Kaiba put two fingers to his temple and lt out an aggravated sigh. In truth, the most this girl had done to him was look like a clone of someone in that vision that Yuugi and his friends had involved him in.
"What did you want to talk about?" Kaiba finally said. He lowered his hand and looked at Kisa again, "I don't make it a habit to teach people things they can never master."
Kisa looked surprised and relieved at the change in Kaiba's tone, "A-ah... well... why did you save me? Like you said, you could have just left me there! No one would have ever known! What happened to that man, anyways...?"
"Nii-sama, should I tell Kouno we'll be a bit?" Mokuba asked.
----------
Cain stepped back from Abel's hand, "Bring it up with Loki, I was still dealing with damage control in the last one I was in when he brought me here."
Seth had a slight smirk pulling at his lips at the exchange between Cain and Abel. It was definitely an opportunity to return some of Cain's previous treatments of them. When Cain gave his retort, however, he paused.
"Loki brought you here?" Seth asked, "You didn't say that before."

Minato stood back and let Kisa finally ask the questions she'd been clearly dying to ask. So Kaiba had saved her from... something, and there had been some strange man involved? He couldn't quite make sense of it at the moment.
---------------
Abel paused as Cain spoke. That was something that hadn't come up before. His expression became rather flat once more. He stood up once more.
"I don't particularly like it when you withhold details from me, little brother," Abel said, his voice devoid of emotion.

For a man who was functionally over five thousand years old, behavior shifts were rare. Seth admitted he'd noted one as time passed in the Bel Court, with Cain seeming to shift based on Abel's shifted personality. But the look he returned towards Abel now didn't have any of the previous careful stepping or leeriness about attitude. He didn't know how long he'd been in Messiah's world, but... something seemed to have changed.
"I can't say I remember you asking any questions about how I got here, big brother," was Cain's response. Seth took a step back and to the side, not out of fear but sane caution. He didn't think Abel would kill Cain here, but...
----------
"Because you looked pathetic," Kaiba responded to Kisa's question. She frowned at him, as if doubting his answer. Kaiba looked towards Mokuba, "We shouldn't be much longer, but it would be better if you did so."
Mokuba grimaced at Kisa for a moment before nodding towards Kaiba, "Got it, I'll be right back."
"That's it...?" Kisa said. She looked and sounded a little disappointed, "Seto-san, I don-"
Suddenly Mokuba was tripping backwards over himself and fell down right between Kisa and Kaiba, his eyes wide and his skin tone pale. Kaiba's eyes widened, "Mokuba, what's wrong?!"
"Th...th... ah.... Niisama, don't let her leave!"

Abel could feel that something was different about these encounters. He was unsure how long Cain had spent in the other Abel's dimension, but however long that time was had changed the way Cain reacted to him.
"Isn't it a reasonable thing to think your family would want to know?" Abel asked. "You really should be more open with details. After all, Messiah followed us. He may have come through the same way. If you were to tell me, I could take measures to stop any other angels from coming through. It's really quite simple, Cain, and I'm not sure why you haven't gotten that through your head yet."
------------------
Minato stepped back to let the boy run back toward them. He seemed rather panicked for some reason... Minato looked down toward the entrance of the shrine. Hadn't Kisa sensed something that way?
He turned back toward Mokuba. "What's wrong?"

Cain smirked at Abel's shift in attitude. So he was going to discuss rather than threaten? He shook his head in a rather patronizing manner as Abel explained why he should be more open.
"The only angels we'd have to worry about would be th one's Messiah summons," Cain said. He pasued to be in thought, "Have you attempted to use Babel since his arrival? Messiah has the same connection to it you do, and it's possible the signals could get crossed and effect you both. After all, demons are rarely tied to a single dimension."
----------
"Don't let me leave, what are you talking about?!" Kisa quickly stepped forward to see what had Mokuba in such a fuss.
Kaiba's eyes widened at her sudden motion and he stepped forward himself, grabbing her by the arm. She was pulled back by the sudden force and looked towards Kaiba with a frown.
"If Mokuba says you shouldn't leave, I'm taking his word for it," Kaiba said, frowning. He looked towards Mokuba, "What's going on?"
Mokuba was getting to his feet when Kaiba asked his question, "Ah... that is... Niisama, take her back into the shrine, okay? I'm gonna call Kouno..."
"I can take care of it myself," Kaiba frowned.
"Niisama, I don't want to say what's going on in front of her!"
"What is going on you two?!" Kisa yanked her arm away with Kaiba, worry and traces of anger coloring her face.

Abel frowned, which probably answered Cain's question. He hadn't attempted to summon any demons aside from Ame-no-Uzume lately, and he didn't intend on testing Cain's hypothesis in the middle of a shrine after already having two run ins with the patron goddess.
"I'll keep that in mind," Abel said. "I suppose it's not possible to lock him out of Babel, either... what a pain."
He thought back to when he'd met Messiah. He'd been confused by Seth. There were implications to that... "So I'm assuming Messiah never met the Seth of his world, correct?"
------------
Something was occurring outside the shrine that Mokuba didn't want Kisa to see or hear about? Minato had no clue what that could be, not knowing Kisa's personal history too much.
"Kisa-chan, maybe we should go back in," Minato said. "I never met back up with Ryoji anyways, he's probably worried."

Kisa had an upset pout on her face and her arms crossed now. Kaiba returned the expression with a scowl, and Mokuba little a little frightened. There was a sort of conflict of wills going on. Enough of one that if Mokuba hadn't been panicked about his previous discovery, he might have been impressed. Not many people could get his older brother in this position...
Kisa's eyes widened and she looked back towards Minato, "But Arisato-san..."
Kaiba frowned at Minatos suggestion as well, "Just stay out of my way. Mokuba, show me what's got you in such a panic."
Kisa let out an extremely loud exasperated sigh, "Fine! You're always so stubborn! Arisato-san, who is Ryoji?"
----------
Cain frowned. It was possible Babel thought there were two Bels floating around again. And any advantage Abel might have from being more complete than Messiah via Belphegor was balanced and possibly beaten by Messiah's experience. He looked up with a raised eyebrow towards Abel's question.
"Given your own emotional attachment, I think it unlikely," Cain stated, "And I have little doubt YHVH has kept the information from him."
Seth looked towards Abel as Cain responded. Was he getting at something...?

"Ryoji?" Minato debated telling Kisa the exact truth. While it would be more truthful to call him his "boyfriend", cultural stigmas meant she probably wouldn't be too comfortable about that, and keeping Kisa comfortable was his main concern right now. "He's a friend."
He began walking back toward the shrine after saying that.
-------------
Abel gained a rather broad grin at Cain's answer. That confirmed it, then. Considering that, he had some plans for this alternate Abel. If he could get this to work, he could break him, and from there, kill him. Rid himself of a nuisance.
"Then we can use Seth against him," Abel said. "A sibling that his 'Lord' kept from him for all of these years for seemingly no reason at all. What a cruel, needless thing for his 'Lord' to do, don't you think? It would go against everything he believes..."

Kisa seemed to accept Minato's answer without question. She gaved a worried and still slightly miffed expression towards Kaiba and headed after Minato. Kaiba watched her go and let out a sigh once she was gone.
"Mokuba, this had better not be a waste of my time..."
"Aah, Niisama, you know that man from before, in the apartment?" Mokuba paled and pointed, "Ah... we have a problem..."
----------
"Would it even work?" Seth said, cutting of something Cain had been about to say. THe child closed his mouth and looked towards Seth, "You know how I was before, and I never even went down that road. We're going to be trying to get him to doubt something he's spent..." he glanced at Cain before continuing, "At least eight years following."
It was worth note he wasn't objecting to the plan, although whether that was because he didn't or because he knew better than to question Abel's suggestion wasn't apparent.

Abel gave a low chuckle as Seth brought up his quite valid concerns. While Abel preferred to not think of Messiah in this way (made it easier to conspire against him), by thinking about him as another him, he could guess how he would react.
"It'll work," Abel said. "He's seen you once, and he's now confused and trying to figure out what you are. He'll have deluded himself into thinking that you're something other than my brother. All he needs is for someone to come confirm that you are his twin brother, at least in another dimension. The seeds of doubt have already been planted, we just need to help them grow."

Seth gave a flat look as his response to Abel's chuckle, although Cain and Abel would be able to tell it was fighting back a frown. He couldn't say he disagreed with Abel, the King of Bel had a point. All he had to do was look at his own reactions. Did it matter how long Messiah had been ruling? He'd seen the man's expression before when he saw him. And he couldn't even object based on his... psuedo-mortality. Even if he didn't have the healing factor, Abel would insist on it anyways.
"What should I do?"

"Find him. Tell him who you are, enough to make him curious about you without revealing too much. Introduce yourself by your name in this life, he'll make the connection on his own. And most importantly, tell him about the role YHVH had prepared for you should I fall off the path to being a Messiah," Abel said, the venom evident in his voice.

Cain's expression remained the same, his usual slight smirk, as Abel gave Seth his orders. While he was playing nice, that's what they were, orders. He kept his gaze on Seth, knowing roughly what his reaction would be but wanting to see it anyways. Seth closed his eyes and let out a sigh.
"Understood," he looked down and to the side and pulled his COMP halfway out of his pocket, as if confirming its presence. He looked towards Cain, "Cain, will it alert you two if he attempts to kill me? I know it did before when H..I was attacked."
Cain shrugged, "It's programmed to respond to a loss of connection with the mind link between its user and it. If your life signal flattens at all due to a death blow, it'll signal us."

Abel caught Seth's dodge around Hitoshura's name, and scowled. His brother continued to keep this kind of friendship with the demon, despite the obvious issues it created.
"It may even be constructive to let him try to kill you once," Abel added. "Just don't let him do anything you think might get you killed. A stab to the stomach or possibly losing one of your limbs, but nothing more than that."

Seth didn't miss Abel's scowl, and internally chastised himself. He could have worded it without the stumble, without having to mention Hitoshura, and he'd tripped again. Cain seemed as amused as he always became when the friction regarding Seth, Abel, and Hitoshura came up. Seth looked a little startled as Abel made his suggestions.
"We don't know if I can reattach limbs," Seth said as he smoothed his taken aback reaction down. He shook his head, "If it's possible to avoid being attacked at all, I'll do it."
