Normally, I don't give this board the time of day, but in this case I think I'll make an exception.
Is it just me, or have there been quite a few political ads for the past week or two trying to demonize the EPA? "Oh no! The EPA is making all these rules and guidelines that threaten job growth for something as silly as protecting the environment!"

While I haven't actually seen the ads in question, I did read an article about something related to that. >_> Because the EPA passed a new act related to pollution recently, a lot of states and companies are suing the government to try and get it repealed. Of note is that the states are all headed by Republican governors, kind of like when Bush got attacked by a bunch of Democrat-headed states about six years back for not doing enough about the environment.
It's basically one of those partisan based issues that are REALLY prominent in political ads right now because the only undecided candidate for next year's election is the Republican candidate, since Obama's running for reelection.
