Spike jumped slightly when he heard Michael's voice in his ear, only then remembering his power over sound. In a barely audible whisper, counting on Mike personally amplifying it for himself, he asked uncertainly, "How can I know that for sure? Pinkie went crazy in our universe and far worse in another because of something I said..." He shuddered just thinking about it.

Fluttershy smiled and returned the hug given by Pinkie. She always appreciated a nice hug.
"Come on, I'll help you make it," she offered, starting to lead Pinkie to where she could make said pie. "Just for added assurance to Rainbow Dash."

Michael had heard. He sent back, "But if you don't... it will only make things worse when it eventually comes out... and you know it will. Better to rip the bandage off in one fell swoop."
Alice returned to her workshop to tinker with her dolls some more.

After a moment, Masahiro returned with pie crusts, various berries, and whipped cream. "There we go. I would've done apple, but it's so overrated," Trevor said.
"So it's a full on berry pie then?" Masahiro asked.
"The best kind," Trevor replied. "'Cept for chocolate."
"Chocolate pies are great, aren't they?!" Pinkie had to throw in her two cents on chocolate.
"They are... just not as healthy."
"Is pie ever healthy?"
We have reached a point where people are talking about the health issues of pie, Patchouli thought, but with a small smirk on her face.

Although he hated to admit it, Spike knew all too well about holding back confessions backfiring having accidentally burned Twilight's astronomy book only to invoke her fury when she found out for herself. Still, how was he supposed to go about bringing something like this up? 'Hey, great pie. Oh, by the way, it was pretty much something I said that caused Pinkie's sanity slippage'?
Pie? That sounded to Spike like a good conversation to ease his mind as he walked back in on the others. "I prefer a good gemstone pie any day, but..." he shrugged, "maybe that's just me."

Fluttershy smiled. "How about we make a nice berry pie, and put the gemstones for Spike in one part of it so he can have his pie too?" she suggested. It was a nice compromise, she figured. And she had a taste for a nice berry pie right about now.
But what if she accidentally gave the gemstone slice to the wrong person? That would hurt someone's teeth...

At the mention of pie, Soarin', for once, groaned. "I think... urrrgh... I'll pass on that..." Two of Alice's nurse dolls were rubbing his back to try and keep his stomach calm. Sanae had gone over and was keeping an eye on the stallion.
Michael joined the miko, humming a tune to himself. Inside, he was fervently, frantically praying that nothing would go wrong.

"But wouldn't the gemstones spread around too much?" Pinkie asked.
"Where would these gemstones come from anyway? We don't exactly have jewels around here, do we?" Patchouli asked.
"We could always give him the Philosopher's Stone..." Satori began.
"Touch it and be destroyed."
Satori blinked at Patchouli's somewhat scathing remark, but backed away from the idea.

Spike smiled awkwardly, glancing aside as he scratched the back of his head. "Aw, you guys don't have to add anything for me. I'm fine with berry flavored anyway..."

Fluttershy blushed, embarrassed. There weren't any gemstones, why did she think there were?
"Yes...of course. Let's get started," she suggested, turning back to Pinkie Pie to help her to make the pie.

Michael had taken to lounging in one of the large chairs near the fireplace; Soarin' had fallen asleep and Sanae was watching him, contemplating running her hand through his mane.
The boy was using his power to play music much like an Mp3 player and was basically in his own little world.
Alice chuckled at Patchouli's comment. Calling some dolls to her, she said to Pinkie and Fluttershy, "I'd be happy to help, if you'd like."

Everything was at peace now. No conflict, no internal drama... just Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Alice Margatroid baking a berry pie. Trevor and Masahiro stood amongst themselves. They looked strong enough to guard should the need have called for it, and Masahiro's recent breakthroughs in his inventions showed when he pulled out a metallic sphere of some sort and began tinkering with it. Patchouli and Satori were both reading while Meiling served them both some tea, the usual for them. The two Rainbows were discussing their stories, and while Winged Rainbow sympathized with Wingless Rainbow's plight, both of them were happy the other would be learning how to fly again. That being said, something did come up that caused a bit of confusion between the two.
"You speak a lot about Applejack," Winged Rainbow said.
"I guess so. Applejack and I have grown rather close. In fact... we're pretty much a couple now," Wingless Rainbow replied.
"Wow... um... I mean I always knew I liked Applejack, but..."
"But...?"
Winged Rainbow turned her head around a bit, then closed the door to the room they were in so that no one could hear. "To tell you the truth, I'm interested in Fluttershy... And I thought, you being me, you'd be as well."
"Well I was, but... I kinda fell hard, you know? I didn't feel like I could be strong for her. But Applejack was strong for me, helped get me back up, and we... kinda grew closer after that."
Winged Rainbow chuckled. "At least neither of us have to worry about competition."
"Yeah," Wingless Rainbow agreed with a similar chuckle. "'Sides... if it came to that, I'd whip your flank."
"Is that a challenge?" Winged Rainbow had a smirk the size of Seto Kaiba's ego on her face.
"I've been helping Applejack a lot on the farm. What I lack in flight, I came to grow in physical strength."
"Let's test that then, shall we?" Winged Rainbow playfully jumped Wingless Rainbow. The two wrestled about sometime, but in the end Wingless Rainbow proved her words true by pinning Winged Rainbow to the floor.
"I told ya."
"'Scuse me girls, but..." Trevor opened the door, blinked at the scene, and then closed it. Stupid green-haired man with his stupid misunderstandings. "S-Sorry!"
"Hey, we're not... great, now he's got me wondering about that little debate on what to call it when you're with yourself," Wingless Rainbow admitted.
"Theeeeeeeere's Applejack's influence," Winged Rainbow said with another grin.

Spike offered to provide heat for the baking process should the girls decide to take him on his offer come the time. In the meantime, the young dragon was occupying himself with a Nintendo DS on which he was playing through Chapter 5 of Paper Mario DS. Apparently, Paper Mario has a DS version in an alternate version of our world.
It was only a day or so after Spike arrived on the island when he came across the handheld gaming console, and he managed to convince Michael to teach him how it works. He'd been playing it quite a bit in his down time since then.

(Since Fluttershy is kinda idle, Edge let us skip his post.)
Michael got a chill running down the back of his neck. Revealing nothing about what had just happened, he stood up, saying "I'm gonna go and practice my marksmanship a bit..." Love and Tolerance appearing in his hands, he stepped outside.
Sanae just quirked her head in confusion, mumbling to herself, "What's his problem?" After a little more sitting, she decided to darn the consequences and ran her hand through Soarin's mane. He didn't wake up, but Sanae could've sworn she heard him mutter "Spitfire" under his breath. Giggling to herself, she did so again.
Michael, outside and a little ways away from the house, said to himself, "What was with that chill? ...I've got a bad feeling about this... feels like something really bad is going on right now." Taking several shots with his danmaku handguns at various targets, he thought, 'Best not tell the others... no point in getting everyone all paranoid.'

Trevor walked out and covered his blush, but Satori intercepted him. "It probably wasn't like that, you know."
"Damnit Satori!" Trevor said, though his tone carried no hostility, but rather embarrassment. "I'm well aware of that, it just calls into effect the clone theory..."
"... when in fact it shouldn't," Satori finished.
"I would ask if you insist upon doing this to me, but..."
"... I insist upon doing this to everyone."
"Exactly." Trevor then sat down and sighed while Masahiro managed to open the sphere, noticing the glowing energy inside.
"Where did King find this compound? He said he got it off some robotic clone he accidentally destroyed in the city... clone of our figurative creator..." He was mainly speaking to himself, but Patchouli floated near him. She and Masahiro had met before. They were acquaintances, even intellectual friends. Looking at it, she shrugged lightly.
"Looks like a manipulative energy. What are you attempting to do?"
"Well I've given up my angelicism, so I'm going to be seeking a way to harness this energy in a special... armor I'll be designing. This should hopefully allow me to be of more use to my compatriots then I currently am."
Needless to say, the conversation was top notch. Meanwhile, Pinkie and her two friends baked their berry pie happily. None of them were on the look out for bad feelings as Michael was, after all.
