If Abel's lack of reaction bothered Michael, he didn't show it. Not that one would expect him to. Abel's jab at Michael's loyalty, however, was a different story. Emotions were not comlpetely foreign to "demons", they just tended to polarize more than human ones did. Michael's frown deepened and he leveled a calm glare at Abel's words.
"Perhaps you should remember you have a... 'former' agent of Chaos under His roof before you cast shadows on my loyalty, Messiah," Michael said. His voice as flat and didn't really reflect his expression, "However, I can not say I claim to undersand Him any more than you can. Very well, Seth is your responsibility. Both his condition and his actions. Was there something else, then?"

Abel watched the angel's expression shift, while keeping his own flat. Those four angels had balked YHVH's will for so long that they sometimes forgot they were doing so, it seemed. Michael brought up Keiji, once again referring to him by the odd name of Seth, but Abel didn't comment on that. Once again, Michael was trying to provoke him.
"Yes," Abel stated. "One of your servants has been tailing Seth and I. I'd like him removed."

Michael didn't have subtle emotion this time, but oddly enough the scowl that touched his features wasn't aimed at Abel. He seemed to think for a moment and jerked his head towards the window Abel had sensed the Power outside earlier. His expression darkened.
"It will be taken care of," Michael said. It appeared as if something hadn't been done to Michael's machinations, and given that his anger wasn't directed towards Abel, it didn't appear to be the Messiah's sensing of the Power's presence. Michael seemed to consider for a moment once again and turned back towards Abel, "I trust even you can acknowledge the need for caution around one who has spent so much time under the influence of Chaos. However, it was not supposed to continue within your presence. As I stated, the problem will be dealt with."

"Thank you," Abel said to the last part of Michael's words. He was well aware of the kind of caution he needed to take with Keiji, though he was also aware he wasn't taking as much as he needed to. At the same time, though, he couldn't find it in him to suspect Keiji was lying. He was also sure that the angel that had tailed him would be dead soon. Michael was always rather rough with his subordinates.
"And thank you for your time," Abel added on, after a moment's thought. "That was all I was concerned with at this time. Should there be anything else, I will send another message."

Michael's expression returned to flat at Abel's thanks. It didn't waver as Abel thanked him again, this time for his time, although there was a general air of disdain around the archangel as he did so. Nothing new, Michael had never been one to approve much of how Abel handled things. He gave a stiff bow that could be taken as both sincere or patronizing depending on one's outlook on the world and YHVH's soldiers. He vanished in a flash of fire instead of rising back up.
