Caught up in the game at the moment, Spike didn't really seem to notice or care that the girls had opted to use the oven instead. He could be heard mumbling to himself, "Ha... Take that you sick plants... Phew, that's the yellow one, so that's all five. Dumb kids, running off into a dangerous jungle by themselves like that..."

"It's almost done!" said Fluttershy, looking through the window of the oven. The pie was coming along nicely. No splits, nothing coming apart, and it'd fluffed up a little. And the smell wafting out of the oven was delicious too! She closed her eyes and breathed that in deeply, giving a sigh of relief.
Sure enough, within a few minutes, the timer dinged, and she turned the oven off, using a heatpad to pull the pie out and set it on a cooling rack. Now freed, the smell could flow through a larger part of the house.

In the house, Alice smiled at the two ponies. "Excellent; you both are quite good at this."
Sanae had taken to gently rubbing Soarin's head, which the sleeping stallion had found comfortable, if the huge smile on his face was any indication.
Marisa... was still out, getting mushrooms.
Michael, on the other hand, head a noise nearby; he readied his handguns and said, "Who's there?"
Out of the brush stepped Mokou, looking... well, like she had definitely seen better days.
Michael almost dropped Love and Tolerance in shock; as it was, he dashed over to her and said, "Mokou, what the hell happened?! You look like you got sent through a machine."
Mokou replied, "I feel like I got sent through a machine, Mike... that kid... he's inhuman."
Mike said, "Kid? What kid?"
Mokou said, "This kid... with messy black hair... horns and grey skin... Mike, he looked like a fucking clown and he was honking like one, too! He killed so many people... I tried to save some of them, but... he was just too strong. I died twice before I had to get away... I'm sure he didn't follow me here."
Mike's eyes widened and he gaped. He had read the webcomic. He knew precisely of whom Mokou was speaking. "...G-Gamzee? Oh no... must've gone Mirthful Messiah... ....shit. Mokou, you're sure he didn't follow you? Where was he?!"
Mokou said, "Bonsai Village. And I'm sure he didn't follow me; I faked my second death being the big one."
Mike said, "...I'm going to go investigate later. Not now... and listen to me, Mokou; none of this gets to the other people. Not. A. One."
Mokou replied, "I'm gonna stay at Kazami's for a bit; they'll just ask questions if they see me as I am now." She put a hand on his shoulder. "Mike, ...I'm not going to try to tell you not to go; I know you'll just go anyway if I do, but for Kami's sake, please be careful!"
Mokou went off to a different part of the woods, while Mike went back to the house. He shot a thought to Satori. 'Not a word of what I just saw, Satori. I want no one else involved.'

Well... apart from massacred Mokou and death in another area, everything was still peaceful... go figure.
"It smells delicious!" Pinkie said, looking over it. "Now let's get the guest of honor!"

Catching a whiff of the baked good, Spike saved his game in Yoshi's Village--the village leader had just given him a raven statue made of jade--and closed the DS. "Mmm... That does smell good..." he remarked.

Fluttershy went to where the two Rainbows had been, gently pushing the door open and walking in. Presumably by now they'd stopped their awkward wrestling match.
"Rainbow Dash and... uh, Rainbow Dash, we have some pie for you both," she said, opening the door further to show them out. "It's going to be delicious."

Michael had taken to lounging in a chair again, trying to relax a bit; truth be told, however, though he tried not to show it, he was scared out of his mind. He was fully aware of what could happen to him if he were to encounter a crazy Gamzee.
Sanae had gone over and started talking to Pinkie. Pinkie was Sanae's favorite pony, after all; it only made sense. Alice had sat down at a table, Shanghai floating by her.
Soarin'... was still napping, like he didn't have a care in the world.
Marisa was still in the woods. "Oh, score! Glowcaps! These are rare in Gensokyo, but it looks like they're pretty common here... perfect; I'll be able to make more healing potions with these..." A sudden rustle nearby put Marisa on edge. Taking her Hakkero out, Marisa said, "...Who's there?"

Satori stayed by herself for a moment until Trevor came along. "Hey Satori... 'sup?"
"I can't say."
"It's something bad?"
She nodded.
"I see... well... whatever it is, we'll be here if it comes our way. But for now, try to relax. The Rainbows are coming and we're cutting the pie."
Speaking of pie, Pinkie Pie had been engaged in conversation with Sanae until the two Rainbows came down. "There you gals are!"
"Wow... nice pie, Pinkie. Smells good," Winged Rainbow said.
"Yeah... ... ... good," Wingless Rainbow replied.
"Yup! I can't wait to get my own piece!" Pinkie said. Wingless Rainbow's ears perked up at this. "After all, it's so yummy I can't let everybody else get a piece and not have one."
"Wait... you baked this for everybody... including yourself?" Wingless Rainbow asked.
"Yup! And I got some help from Fluttershy and Alice! They're so nice I could just hug them!"
"Er... let's just... get to eating, shall we?" Winged Rainbow said with a chuckle. "Hey... where's Marisa?"
Marisa was outside, and with her Hakkero pointed at the rustling, she seemed ready to attack. Out stumbled a griffon who fell over. She didn't look bad off, like Soarin', but tired. "Ow... where did that tree branch come from?" she groaned. Picking herself up, she noticed Marisa. "Who... and what... are you?" The ever used question that was, quite frankly, starting to get annoying.

Spike sat down, looking eagerly at the pie with a grin, and piped up, "Hey, don't forget to serve me up a slice!"

Fluttershy smiled at Pinkie, eager for her and Wingless Rainbow to feel comfortable together. In an effort to show goodwill, she also took a slice of the pie she helped make. "It looks delicious," she commented, taking a delicate bite out of the pie, though it made her miss Applejack.
She shook her head, instead setting her piece of the pie down and hugging Pinkie Pie. "Hugs are always welcome, Pinkie," she said, nuzzling her shoulder lightly.

Michael went over and got a piece for himself. He took a bite of it and said, "Mmm! This is really good! You guys did great on this." He then said, "Marisa's out in the woods, still; she's getting mushrooms for potions. She'll be back in a bit."
Alice said, "Well, Rainbow and... Rainbow." She laughed a little. "Go ahead; have a piece."
Sanae took one as well. It looked delicious and she thought it tasted delicious, too.
Meanwhile, out in the forest, Marisa eyed the newcomer curiously. Lowering her Hakkero, she said, "Marisa Kirisame. I'm a human. ...I could ask you the same question, but I'd like to add one more; what happened to you?"

Wingless Rainbow noticed everybody eating. Even Winged Rainbow was eating. Eating the pie, she noted it really was good. She was beginning to ease out of her distrusting shell. This Pinkie Pie really wasn't the one who had done those things to her. Of course, however, the pink pony had to hug her. "Ooooh, I knew you would like it!" she said. "Pie makes everyone better after all!"
"It generally helps," Trevor added, eating his own piece slowly.
Gilda heard Marisa ask the same. "Name's Gilda... a griffon. I was just flyin' the skies when... something took me here and I hit some trees."

Spike had already scooped out a piece for himself and dug in. "Mm-hmm. I'll say," the baby dragon said contentedly with a full mouth.

Fluttershy continued to eat her pie, finishing it off and giving a quiet, incredibly cute little burp.
"Oh, excuse me," she apologized, "I didn't mean to be so loud..." She silently appreciated that Pinkie and Rainbow were getting along better. Their plan looked to have succeeded without incident.
Nothing could possibly make things bad now.

In a sense, Fluttershy's fears were less than founded; nothing was going to go bad... yet. Who could say what would happen, though, after...
"Gilda, eh? Nice name. ...You alright? There's some stuff back at my place that I could patch you up with. It's just a short walk that way," she said, pointing in the direction of the house. "I'd offer to fly us on my broom, but... while having a griffon ride on my broom would be infinitely more badass than a black cat... I don't think it'd be able to handle both of us."
Back in the house, Michael whispered to Masahiro and Trevor, using his power so none else would hear, "...I need to talk to you two later; it's about something important." He was having second thoughts about going to investigate the Village Slaughter on his own.
Soarin' had woken up and was sitting on the couch, watching; he had, for once in his life, lost his appetite for pie... though he'd get it back eventually. Sanae was sitting next to him, thinking to herself, 'AAAAH! I am so EXCITED! IlovethisshowandnowIgettomeetthemforreal! Soarin's mane is so soft, Pinkie is so nice, and Fluttershy is soooo CUTE! I just want to hold her tight and never let go! AAAAAAAH!!'
...Yeah; needless to say, Satori was probably getting quite the headache from her fangirling.
