Physical Description: Major Glory has never let anyone in on his secret identity, (but by my powers) he is a muscular man, and under his costume, he has sandy blond hair and blue eyes. Going back, he has never been seen without his costume, at least to anyone's knowledge. His mask is attached to a hat, that has a small eagle taking flight, all gold in color. His mask discolors his true eye color and gives the appearance of a glowing white. His costume is America themed in every aspect. The base color is white, but his chest is blue with white stars. He has blue gloves and boots, and he has a belt that is red. His cape has red and white stripes.
Weapons: None
Abilities/Powers: He has super strength, he can fly, and he has a star laser beam, as well as the ability to see through walls. He can run fast as well.
Skills: He knows everything about America.
Personality: Major Glory is a huge Narcissist, and he often thinks he is better than what he really is. He will never pass up a chance to be in the limelight. That being said, he also is very overzealous, and has a slight case of OCD. He likes things to be clean, neat, and tidy, his way. He also has a habbit of wanting to prove that he is the best. He does have a great sense of justice, and wants to right every wrong. He is a leader, not a follower, and if anyone else tells him what to do, he has a hard time following their directions. He will stick up for the little guy, and right the wrong doings of the world. However, his common sense is sometimes lacking, and he is not always aware of this. He's a horrible liar and some times not the brightest crayon in the box.
History: Both of Major Glory's parents were super hero's so there's no real guess as to where his super powers came from. He remembers that they were super powered, and that they loved him, but other than their names, Zoey Wyman aka Lady Star and Cecil Wyman aka The Striped Glory (forming Team Stars and Stripes) he does not remember hardly anything about them.
He got his shape from his father, but his eyes and hair he got from his mother, but he never shows his true form. When his parents were killed in an epic battle with their arch enemy, they succeeded in ending the man's evil plot but lost their lives in the struggle. Five year old Derion was left in their good friend's care, Uncle Sam. Derion only knew him as an uncle. From that point on, instead of being the happy, care-free child that he once was, Derion was pushed hard to every limit by his Uncle Sam. As this was such, his powers grew, and every day, his Uncle Sam quized him harshly on history of America, and made him work like a dog, even making him run around the world, making sure not to fly.
Derion was constantly bugged by the media anywhere he went. School, the park, and even in the movies. He just wanted to be a normal kid, but that wasn't going to happen. His school life was not any better. No one wanted to associate with him because they saw him as a geek. He was scrawny in school, so that turned all the girls away, and even though he was smart there wasn't many people who payed attention to him. It was in the little amount of spare time he had between school and his Uncle Sam's training that he began his own training. He studied America and did become fond of the subject of history and doing this, he was in his own world. He also was testing his powers. He was determined that by his senior year of high shcool, he would be pushed around no more.
His determination paid off, and by senior year, he was starting to get some stares, and the attention of the foot ball team, as well as the cheer leaders. He didn't however, turn his head to any. He graduated at the top of his class, and had offers to many colleges.
He graduated college with a Master's for teaching American History and Government for high school. While in college, he met a lovely young woman. He did fall in love, and being an American Gentleman, he did thoughtful things like bring her flowers and took her dancing. It broke his heart when he found out she had no romantic feelings towards him, and was only using him for a passing grade. He since then stayed away from the charm of women and kept to himself.
It was after he found her out that he began fighting crime under the name of Major Glory. He enjoyed that, and found out this was really the place that he could be himself. By the time he was out of college, his super hero alter ego was becoming famous.
He found a job and was a teacher by day, and crime fighter by night. This was starting to wear on him, and because of him only being the "nerdy" history and government teacher, the students often disrespected him. This did not stop him, not right away at least. He again fell in love with a woman, but she too was a betrayer, regardless of how many sweet things he did for her. She wanted him out of the school, so she could make some changes, and she had started figuring out his secret and she wanted to control him. Not caring anymore, he hired someone and carried out a deed that he himself wasn't sure he could pull off.
He faked his own death. As far as his world knows, and believes, Derion Charles Wyman is dead, and six feet under. The man who helped him with this was perfect, and Major Glory paid him well to keep it that way. There was no looking back now. He would only be, was only ever, and forever more would only be Major Glory. Only his Uncle Sam knew this, other than the man he paid off. The woman who had caused this mysteriously passed away. He had nothing to do with it, and he doesn't even know that she is dead.
In his crime fighting, he met two unlikely friends, Valhallen, the Viking God of Rock, and the Infraggable Krunk. Forming a strong friendship with these two, he decided to get an apartment with them. It was here that the three fought life and crime together. Major Glory, with Valhallen's help, formed the organization The Justice Friends, with Major Glory being the leader.
After all he had fought, he learned about a place that collided with other worlds, that could use some help. Being as most of the crime has slowed, he left it in charge to Valhallen to run the Justice Friends, and keep things in line, and traveled to this strange new place.
Other: His high opinion of himself can get him into trouble some times. He is slightly standoffish of women, and he is terrified of all doctors, and especially needles.
