Satori gripped her head, wishing at this very moment she had an off button for her powers. She decided to step outside and just sit there, hoping the voice of Sanae's mind would die down eventually.
Meanwhile, Masahiro and Trevor both looked at Michael. Each one of them looked curious, but it was Trevor that spoke. "So what's up then?"
And Gilda... was looking at the broom. "I can still fly. And yeah, having me on it would make it a lot more badass, but... I don't really need to." She was trying to play it tough. Just the way she always did.

Looking around, the baby dragon noted how happy and peaceful everyone looked. Even between Pinkie and the wingless Rainbow. Perhaps the pie plan was working! He definitely hoped so, especially since he still felt a slight knot in his stomach despite having enough of an appetite for this tasty treat.
"So... Everything's cool now, right...?" he slowly to make sure.

A sense of peace restored, Fluttershy tried to relax. But her thoughts started to trail off towards Equestria. She worried if Twilight, Angel Bunny, Applejack, and Rarity were all right. She paced towards the door, closer to Satori, her thoughts likely covering up the insane fangirling.
"Ohhh," she moaned apprehensively. She couldn't help but worry now.

Sanae managed to calm herself somewhat, though she was still incredibly excited. She started absentmindedly scratching Soarin's head behind his ears; the pegasus stallion not really minding. He closed his eyes and sorta zoned out while the miko scratched.
Michael furtively looked around, then used his power to say only to Masahiro and Trevor, "Something bad happened in Bonsai. I'm guessing you know about this... um... I don't actually know your names, sorry. Anyway, stuff from beyond the 4th wall... two words. Mirthful Messiah. And if you need two more... Honk, Honk. That explain things? Mokou was there and saw the massacre firsthand..."
Michael shuddered a little. "And I thought Kefka was bad enough... anyway, I was planning on going to investigate this later... definitely not now. But, I would like some backup if you're willing."
Meanwhile, Marisa hopped onto her broom. Her tomboyish voice rang out, "Well, let's go, da ze! My place isn't too far from here. You don't mind, do ya, Gilda?"

Masahiro listened to the terms, but nothing came to mind. Mirthful Messiah? Honk Honk? What was the former angel supposed to make of that? However, his eyes did widen when he noticed the look upon his companion's face. Trevor had been grinning his usual self after the Pinkie incident started to resolve itself, so to see that usually upbeat face go pale with terror was extremely unnerving, especially when it looked like he might break out into screaming at any minute. However, Trevor kept his composure, but the emerald-haired Brit wouldn't be able to deny the fear upon his face, so the former angel asked it in bluntest terms he could. "How fucked are we?"
"Remember Aku? How only Jack's sword could beat him? Well... nothing can beat this guy."
Masahiro grimaced. "Then... what do we do?"
"We go and examine the scene. However..." He looked at Michael. "It's better you stay here. We're... used to these kinds of things. We'll be fine."
Back in the peaceful nature, Satori found herself thankful for Fluttershy's thoughts, though oddly wishing she could pacify them. She could sympathize; she wondered how Orin and Utsuho were doing without her.
And outside the house, Gilda spread her wings. "Don't mind at all," she replied as she took off into the air behind Marisa.

Just as he was just starting to notice some oddly hushed behavior between the two guys Trevor and Masahiro, Spike felt a sudden lump in his throat. With a sudden lurch, he coughed up an odd little burst of navy blue fire and took a moment to catch his breath.
The fire quickly condensed into a ball of light, and with a pop it was replaced by some pieces of parchment rolled neatly together. Strange, this felt like a letter sent by Princess Celestia but... rather different somehow. Curious, Spike picked the roll up and opened it to read the first parchment. The moment he read the first line or so, the young dragon's face lit up like a Hearth Warming Eve tree.
"It's from Twilight!"

Fluttershy continued to pace towards the door, wandering outside into the natural environment. She felt relaxed here. The pegasus began to lose herself in the ambience of it all, wandering aimlessly into the trees, but not far. Maybe she'd find some cute little critters. She looked high and low and was delighted at what she did see! She fluttered up into the trees and found even more birds and creatures.
She happily played with the animals, losing track of time in her happy place.

Michael said to the two, "No way. I have the best chance of surviving... save for Mokou, should something go wrong... and I want to see this for myself."
Then, Spike announced the letter. "Oh? Huh. What does it say?"
Meanwhile, outside, Marisa touched down by a door. "Welp, here we are. Home sweet home." She went in, Gilda following.
Mike and Sanae both noticed the newcomer, and gave the same reaction. Just with different inflections. Mike's was a curious one, whereas Sanae's was more venomous. "Huh? It's you..."

Both of them lost track of thought when Gilda walked in. Masahiro just blinked. "Ummm... another one?"
Trevor's reaction, however, was more hostile. "Oh ho ho, someone's getting a laugh out of this, aren't they?"
Rainbow remained silent. She was clearly still holding a grudge herself.
And, of course, Gilda looked apprehensive to see her there. "What is Dash doing here?!" she asked. Then she noticed the second one, who did not look hostile... nor did she have wings. "And... am I going insane or is there two Dashes?"
"Oh you were already insane, bitch, but that's hardly the..." Trevor began.
"Oi, language!" Masahiro said, comedically hitting him with the butt of his sword sheath on the back of the head. "Besides, you shouldn't degenerate yourself over someone who's not a complete monster like this... incident we're to investigate soon."
"Let's start on that now then," Trevor replied.
"Yes, lest you corrupt the innocent of any more children's cartoon characters." Masahiro stood and the two walked out. Pinkie started bouncing after, but the moment she caught Gilda's eye, the other growled, causing her to walk back with a sort of forced grin.
"Oh come on! You can't still be mad over what happened before! It was all a big misunderstanding!"
"Misunder..." Gilda was conflicted, but the irritation she felt in her confliction was manifesting as anger. She knew technically it was her fault, but it was that pony who started everything anyway. Before she could speak any further, however, the winged Dash finally opened her mouth.
"What are you even doing here Gilda?! 'Cause if you came to start trouble, it's best you get out right now and go back home!" She looked at Marisa. "I don't know if she told you anything, but she's not a good griffon at all. She's a jerk and that's all she is!"
And thus the fires of conflict were lit.

When Spike opened the Scroll, the letter before him was written out in that oh so familiar handwriting... Or Psi-writing if you will considering who wrote and sent the letter. It was hard to mistake the clean, clear, almost regal writing that he attributed to one Unicorn in particular...
------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Spike
I hope this letter finds you well, you have no idea how much you are missed back here in Equestria. I have been hearing all kinds of distressing news from your end thanks to this letter from a friend of yours by the name of Michael Neilsen.
Now make no mistake, there is a point to this letter. But first I feel it's only necessary to ask the primary questions any sister would ask a brother. Firstly, how are you? Are you well? How are Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy? You wouldn't have happened to have seen Pinkie Pie have you? She has went missing recently, and I believe she may be on this Dimensional Island same as you. I hope that, when we do find you, you will be in good health. Of course, hope is all I can do at this moment.
Soon enough, once I have gathered Apple Jack and Rarity, we shall go and find our way to where you are. But before we can do that, we need your help.
We need you to tell us where you came across the portal. Once we know where to start, our arrival will be that much quicker. The sooner we get your response for this letter, the sooner we will know where to start looking.
I look forward to your response. We all do.
Your friend Twilight Sparkle

Spike chuckled as he finished reading the letter. "Man, it's good to hear from Twilight again..." mused the young dragon. "Probably better let her know Pinkie's here now...and maybe some of the other stuff that's been going on. A lot of stuff happened since we last..."
He trailed off as he suddenly sensed an oddly tense mood in the general area. "Hey, guys," he asked as he walked in the general direction everyone else was in, letter still clutched in one claw, "what's going... oh..."
His question trailed off in an awkward mumble as he spotted an all too familiar griffon at the door. Still remembering the sour note her party ended on, he had a bad feeling this was gonna turn ugly.

After quality time with herself in the woods, Fluttershy began to head back to the house. She had cheered up significantly, almost nothing could ruin her good mood right now. She was humming a pleasant melody as she came into sight of the house, and as she nudged the door open and began to walk inside, she wasn't watching where she was going...
... and ran smack into Gilda for the second time since they'd met. Startled and caught off balance, Fluttershy fell over (making almost no sound, as lightweight as she was), and she looked up at what she'd run into.
She nearly burst into tears right then and there.

Michael saw Masahiro and Trevor leaving, and, quickly borrowing some power from Yuka, made a doppelgänger outside that followed after them.
Sanae walked up to Gilda, her gohei in her hand. "I'm going to enjoy this... this is for making Fluttershy cry!"
As she started to swing the gohei, Michael caught her arm, stopping it cold. "Sanae, no."
"Yes. She's had this coming for a long time!" Sanae turned and glared at Michael.
Michael glared back. "That's real nice, Sanae. Whatever happened to 'Love and Tolerance'? Do you even think that Fluttershy would like you 'avenging' her like this? You do realize that I can't let you do what you're planning on doing, yes?"
Sanae completely turned toward him. "Spare me the lectures, Nielsen, I am not interested in hearing them from you. The only ones I'd listen to a lecture from are Kanako-sama and Suwako-sama. And since you won't let me dispense justice... step outside! I'll just have to smack you down first!"
Sanae then walked outside, head held high. Michael facepalmed. He muttered under his breath, "God dammit, it's always like this with her..." He followed.
Soarin' had been watching the whole exchange, then walked beside the winged Rainbow and whispered, "Care to fill me in? I have absolutely no idea what's going on..."

The wingless Rainbow sighed. "Gilda's an old friend... I do say old. We met after I had dropped out of flight school. Back then, it felt like the world was against both of us. She ran away from home for whatever reason herself, so we got along well. Thing is... when she left to make herself stronger, I had been approached by weather management and was able to adapt to living in Ponyville. I wasn't the free spirit Gilda befriended anymore, so when she came back to find me around the other ponies, especially Pinkie Pie, she got jealous and started acting like a jerk towards them. It took me a while to see it. Ironically enough, it was during Pinkie Pie's party. Applejack calls what happened to her "karma" as every prank I set up for... anypony really... hit her. She got real mean with Pinkie Pie, blaming her for it, so I drove her off. After that we were no longer friends and I just... sort of forgot about her. Of course... that would be where it ends for her." She looked to her winged counterpart, still snarling at Gilda. "For me, though, my Pinkie Pie killed and ate Gilda. So seeing her now... is oddly relieving."
Winged Dash didn't feel the same way of course. "I haven't forgotten what you did to Pinkie Pie, what she said you did to all my friends and even Ponyville!"
"Oh really? Because I haven't forgotten how you defended her for the pranks she set up!"
"I told you before, I was the one who set those up! Now if you don't leave right this instant, I will...!"
"But where's she gonna stay?!" Pinkie interrupted. Despite being the victim of Gilda's rage, she had been the one whose big idea was to change Gilda via an attitude altering party. And she pretty much forgave and forgot... unless it was incredibly upsetting... what would make her hair drop, in other words. "She doesn't even know where we are! She wouldn't be able to find her way out and..." She gasped. "She might get eaten by the spooky beasts that might be out in the forest! That one Trevor was mumbling about just a minute ago, a COMPLETE MONSTER!"
"But she's 'the coolest and toughest!' She can take care of herself! Why should I care?" That last sentence was said lower and more somber, but still in a snarl, as the winged Dash walked upstairs. Gilda just stared, but then turned.
"That's right. I am much cooler and tougher... I don't need to be here. She can keep hanging with her lame friends." Mostly talking to herself, Gilda walked outside and took flight. The wingless Dash just walked without a word.

The mood in the room was so tense, it was almost suffocating. If there was any place Spike wanted to be, this at this point was NOT it, and in a badly staged air of casualness he tried to think of a way out of this scene.
"Wehehelll... This was awkward... I should...probably go...washupthepiedishesbye!" He side slipped at Roadrunner speed into the kitchen before anyone could've had the chance to stop him.
