Full Name: Chisaki Nekoi
Nicknames: Chi
Age: 24
Height: ? (Average)
Weight: ? (Average due to muscle)
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alliance: Neutral
Home: Void City, Dimension Island (Originally S-Prefecture, Japan)
Franchise: Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (Onisarashi-hen) Original Character
Appearance
Chisaki is a Japanese woman sporting a noticeable but not heavy tan. She is of fairly average height for her ethnicity. She has a slim figure, but muscles are noticeable if you were to get her in a swimsuit. She has dark red eyes that do manage to appear hazel in some lights.
She has short dark pink hair, the bottom tip concealing and coming down to the base of her neck. The bottom is a bit hacked looking, and in fact the whole style has a bit of an unprofessional looking cut going on. It looks a bit stringy on most days, as if she passes a comb through it once or twice. Her bangs aren't in much better condition, but they come up a bit from the center of her forehead and frame her face. The outer half of her eyes are concealed by them, but its not enough to make people wonder how she sees.
Chisaki doesn't have a standard outfit. She doesn't even wear her uniform all that often. She does have a preferred style. Tight jeans, t-shirts, and jackets. The jackets almost never have hoods, and she seems to like light ones even in colder weather. The jeans are almost always dark blue, she dislikes the faded and worn look. She dresses most commonly in dark colors, as well. Blacks, blues, navy. It contrasts a bit with her hair, which already contrasts a fair bit with her tan.
Weapons
Chisaki carries two weapons on her at almost all times. She has a pistol of standard issue for police. She tends to wear it concealed, her job (police officer) allowing it. She also has a can of pepper spray, but she tends not to use that on the job.
Abilities/Powers
None. Chisaki is a normal human in that regard.
Skills
Due to her analytical nature, Chisaki is more than a bit observant. She's agile and a dead shot. She tends to run into weaknesses in hand to hand combat, but she can almost hit targets with her eyes closed. She's above average at pattern recognition, and she's got some mild psychology knowledge. Enough to sound like she knows what she's talking about, but still make some pretty epic mistakes.
Personality
Chisaki is rational and analytical. She also has a bit of a stick up her ass. Beyond all that, she's stubborn, badmouthed, and gets easily irritated at what she perceives as stupidity. She perceives a lot as stupidity. She's a skeptic, and doesn't deal well with conversations about curses and demons. Even on the Island, where such things can happen, she has found there tends to be a rhyme and reason to these sort of things. She doesn't believe in what she can't see with her own eyes.
She's pretty grouchy as a result of all this. She has a short temper and yells a lot. She despises her nickname and a lot of people only use it behind her back. She's pretty entertaining to tease if you don't worry about the near guaranteed rampage she'll go on. She doesn't trust people much either, and after a few attempts at giving her a partner she's become more of a single officer.
History
Chisaki was born the fourth child of a two parent household, and the only girl. She ended up being the last child, and her personality was pretty dictated by her older brothers. Her parents were often away at work, and as a kid she had pretty large issues with being "feminine". She even developed using "ore" as her personal pronoun as result of her environment. Life was more or less average, and she became a cop when she was 21. She was 22 in 1983, when shit hit the fan in her life.
It was one of the many cases of old people "losing" it that followed the gas-like miasma in the country town of Hinamizawa. No one in her family, thankfully, but the family of the woman her oldest brother was dating. He was in another town, having moved out when she was 16. She had gotten wind of her brother's engagement, but had to skip the party because of work. The rest of her family didn't. The rest of her family came up dead a week later, and her brother's fiancee and her old father were the ones chiefly responsible. They were dead as well.
She didn't take it well when no blame was placed upon the family. The investigative efforts of some out of town cops that thought they knew best had settled down the populace. Those who had gone crazy weren't to blame. If they had been alive, they would have probably gotten off with pleas of insanity like that one Natsumi teenager had. Chisaki was livid. She was fighting to investigate the Hinamizawa fall out, but the government would have none of it. The place wasn't safe, she would breath in the miasma and die if she went there. Chisaki was more willing to believe that idiotic alien story than the crap people were trying to shove down her throat.
Chisaki was never able to get very far in her attempts to investigate things. Dimensional ripples effecting dozens of closely linked Japan's brought her to the Island. She was able to get a job at the police department in Void City, only to find out over half the station believed in the stupid "Oyashiro-sama" bullshit her homeworld had. She stuffed her feelings on the subject, and instead channeled it into finding the facts behind events on Void City, settling down for good there about a year back.
Other
The arc she is from is manga only. There is a retelling of it on a DS game known as Kizuna (Bonds) but the ending is apparently different. Chisaki is based around the manga arc. The name translates (according to Wikipedia) to "Demon Exposing Arc".
I have no pictures of her.
