Weapons
None
Abilities/Powers
He can create and manipulate fire at will to an extent; his skill with it is still a tad mediocre compared to more skilled Firebenders.
Skills
Kuzon's primary skill seems to be the ability to get in and out of trouble, which he and his friend Aang have used numerous times. He's also turning out to be somewhat of a good cook, though his cultural upbringing causes him to make his food rather spicy. He's also quite the dancer and would like you to believe that he taught Aang everything he knows about Fire Nation dances, though this is disputable.
Personality
Kuzon's a generally bold and adventurous, if a tad naive, young boy. He's shown a sense of caring and justice, and would be just about as upset as his Air Nomad friend Aang were they to, oh say, catch a group of guys trying to poach a dragon egg. He isn't above asking for some kind of reward for a good deed, though. But he's a loyal friend and will go as far as even distracting an angry mother dragon if just to protect someone he cares about. Given he comes from a time period a century before the bulk of his franchise takes place, he's prone to using outdated Fire Nation slang.
History
Kuzon was born to a middle-class family of the Fire Nation around the time Fire Lord Sozin had started his colonization plans again. He was enrolled in school around the time he was first able to Firebend and made a relative few friends. However, his biggest friend was an outsider: an Air Nomad his age named Aang who'd been advancing pretty quickly in his Airbending lessons. The two young 'benders bonded quickly got went on numerous adventures over the next couple of years, getting in and out of so much trouble and occasionally helping people and animals when they stumbled upon them in some kind of trouble.
One day, however, shortly after the by-then preadolescent Aang gained master status with his bending, he stopped having time to come play with Kuzon, and the monks would never explain to Kuzon why. Whatever the reasons, they apparently became too much for Aang after a while, because one day he reportedly just... disappeared. A good couple of months later, a powerful Firebending-enhancing comet passed by, and Fire Lord Sozin ordered his army to harness its power to slaughter the Air Nomad communities in order to take down the latest incarnation of the Avatar, master of all four elements. Sozin justified the genocide when it became public knowledge by claiming the "Air Nation" sent its non-existent military to oppose his "peaceful" colonization efforts. Kuzon, having had a close Air Nomad friend for a few years, saw through his lies and became very wary of his Fire Lord has he started what would become a century-long war against the rest of the world.
The Avatar Sozin was looking for, it seems, ironically vanished from his home some time before the genocide took place. He spent the rest of his days searching for him in futile. As they would learn, the Avatar reportedly disappeared from the Air Nomad temples around the same time Kuzon's friend Aang did. And as Kuzon began putting two and two together... Nah, it couldn't be... Could it...?
Other
Kuzon never appeared in the series proper. He was first mentioned indirectly in the series premiere and directly in "The Blue Spirit." He's later mentioned again in "The Headband." His only appearance was in a flashback comic called "Dragon Days."
