(Cbox Rules are written by mugenginga, approved by fellow mod Firebreath Fishslap and Admin nintendonut1)
These are the new (and polished) CBox Rules as of 06/25/11. Please follow these at all times within the CBox.
The Cbox has a three strike system seperate from the site, so you can be banned from the CBox without being banned from the site. However, being banned from the site will ban you from the CBox. Like the main site, you are allowed to "regain" strikes if six months pass from your most recent strike. If you have been banned from the CBox and continue to cause problems via it, we will start to apply strikes to your main site account.
Also, you don't need to read the rule clarifications underneath the bolded rules, but they are there in case you want them.
1. Try and Get Along/Don't Be a Douche
Same as on the main site. We're not asking for prim proper behavior here, just that you don't go out of your way to make conflicts. We are usually pretty good about letting people know when they're bothering us, and the mods are generally happy to sit in on conversations so you folks can work stuff out. We're asking for the general "Golden Rule" stuff here, y'know, don't harass people, try not to get too heated discussion wise, etc.
2. You Must Roleplay on Site to Use the CBox
We're not asking you to be the most active poster ever, but if there are threads you're up in, try and post in them once in a while. If you haven't roleplayed at all, make a character and start a board. You're allowed to hang out a little if you're new and trying to get acquainted with the site and its members, but please don't push it.
3a. Respect the Ban
If you have been banned, don't use anon accounts or different accounts to continue to visit. We can tell by your ISP and we'll ban it as well.
3b. Don't Get People to Deliver Messages For You When Banned
If you are banned, don't get other members to deliver messages for you. If you have something you need to say, please use the OOC boards and PM systems to contact people outside of the CBox.
4. Don't Ask to Be Banned Unless You Want to Be Banned
This is an auto-ban offense. If you start going on about how you should be banned or asking the mods to ban you, you will be banned as per your request.
5. No Mini-Modding
This is the same as the main site rules. It basically means don't try to enforce rules if you're not a staff member. We do have a report board (you can find it here: mrsaturn123.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=reportpeoplehere) and you're also free to PM a mod with your issue, so please take advantage of that. We used to allow friendly reminders, but it got out of hand, so please just let a staff know. You can find the staff list at the top of the front page or here: mrsaturn123.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=rulesfortheboard&thread=5537. If a mod is not in the CBox when the event occurs, your best bet is to screencap the situation and walk away until a mod can look at it.
6. Keep Post Pestering to a Minimum
It's generally pretty obvious when someone is tired of being reminded to post in the CBox, and we often use it for mentioning threads. There's no clear cut division about this, but if you start bothering people we will ask you to stop reminding them about posts.
