As the spinning began to stop she found herself not perched at the top of a tower, ready to make another shot against the Signum's enemies, but on the ground, the Lord's Finger laying a few feet from her. After pulling herself up, she looked around and gave a sigh. This wasn't the Signum.
Walking through a broken door, she found herself in the main area of the church. A large cross was nailed above on the wall, she hadn't seen one of those before in her life. Where was the Oval crossed over, the stitches that block the eye of truth?
It wasn't her world. This wasn't just a simple bugged teleport, like the few times she had failed a mission, this was serious. She touched her ear, looking around, her eyes switching between thermal and regular vision. "Signum. I am lost, require help.." Nothing.
Not a single response.
The longer she stayed here, the more her mind was slowly beginning to question the Signum. This church held a sign that didn't even resemble their image. Was their religion a lie?, Was this religion a lie?, There was no way to tell. She had stamped out things like this, but none of them ever carried a cross.
Could she trust the Signum?
...No.
She touched her ear again, bringing up her map, a small window appeared in front of her left eye, no maps. She wasn't even in New Altostratus.
She fell to her knees, Lord's Finger dropping to the ground. She had been trained for every scenario and taught advanced sniping techniques, but.
She was still a 15 year old girl.
She was scared.

And scared she'd be more, considering her current guest.
A violet light glimmered outside the church, a body seemingly covored in flames drawing near. Dream wasn't being cruel on purpose- she had the ennate ability to sense fear, since it was her job to scare interlopers from her zone... But this fear was different.
That girl would probably freak at Dream's appearance- Violet energy in her hair and tail, her right hand disembodied, her left boney and clawlike... and her zipped up mouth. Scaring wasn't her intention right now.
"Excuse me." her distorted, telepathic voice rang. "Are you alright?"

Amiko's first reaction was to pick up her rifle once she heard the voice. She tried to fire it but her hands had seized up. The fear hitting her harder than she thought. She brought herself to standing, looking at the person in front of her.
The appearance was.... unnatural. It reminded her of the experiments she had seen at the bottom of the Signum laboratories. People turned into weapons. She knew what that was like, she was a success though.
Right?
She scanned the strange person, looking for something to pin her to, but Altostratus history and bestiaries had nothing on her. She put on a stronger face, trying to eliminate the weakness she had just shown. "I'm sorry, I was just a little overwhelmed by the area. I'm not from here.. I'm from a place called New Altostratus." That's as much as she'd get.
No need to tell her about the Signum.

Dream tugged at the zipper placed firmly over her real mouth, her false mout turning into a small grin. "It's fine, you're not the only one." As life-like as she was, Howling Dream was closer to a phantom than an actual physical being, despite being unable to become intangible. She hovored nearer to Amiko, a small section of her spine visable at the bottom of her cut apart body, through the violet energy making up her tail.
"And I'm not from your world," her strange, telepathic tone screeched. "I'm from a surreal reality of nightmares, but not always. I was human... once." She looked over her spine-like left arm, clenching her claw. "And fair warning, those bullets can't kill me. Beccause I'm..." She stopped, cutting off her telepathy. She was supposed to comfort her, not frighten her to death.
(OOC: you need her profile for a visual representation?)

As the two continued to chat between each other, they were aware of the doors of the old church suddenly opening...
"Oh! What have we here?"
Walking into the building, a young man wearing a dark green cap, and wearing a Highschool Letterman jacket walked in. His sunglasses covered face momentarily looked to the two, his expression hidden. However the smile on his face seemed to bode no ill-will, as he walked up to them.
"Are you here to pray too? That's what I'm here for."

(Nah, I'm cool)
Amiko wasn't really listening at first until she said bullets will not affect her. She was willing to test that theory. Shouldering the rifle, she fired not once not twice but thrice. Each round sounding like cannonfire with every shot.
The bullets went into the Phantom but the outcome was unclear.. this clearly wasn't a normal being . She gave a sigh and scanned the phantom in heat and night vision. She wasn't kidding. She didn't have any bullets that could hurt her.
It was then that the boy walked in. She noticed he looked nothing like a typical boy of the signum. But that was besides the point. She didn't offer a friendly wave, but she did stand after being nearly floored by the sniper rifle.
"Pray?, There are no idols to the signum here. There is nothing to pray for." She scanned the boy that had entered and once again, nothing on her database. She was without a database. She added his details to her database, height weight, the usual.
"What is your name...?" She turned back to the phantom, slightly less scared now she had backup. "I apologise for my rash actions, but I simply had to test."

(OOC: maybe i forgot to say this... she's still a physical being, she's just labled a phantom because nothing else fits her. She's not a ghost or a spirit, heck, she's closer to a floating, half bodied zombie than anything.)
Dream felt her body, which had a few new holes in it. Being non-intangible meant they'd make contact, but her status as being, well, dead, a puppet, a zombie and a phantom at the same time, made it pretty hard for her to die. A bit of the same energy that surrounding her being came out of the holes, before they quickly sealed back up, as though nothing had happened.
She looked Amiko in the eye, her false mouth in a frown. "You really didn't have to prove my point," she telepathically said, rubbing where they hit. "It still hurts when I'm hit."
Then the new boy came in, which caused her to turn around. She was almost certain he might get scared, but he seemed unaffected so far. "Hello there," she said again, still telepathic. "And no, we're... not here to pray. If anything, I sometimes wish i could, there's really nothing left for me now."
She seemed genuinely sad, despite her already cold expression, then heard Amiko asking her a question. her false mouth smiled, then she looked her in the eye. "I would tell you my true name, but it's too embarrasing now. I'm called, 'the Howling Dream,' or just dream for short."

Gantz tilted his hat to Amiko. "Gantz's the name. I'm a Wizard by trade." He nods to Dream and looks around. "It's always nice to meet new faces. Dimensional Island tends to pull in new people every other day. You see more then your fair share of weird or scary things living here."
He took notice of Amiko's statue comment. "Well... Yeah, this church isn't centered around any religion I'm particularly familiar with, but I treat it very much like a church from my own world." He shrugs a bit. "It's a good place for me to visit for peace of mind and all that."
Stretching a bit, he looked between the two. "So, am I to assume you two just got here from your own worlds? That's how it works a lot of the time."

[We are not too far from our destination Noble Six, although I sense warmth not too far along the way. It is unknown if they are friendly or not, so please arm yourself for pedestrians or threats. I shall set the shields to CAUTION MODE , so that neither you or that Child Cyborg shall be harmed or possibly killed. Do be wary this is only for Physical Attacks, and that I cannot use my Physical form while guarding for maximum defense.][/b] It appeared the one speaking these words was a girl on the visor of what could be easily described as a soldier, as she was a program. She lifted her hands as there was a loading bar that quickly finished. With that a shield around Noble Six had changed to the color Yellow indicating caution mode as it seemed to surround Noble six by duplicating itself, Andro on the other hand was still knocked out from his earlier experience, upon an earlier status update he was fine, but was just suffering from shock. His 'Stretcher' followed the yellow coloring and grew closer to Noble Six.
[Warning: There are approximately up to 2-3 Life Forms present within the facility before us, it is unknown whether one of the creatures is a humanoid or not, but two appear to be. Be Cautious Noble Six.] [/b]

With a click, the Spartan checked his M392 Designated Marksman Rifle's stock was ready. 15 bullet clip, 1 bullet fully chambered. The display on the back glowed a blue 15 and his visor displayed a reticle at minimum bloom, indicating the rifle was fully ready to fire. The extra ammunition reserves display winked on, showing him he had an additional 30 rounds for the DMR in reserve. Two extra clips. His M6G-B .45 Magnum was magnetically attached to his hip, along with its two spare clips, the standard issue. 8 rounds in the gun, and 16 in reserve.
He'd managed to scavenge an M9 High-Explosive Dual-Purpose Fragmentation Grenade, which was stuck onto the other side of his hip. When a button was depressed on this weapon, its fuse would light, but the grenade actually has an accelerometer that detects specifically when the grenade has impacted the ground, and only then will it explode. This allows it to be bounced around corners and into tight spaces, and also acts as a failsafe, preventing the grenade from exploding in the soldier's hand.
Although he was separated from Noble Team, and essentially alone (save for a rather useful AI companion and one currently unconscious android), SPARTAN-B312 did not feel anxious. He worked best when he was alone. Indeed, one of the biggest challenges he'd faced was adapting to a team dynamic, when he joined Carter and Noble Team. Noble Two, Kat, seemed very distrustful of him. Noble Three, Jun, seemed to have a taste for Noble Six's penchant for killing Covenant, as did Emile, Noble Four. And Noble Five..... Jorge had sacrificed his life to detonate a Slipspace bomb, trusting Noble Six to carry on his memory for him. But Noble Six didn't really care for all the team spirit. He just did whatever it took to get the job done and God help anyone, human or Covenant, that stood in his way.
He took Marigold's sitrep and analyzed it. She automatically powered on a shield for him, which overlayed his own, somewhat like a Huragok, or Engineer. He hadn't known she could do that. Up to three inside, one possible nonhuman, and unknown friend-or-foe. Figuring it best to at least see what was going on, he decided to look inside the building.
He felt a strange tingle as he approached the door, and he tried using an old combat trick his old CO had taught him. He held up his DMR, using the reflection off the scope to look around the door without peeking his head out. Simple, but effective in case a weapon was being trained on the door. What he saw defied his expectations, and he decided it was safe enough to go inside. He flicked on his night vision as he did. Noble Six remained silent at the door, making sure Andro was behind it, as he watched the scene unfold. Ten seconds of observation was worth more than going in loud.
