[Will have Mild Violence and some Blood]
The Abandoned Lab, it has been known that it had been shut down ages ago. Who knows why it was? Nobody! But, there's been suspicious acts of tyrannical reports of a madman reproducing mysterious hybird creatures that roamed about. Huh, wonder what's going on?
It was midday, and after bypassing the mountainous of the north, a young woman, dressed in a light lavender tone, white gloves that partially but not completely covered her hands, approached this tattered buulding. It seemed so dull, vulgar in appearance and flat out insidious. She could easily tell this place reeked of danger and odious, but what's not to like about adventure? "Oh, this place is definitely not suitable for lady like me, but my master would be so ashamed of me if he heard that~!" she said, chuckling slightly. "I wonder what kind of creepy things are going on around here. It can't be anything too much to handle." Aria, careful of her footing, because the ground was filthy and the pavement was old, rocky, beaten up as if someone smashed it, and needed serious construction help, walked up towards the torn down structure, analyzing how she could get in. But, in the distance, foulbeasts of such experiments were watching her...
"How exactly do you get in this place? It's not like I can knock on the door and say, 'Hey! It's pizza!' Hmm..." the young woman pondered silently, unaware of the danger headed her way.

While Aria was inspecting the building, Suika and Yugi flew towards the old Laboratory. Drink containers in hand, the two of them were drinking their sake.
Yugi was the first to speak up. "Yo, Suika. Wanna check out that old place? There might be something there." Not aware of the beasts that were around the area, they touched down a little ways behind Aria.
Suika was the first to talk this time. "Heeeey. I don't know you! ...Ah well. Want a drink?" Suika held her gourd out to Aria's turned back.

Hearing two, unfamiliar voices behind her, Aria jumped a smidgen in surprise, turning around. "Oh!" She exclaimed, sparked with immediate excitment. "Hello to you, ma'am. I'm fine thank you for your kind and generous offer!" she replied, bowing in respect. "Are you here to investigate this old lab too? I overheard some reports about a man creating these--" She stopped midsentence, her smile switched to a horrified expression. She pointed, then clamored, "--Monsters!!" she finished abruptly.
These foul-beasts were advancingbquickly towards their prey, cackling and slobbering, licking their lips deliciously. One looked like a horrid fusion of a bipdel reptile and wolf; had the head and arms of the reptile, body, tail and fangs of a black wolf, and nasty breath. The other was a weird combination of leopard and kangaroo; body and head of the kangaroo and claws and speed of the leopard! Another two were hybrid bat and pidegon, and ox and horse! The Repilian canine and Bat-pidgeon advanced for Suika and the Leopard kangaroo and Ox-horse at Aria! It was an unfair skirmish!
"Ah come on!" Aria groaned, barely evading the charging ox's attack, being rammed into by its curved horns.

Suika cheered in excitement. "Yaaay! Another fight!" Suika then grabbed a card, and holding it above her head, shouted in a loud voice, "Drunk Sign: Oni Binding!" She then threw out two chains, wrapping them around the creatures charging her and slamming them together and then on the ground.
Yugi looked behind her and saw another creature, a hybrid of a gorilla and a lion, lunging towards her. Thinking quickly, Yugi launched a punch with her free hand (her sake dish was still in her other hand), catching the creature square in the face and launching it skyward. "What the hell are these things?!"

"I'm not sure what they are!" Aria grunted, moving herself out of the way of the ox beast. She skidded to her feet, the palms of her hands ignited in greenish white light of magic, a vorpal gale unleashed from her hands as she aimed it at the ox thing! "Take this, ugly cretin!" She blared, the whirlwind gushed around the bestial apparition, swallowing it in its mighty zephyr, draining the wind out of it and knocking it unconscious. "Gotcha!♪" Aria grinned, victorious over her opponent.
However, there was one more left! Upon turning around, the craven had launched itself up and over Aria, bent to pound her flat! The leopard-kangaroo creature shone its ferocious, hungry fangs to her, hoping she would be a delicious snack! "Eeeek!" Aria squealed, closing her eyes, preparing for the worst to come. Shnnink! A blade met body, and body met defeat; several hacking and snip sounds clattered around Aria, who was unscathed. The monstrous creature had been slain, by a sword! "I... I don't think I did that. Did I?"
"Miss, please be careful." A youthful teen, about fifteen, possibly sixteen, came into view, holding a bloodied, large, longsword, the shape of a slender triangle. His hair was golden, a bit spiked, and his taste in attire was charming, as were his face and muscles, Aria could easily take notice. "I'm glad you're all right, ma'am. Excuse me." The lad rushed over as the ox-horse began to stand up again, coming into consciousness.
A formidable quick work of slashes from his blade did the trick, decimating the beast before it had a chance to retaliate. Blood and other unsanitary fluid gushed out from the remains as it began to harden and disperse.

Suika looked distastefully down at some of the blood that had spattered onto her outfit; though it wasn't too difficult for her to clean it up, it was still a hassle that unnecessarily took away from her drinking time. On that note... Suika took a quick chug from her gourd and, smashing a nearby rock into two perfectly smooth sake dishes, poured some sake into them. She then held them up to Aria and the newcomer. "So... uh, I don't think I got either of your names... whatever. Want a drink?"
Yugi chuckled to herself through a facepalm... Suika never changed...

Fwoowhip! The swordclad youth had taken a clean cloth from his handy, buckled pouch, wiping the tainted blood off his huge blade, cleaning it. Aria's skirt was a bit of a mess itself; she knew it would take a while for this to get cleaned off.
"I'm sorry for showing up so abruptly like so," the blond-haired boy spoke, finishing cleaning his weapon, and folding the cloth. "I'm Matthew. You can call me Matt if you like." He introduced himself, sheathing his sword. His eyes met the young women, peculiar of their names as well, and wondering why they liked sporting drinks. I better not ask... Matthew thought, keeping his posure. "May I return the favor and ask politely for your names?" Aria chuckled at his question and stepped forward, bowing yet again in respect.
"My name is Aria Vriphrea, but please just call me Aria." She replied, then looked onwards of the laboratory. It was a hot mess, and random cackles of electrical surges of energy clashed and discharged off randomly. It certainly looked dangerous.

Yugi took the time to step up and talk. "I'm Yugi Hoshiguma, and this is my old friend Suika Ibuki. ...By the way, if you don't like alcohol, don't drink that. It's pretty strong."
Suika said, "Shhoooo... what brings you two here, anyway?"

Matthew smiled, chuckling "Good to meet you two. And, I think I'll pass on the alcohol, ma'am." he replied, declining as politely as possible. "I'll pass too, thank you." Aria soon spoke after, not fond of drinking, as it would disrupt her shifting ability. When asked of why they were here, Aria twiddled her fingers as she began to speak.
"Well, I heard there was an old geezer living here in this ruined, abandoned laboratory, creating monsters of scientifically reproduced hybrids. So, I wanted to check it out." Matthew nodded, agreeing to this as well.
"Call it coincidence, but that's why I'm here too. I was going to put an end to this crazy man for abusing the animals and using them in his horrific experiments against their will." The teen turned his attention to Suika and Yugi, "How about you two? Were you aware of this tyrannical scheme? Even if it is a rumor?"
Aria examined the door behind them a little ways ahead. It was certainly strudy for something so old and tarnished. Walking up to it, she knocked, the door echoing her simple knocks throughout the interior, creepily. "Oh... that's pretty spooky." She admitted, the door mysteriously and slowly creaking open. "Guess it wasn't strudy after all. Hey you guys, I opened us a way in!♪"
(you can create your own monster hybrids too, Shade. More freedom the better.)

Suika just shrugged and chugged both dishes' sake. She chuckled a bit to herself at Aria's comment about the door.
Yugi, on the other hand, chuckled sheepishly. "Uh... we actually had no idea that anything was going on here. We're Oni and are traveling just to find strong people to fight. It's what we do."

"Oni?" Matthew wondered, his face clueless and quizzical. "I'm assuming those are different animals?" Aria laughed, patting Matthew's shoulder. "From my knowledge I think maybe like a demon." She responded, hoping she was right. The swordsman chuckled in embarrassment, ashamed his guess was incorrect, but decided to put aside.
"In any rate, I'm going to investigate this place myself. You ladies are welcome to come, but there's no telling what could appear next." Matthew started, heading inside. "See you ladies later then. Stay safe." Off he goes, and vanished in the eerie, malignant darkness of the laboratory that seemed to have fed of evil, suffering, fearful and helpless emotions that emanated from the living.
"And there he goes." Aria said a moment later. "I swear, he's like my master; nearly impatient. But, you'll always meet a man with such quality." She stopped talking to herself, and turned to Suika and Yugi. "You two want to come with? Who knows, there could be something much more of a challenge waiting inside.♪" Aria grinned, awaiting their answer.
Meanwhile...
"Aye, this place reeks of death, musk and chopped liver and onions. That's disgusting." Matthew half complained, walking down an angled, half destroyed corridor through the several dismantled hallways. Some lights were flickering on and off, busted, or shattered, giving the place a rather ominous, spooky flavor. Other rooms were broken in to, tables and chairs overturned, beds crumbled, the tile floors damaged beyond repair and a mess of litter of papers everywhere.
"This needs serious house cleaning. Whoever lives here is living in a literal junkyard." A roaring howl emitted of of nowhere, and echoed throughout the area! Matthew stayed alarmed, hand to the pommel of his sword, watching carefully every nook, cranny and turn he made, to avoid being surprise attacked. "That almost sounded like a wolf lion thing. I hope I'm wrong."

Suika got up and started heading towards the lab. "Yeah, you're right. Oni are one of the Greater Demons in Japanese folklore, right above the Tengu and Kappa. We're two of the Four Devas of the Mountain, the strongest of the strong."
Yugi started going as well. "I think we will join you; there's probably more of those things in here, and I don't doubt that they're going to want to fight." Yugi cracked her knuckles (she had put her sake dish on her head for a few seconds to do so) "Who knows, it could be fun!"
