Holy shit. I'm actually posting a new character application for the first time in half of a century

Physical Description: Incredibly messy black hair with a face tattered with scars. Frequently smokes cigars. Wears a red shirt over a black sweater with the symbol for Beli on it along with blue pants.
Abilities/Powers: The Meta Meta no Mi (メタメタの実), a Logia-type Devil Fruit with the which gives the user the power to generate and become an unspecified metal, becoming completely immune to most attacks. The only things that hurt him are heat and electricity. He can create various sharp or blunt metal weapons with this power, along with create giant metal walls.
Skills: He can fight.
Personality: Arrogant and cruel, with a touch of megalomania
History: Following the death of Gol D. Roger, he, like every other little kid at the time, wanted to be a pirate. However, in his village, pirates were universally reviled, and he was frequently beaten up by bullies, often severely enough to the point of needing stitches. Later, during a storm, the Meta Meta no Mi was washed ashore after falling off of a Marine ship. Young Ed later found the fruit and ate it believing he would be a pirate if he did. Instead of becoming a pirate however, he decided to take over his small village instead.
When he was 20, Edward remembered his childhood dream of becoming a pirate. However, because he was too lazy to build his own ship, he decided to start his career with a bang and hijack a Marine ship the next time one came by. Thankfully, about 2 months later, a Marine ship was in the area because of suspected illegal activity. When the ship docked on his island, he greeted the Marine soldiers by quickly killing every single one of them on board and replaced their flag with the jolly roger of the Ironside Pirates, which earned him a fairly high bounty for a rookie of 40,000,000. His current bounty is 306,000,000 for similar activities and his frequent killing of Marines and civilians.
