Physical Description
Kanaya's appearance is similar to that of the other trolls in that she possesses gray skin, black hair, uniquely shaped horns, pointed teeth, and her main outfit consists of a top with her associated astrological symbol in the color she types. Only two of her teeth are protruding, giving Kanaya a vampire-like appearance. The shape of her hair may or may not be reminiscent of a vampire's. Ever since Eridan's death in the 'Pre-Scratch storyline' she wears his scarf around her mid-section. Originally, this was to cover the huge hole in her body that said troll blew into her with the wand she had created for him. Now adays, now that the scar has healed, it just serves as a fashion statement. Another fashion statement she's aquired in the storyline was that of Equius' sunglasses, which comes in handy since her skin glows at varying intensities from time to time; a hint at her recently gained Rainbow Drinker Characteristics.
Weapons
A tube of lipstick which can change into a chainsaw whenever she needs it. She is scarily proficient with it...
Abilities/Powers
Being a Rainbow Drinker (A trollian version of a vampire), she has many Vampiric abilities... Which is sorta gross when you think about it... She has enhanced strength, and somewhat enhanced speed as well, though not to the Earth Vampire standards. Because she is undead, it is also extraordinarily hard to kill her as well. Aside from that, she isn't too extraordinary...... Yeah...
Skills
Not too many to count. She has done some gardening in the years previous to the Sburb game she played with the other trolls, but really, the only skills she has are fighting skills.
Personality
Kanaya is a unique troll in the sense that she has the unusual ability to withstand the sunlight of Alternia, even going to the extent of enjoying its rays. She is the only troll yet to have taken a liking to the art of landscaping, using her chainsaw/lipstick to saw away at the trees to create topiary outside of her hive. Kanaya is also very creative, taking a particular interest in fashion (not a standard troll attribute) and colorful patterns. She is also an avid reader of horror and romance novels, and also has a fascination for Alternia's version of vampires, the rainbow drinkers, even going as far as to taste her lusus' blood (though she quickly discovered that she didn't like it).
Kanaya is like Rose in that, despite her understated personality, she has no qualms about letting the blood fly if it must be done, such as when she pulls the Matriorb off her dead lusus or amputates Tavros' legs. Given her chumhandle of Grim Auxiliatrix, this suggests she is the kind of person given to perform unpleasant actions for another's benefit (she did not appear to relish the act herself). Despite this, she's a much more supportive friend then many of the other trolls, leading to them calling her a meddler.
History
(I will be honest, if I tried to go into Kanaya's ENTIRE history, it might take a while, so I'll do my best to shorten it.)
Kanaya was called to join in a game of Sburb by Feferi and Vriska, and ever since then, she's played a big part in the events of Homestuck, from Hive-bent and beyond. After the events of Hive-bent, she amputates the legs off of Tavros, allowing Equius to operate and give the troll new robo legs, she began trolling Rose, recognizing that she was the one that had written the game guide to Sburb, and was curious as to how Rose would lead her and her friends to victory...
Of course, her oppinion of Rose is destroyed and re-written when she takes witness of her destroying one of the gates of her world. Ever since then, Kanaya followed along with Rose's progress though the reasoning is unknown.
Following said events, she began putting a plan into action to save the Troll race from extinction, which involved the use of an odd object called the Matriorb which she had plucked from her Lusus prior to it's death. However, before she could put this plan to action, Eridan suddenly challenged Sollux to a duel and proceeded to knock him out, kill Feferi, before he destroyed the Matriorb. Though Kanaya is enraged, she doesn't have time to react before Eridan kills her too, with the very wand she created for him...
However, due to unknown circumstances, Kanaya comes back as a Rainbow Drinker, just in time to stop an epic 3-way duel between Vriska, Eridan and Gamzee (the last of which was in the middle of a murderous rampage that, a few minutes prior, had killed Equius and seemingly Nepeta). In a display of awesomeness, she one-shots Gamzee in the groin, knocking him off the cliff, punches out Vriska (the blow helping her see Kanaya in a whole new light, to the point of Matespritism), and got revenge on Eridan by taking the wand from him, snapping it in half, and slicing him in half with a chainsaw (Though how he's still alive in DC is anyone's guess.)
Some time later...
She arrives on Dimensional Island for unknown reasons, and lands amidst Void Cities Plaza. Of course, people panic given her glowing skin, but Kanaya has other concerns... Like finding her friends...

When Kanaya types, she generally does it 'In A Matter Such As This And Rarely Ever Properly Punctuates'. Her zodiac sign, similar to Andrew Hussie, the writer of Homestuck, is Virgo.
