Yeah, so I was reading Undocumented Features one day, and I thought "I want to make something like this." This is what came out of my mind. Enjoy! WARNING: TONS OF SWEARING
Paradox: Bridge to Another World Chapter One "Now You're Thinking with Portals!"
OCTOBER 24
It was a slow day in KRK Labs, one of the slowest in its history. Kaz was in the basement, fiddling with his newest invention. He
growled in frustration, and then mumbled to himself "Goddamnit, freaking time machine, why the hell aren't you acting like I planned
you to?" He had gotten up at 3 this morning, so he was rather tired.
He heard footsteps, and looked up. It was his best friend Tom, and he was lugging around a giant box. On the side was a note with
"SEKRIT TELLYPURT BOCKS" crudely scrawled on it. Usually, bad spelling bothered the hell out of Kaz, but this WAS Tom Majors, after all, and everyone knew he was absolute crap at spelling. Tom smiled a smile that looked cat-like, and said "Kaz! I MADE A TELEPORT BOX!" Kaz sighed, and said "Yes, I know." He pointed at the note on the side "You scrawled it on that note there." Tom tilted his head in utter confusion, and Kaz facepalmed in reply. "Forget I said anything."
Tycho yawned, as he walked down a hallway. Boredom was overcoming him. And then he noticed a door at the end of the hallway. "SUPR SEKRIT" on it. How was this room super secret if it was at the end of a hallway, ready for someone to open it?
He walked towards the door, and heard a voice screaming "NO! IT MUST BE SECRET FOR A PURPOSE!". He turned around. Great. It was Gabe. Gabe grabbed Tycho by the arm, and screeched "It is dangerous! WE MUST NOT GO INTO THE SECRET ROOM OF DANGER!" at the top of his lungs. Tycho sighed, and pulled his arm out of Gabe's grip "Fuck off, Gabe." He tried the handle on the door in curiousity, pushing Gabe away from him repeatedly while he did this.
It wasn't locked, surprisingly. The room was pitch black, and the only noise in the room was a weird mechanical humming sound. He
heard Gabe saying "Wait. I guess this room wasn't as bad as I thought." as he walked into the room. Tycho walked over to a wall,
feeling for a lightswitch. He felt what seemed like a switch, and flipped it. The once dark room lit up.
There were circuits on the walls, the floor and the ceiling, all lighting up the room with blue light. Tycho stumbled backwards into
a wall in confusion, as Gabe closed the door. "Holy shit!" was the only words that slipped out of Tycho's mouth. Gabe pointed
towards a giant blue light that was at the end of the room. "What is that?" "How the hell should I know? I'm not the person that
made this goddamn building!" "Holy shit, this is motherfucking nuts." Tycho smiled a devilish smirk, as he walked towards the
portal. Gabe yelled "No! Wait! That could be the dangerous thing I was warning you about!" "Gabe, there's not a dangerous thing in here."
Once Tycho walked towards the portal, he touched it, and it rippled like water. Gabe ran towards Tycho, and said "I don't think we
should go in there." "Jeez, what's with this being paranoid, Gabe? Usually you'd be all over this shit." Tycho replied. Gabe sighed, walked towards the portal, and stuck his hand in it. "Hey, it tickles!" he laughed. "Yeah, you were paranoid over nothing." Tycho replied. He then turned his attention to the portal. "Hmmmmm... let's see what this piece of crap can do." He went into the portal, with Gabe slowly following after him.
"But I'm telling you, it really does work!" Tom yelled. "Suuuurrreeee..." Kaz said in a snarky tone of voice. "You don't know a goddamn thing about machinery. I bet that's just a regular old box." Tom turned the box around and pointed to the keyboard on the side that was now closest to Kaz. "Try it!" Tom smiled. Kaz was convinced it wouldn't work, but he did it anyway. To his surprise, a screen came out of the side. "Cute, Tom. Really cute." "Type something in there. Like a command or something." Kaz did it.

A menu came up, and Kaz blinked in astonishment. "What did I tell you? It really does work." Kaz touched something on the screen,
and the lid of the box opened. "What the? How did that-" He sighed, and shook his head.

"Jeez, why does that remind me of Undocumented Features? Are you like, a closet fan or something?" Kaz said to Tom, rather puzzled. Tom was about to say something back, when something rose from the purple liquid inside the box, making it ripple like water. No wait, make that two somethings. Tom and Kaz stared at what they saw. Kaz recognized what it was, while Tom was confused. Two beings, obviously male humans, were standing knee high in the purple, watery-like substance.
From what Kaz and Tom could see, one had brown and black hair, and was wearing a blue sweater and tan pants, and the other had messy black hair, with one large piece defying gravity, wearing a yellow and orange shirt, with a black pacman-esque symbol on it, and blue pants. "God, what the hell happened?" the brown and black haired one uttered, eyes closed.
The other one opened his eyes as well, and looked around, until he locked eyes with Tom. "My own clone!" the two uttered together.
"What are you talking about, G-" This stranger opened his eyes, and found himself face to face with Kaz. The two looked at each other, and then screamed in fear. Kaz took deep breathes and said in a rather excited tone of voice "Oh my god! Oh my god! It's Tycho from Penny Arcade! Oh my god! Oh my god! I'm your BIGGEST fan!" "Who are you? And why the hell are you saying this biggest fan bullshit?" "My name is Kazdan Robert Kalinkas, the founder of KRK Labs. AND HOLY CRAP I LOVE YOUR COMIC" Kaz squealed excitedly, and then started hugging Tycho tightly. Tycho squirmed. "Stop hugging me you son of a bitch. GABE!" The raven-haired human looked at Tycho. "Get this obsessive fanboy off of me!"
Gabe pulled Tycho by the sweater, going over the left side of the box, purple liquid dripping off his shoes. Tycho yelped, as he briefly went under the strange purple liquid, and came out of the box sopping wet. Tom looked at the two, and then looked at Kaz. "Who are these people? And why are you claiming to be the biggest fan of one of them?" he asked.
Gabe replied to Tom's first question, even though it was directed at Kaz. "My name is Jonathan Reginald Gabriel, but you can call me
Gabe." He patted the back of the still wet Tycho. "And this is Tycho." Tycho spit purple liquid in Gabe's face. "Tycho Erasmus
Brahe." he corrected. "How the hell am I supposed to know that?" Tom let out a noise of understanding and confusion, and then bowed his head "Well, my name is Thomas Anthony Majors, Tom for short." He opened his arms, motioning for a huge hug. "Welcome to KRK Labs!" Kaz looked down at the floor, and then back at Tycho and Gabe. "Gabe, you're going to need to clean my floor." Gabe let out a "Wha?" and then looked down at the purple liquid-covered floor. "Oh."
