Personality:feels as though he is a burden on his big brother, Edward. He is a pacifist, thus he remains kind and gentle to most everyone
History: When he was young, he and his brother lived fairly peacefully, spending a couple years practicing alchemy, like their father. When their mother died, he and Edward attempted the taboo alchemy, human transmutation, to bring her back. This, failing, took Alphonse's life as well as Ed' right arm. After Ed woke up, he realized his brother was missing and figured out what happened immediately. He inched his way over to the giant suit of armor that had been knocked over when the alchemy failed, and made a transmutation circle in it. The trans mutation, at the cost of Ed's left leg, Brought ed back, and into the walking suit of armor that he is now.
Other: he cant feel any pain or anything else he only has his emotions and mental self in the armor
