a matter of fact, I do not know where. Am I dead?"

[Sinta-tan]

Jeez. Does he NOT know that I CARVED "Help me" into the tree, not say it out loud? he thought, hiding his partial frustration. He blinked, and then said "Oh. That's okay." He looked down, and then said calmly. "My name is Jeremiah Andrew MacKallister." He looked up at Stygian again "And no, you're not dead." He looked around "I think."

[DM: Dersite Merchant]

The turtle guy thing, a special kind of 'koopa' called a 'Fire Bro' named Char, continued to observe from a distance. There appeared not to be any immediate trouble, but Char figured it'd be best to still wait for an appropriate time before butting in.

Wait... Why does that Orobo guy think he's dead?

[B. Marquis]

Stygian blinked. Since Jeremiah does not believe him dead, it left a sense of relief but more confusion.

"Oh. Okay," Is all that he can initially muster. He then had another question in mind.

"Well, Jeremiah, What's the matter?"

[Sinta-tan]

Jerry sighed again, and crossed his arms. "I've been seperated from my best friend Tom." He paused, and then said "We've been friends for a long time. He saved me from those cruel people at the studio I came out of." He shuddered. "Knocking me down on the floor, kicking me until I bled. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Tom." He closed his eyes, and became silent until Stygian replied.

Noah had wandered into the large forest over an hour ago, with a bored expression on his face he looked around, nothing for him to do. Tangle, his tangrowth had spotted something and had jumped away to investigate. "Wait, Dammit Tangle!" Noah quickly grabbed on to one of the Tangrowth's vines and held on for dear life, the duo rode through the forest, Tangle swinging from vine to vine, until he spotted what he sensed, and landed with a large thud next to the group quite possibly startling everyone there, Noah slightly in a daze fell off Tangle. "Dammit Tangle." he repeated in a dazed state. After recovering from his vertigo he stood up and dusted himself off "Sorry about that." Noah apologized.

"I like this Tom, seems like a cool guy," said Stygian. "I'm just glad I'm not alone in this fiasco!"

Then suddenly, he dropped on the floor, writhing in pain.

"AH!" is all he could say while he was squirming on the ground. It seems so painful he cannot even talk.

Then, as sudden as he was in pain, he wasn't. It didn't slowly dissipate and alleviate, it just wasn't there all of a sudden.

Stygian sat up and held his head. "What was that?" However, he thought, "No, it can't be!"
