Physical Description
Bebe is a girl short in stature and big, bright eyes, but she wouldn't be mistaken for a child. She has a pinched in waist and respectable sized chest, making her a definite hourglass figure. Her frame is quite small and she's rather skinny, but not in an unhealthy way. Her eyes are blue and her Caucasian skin is of average complexion.
Her hair is big and fluffy and of a fairly yellow shade of blond. She tends to wear a headband under her large bangs. Just where she gets them is up in the air, but the text on the front seems to change a lot, and in a more comedic setting would do so for comical purposes. It can usually be seen reading "DEATH" in English letters, though.
Bebe likes to dress in variations on the little black dress. Her most usual outfit is a rather short sleeved number with a high belling bottom. It goes halfway down her upper thighs at most. She tends to wear heels to compliment her dress, so black is the most common color for those as well. She doesn't wear socks most of the time.
Weapons
While Bebe carries a simple scythe on her person, she wouldn't know how to use it as a weapon. It's kinda flimsy too, so it would probably break with much actual weapon use. It actually serves as sort of a soul dousing rod, leading her to people about to die or who have just died so she can guide them as her role as a spirit guide.
Abilities/Powers
Bebe is a spirit guide and has powers relating to that. She can tell when a person is due to die, can see things related to spirit energy, and has access to the Spirit Realm. What makes her unique among a lot of spirit guides is she actually has a free pass to access almost any realm's Spirit Realm due to her enrollment in the Spirit Exchange program (see History).
She can fly too, although she seems to need something to ride upon. She rides her scythe like a broomstick, and isn't always ladylike with it in that she doesn't always ride side saddle. If a shell is made for her, she can also possess it to have a presence on the physical plane. She can't be seen without those with moderate to strong spirit sense, which includes a handful of humans and all spirit creatures (regardless of if their alignment is with the reikai or makai.)
Skills
Bebe doesn't seem to have any limit on the languages she can speak due to her role, but she seems most comfortable with English and Japanese. She's also quite good at charming people if that can be counted as a skill. She's fairly decent at Spirit Realm paperwork as well. She's got absolutely no sense of direction though, relying on her scythe to accomplish her assignments.
Personality
Bebe is a rather flirtateous young lady that seems to show signs of hitting on anything male that moves - not just humans, although they've got to have a human level range of intelligence and she seems to draw the line at non-humanoids. She's kind of frantic seeming in her actions and isn't shy about slapping or otherwise beating on people to get her point across. The more she likes you the more likely she is to beat you to a pulp in any given situation, so it's a good thing she isn't very strong.
She's actually got quite a good head on her shoulders and despite her tendency to beat sense into people remains calm in most situations. She loves shooting the breeze but her topics of conversation can be downright morbid at times. She's kind of giggly as well.
History
Bebe was born/created to be a spirit guide whose jurisdiction was more diplomacy between the western and eastern realms of the Spirit Realm, with her apparent nationality being more American than anything else. She was so good at it that she was eventually recommended for the Spirit Exchange program and spent a lot of time in a lot of different worlds funcitioning as a spirit guide for many of them.
She met another spirit guide named Botan while she was being trained and ended up helping her through some of the training. The two became fast friends and Bebe would actually spend more time stealing Botan away so they could goof off than actually working, but it didn't seem to hinder Botan's progress any.
When the whole mess with Reikai Tantei Yuusuke Urameshi went down, Bebe was in another reality as part of the Exchange program. A few weeks Island time before Yuusuke got himself yanked there, Bebe showed up and began doing exchange and office work via the tunnel connecting the Island to various other realities, being that it had not spirit realm of its own.
It was when a person with powers of a death god decided to yank away one of her charges that she realized she was going to need help and fast. She wasn't trained to fight this sort of thing, after all!
