Physical Description
Iris's most prominent feature is her rainbow colored tail. Her mother was a chameleon demi and her father was a naga. She inherited a color changing skill from her mom. The rainbow pattern is her normal look, and she changes color depending on her mood.
Other than that, she has the standard naga features. Long snake tail, human body. She wears a navy blue top as well as a loincloth, made for her by an older naga who taught her how to be a better hunter.
In addition to her rainbow tail, she has heterochromia. Her left eye is blue and her right eye is red. Her hair is long, and red as well.
Weapons
Her only weapons are her fangs (which contain a nervous depressant, essentially intoxicating the victim and dulling their reactions) and her tail, which she can hit pretty hard with, and is prehensile.
Abilities/Powers
Her tail changes color depending on her mood. For example, red means she's angry. Pink means she's happy. Blue means sad, and so on. In addition, with time and education, she may learn how to properly camoflague herself with her environment.
Skills
She can hang from a tree, and likes doing so to stretch her back out!
Personality
Iris is a very nice and affectionate girl, so don't be surprised if you end up in a coiled hug from her tail. She also has a habit of licking people she hugs, for a taste. Almost like a dog smells to gain a person's scent.
History
Iris was born as the child of a male naga and a female with chameleon-esque traits to her. Her parents were hunted by poachers, and Iris wound up living on her own at age six. She figured out on her own that she would have to eat things to survive, and through trial and error she managed to figure out she could paralyze potential prey with her fangs. She satisfied herself with small game until she was bigger.
She lived by herself in a forest for most of her life, which made her crave contact with others. When she was about nine, she figured out she could change the color of her tail with her mood. Having barely known her parents, she didn't know why she could do this.
An older (somewhat mean) naga took her under her wing and taught her how to better survive. She treated the older naga as a surrogate mother, but still aches to know her mother and father. After being trained and taught, she struck out on her own, and has since lived on her own once more (occasionally visiting her teacher), and lives a relatively simple life in the trees by a lake.
