Black Wings of Strength (private)

Although Poppy had made a generally fast escape toward the village, he was soon faced with the one easily destroyable obstacle he never expected- a huge rock to the face. "Ow my aching hat!" he yelled, though it was pretty muffled.

Unseen in the boulder- how he managed to get sucked in dead center is beyond me- he was quickly revealed after being chucked into the mountainside, managing to land directly on top of one of the boulders that he originally fell with. "Didn't hurt..." he spat. "I'm from Dreamland."

Raven held up his hand, motioning to the somewhat teetery Oni. "Suika, that's enough. Don't fall for his taunts, no matter how much the drink meant to you," he cautioned. Stepping closer, he finally grabbed hold of him by his fluffy violet pajamas and picked him up- by the looks of it, he suffered quite a bit just from being trapped in stone. "Looks like this little clown needs a time out."

Poppy just chuckled a bit. "You and i both know there's not a prison that can hold me, Grand knight reject," Poppy giggled. "Especially when i can pop a bomb right now if i wanted to."

"You could..." Raven admitted, making the clown smirk. "but then, I think that'd make my new companions quite angry." Turning toward them, he made sure- "Wouldn't it? I can tell you that his bombs make for good fun when punched right." And that's when Poppy frowned.

Neither of the Oni girls were amused. "Considering half the dangerous residents of our world can do that, it has no effect on us."

Yugi punched her open palm. "We have no qualms about pummeling troublemakers. Keep that in mind."

Suika added, "You haven't even seen half of what I can do."

That did it. clown boy was officially scared out of his mind. "I'd rather go home..." he wimpered.

"Too bad." Raven countered. It wasn't noticeable, but he had a huge toothy grin under his mask. "Now then, what do you suggest we do?" he asked the Onis, looking toward them. "Yugi, you want to give it a try? Or maybe you'd like to give him a few smacks, Suika. In fact, let's do it like this."

Poppy looked at him confused. "Wait, what are you-" Then Raven took to the skies. "Oh Marx no! Noooo!"

Winding up, Raven then proceeded to launch a fastball at the two Oni, With Junior as the ball. "Heads up!"

Yugi took a drink of sake from her dish and said, "Now you're talkin'!" Kneeling down a little, she shouted "Hey, Suik! Go long!" Suika vanished in mist and went a way away, and Yugi kicked Poppy right to her.

Suika activated another card. "Giant Oni! Missing...Purple...POWER!" She grew giant and wound up her fist, then launched Poppy with a punch. "Headin' your way, Raven!"

Between getting kicked in the rear end by the larger one, then gitting a huge punch in the stomach by the formerly smaller one, Poppy was about ready to just pull up his bomb and let it burst in his hands- but no such luck.

preparing, Raven wrapped himself in another black gathering of wind, growing faster over time. "Good luck wherever you wind up!"

"Wait, what the heck do you-"

With one well timed manuvere and a slap with the flat end of Raven's sword, Poppy was sent flying farther than a baseball on the moon. "WAAAAAAAUUUUuuuuuuuuggggh-!" And just like that, he was gone in a flash of light, right in the direction of the City.

"Remind me to do that with you two another time!" Raven laughed, hovering back down to them.

The two Oni were on the ground laughing at the clown's misfortune. Was it nice? Not really. Did they care? Hell no!

Suika said, between bouts of laughter, "That was choice. Here." She offered her gourd. "Don't worry; you can change what's in it!"

Yugi was laughing so hard she almost couldn't breathe.

Taking the gourd in question, he looked at it... questioningly. For starters he wasn't sure how to change what was inside, and he didn't know the limits of what it could change to- be it alchoholic or safe. "Umm..." he squeaked, before just resorting to shake it.

Suika said, "Oh, that was dumb of me. You just focus on what you want, and the gourd does the rest."

Yugi had calmed down a bit, and, taking a drink of sake, said, "So, where are you heading off to?"

He sighed idiotically- of course he had to concentrate. He had to think about it for a while, but came to his conclusion rather fast. Pulling off his mask to be able to properly drink it, he lifted the gourd up and guzzled a bit- putting it back down with red lines of liquid going down his mouth.

"The very best Pop Star has to offer," he sighed, wiping the stain from his mouth. Nothing like a little Maxim Tomato Juice to get the old blood flowing. Handing the gourd back to Suika, he quickly put his mask back on. "Well," he answered Yugi, "I wasn't planning on going anywhere in particular. I've just been wondering around the island for the months I've been here. Although..."

It was a long shot, but he knew what had to be done. "There've been a few ominous forces as of late. I don't recognize the worlds of most, but I can tell that someone's evil without much thought- well, normally, anyway."

Yugi's gaze turned more serious. "Huh... is that so. Grandma Gappy... sorry, you wouldn't know her; a lady from our world named Yukari, she sent a few people we knew here to investigate somethin' like that that might happen."

Suika chimed in, "Might be good for a fight or two, who can say?"

Raven smiled under his mask. "I'd prefer not to pick fights, but if it's truly someone of an evil nature, i won't hesitate. Which reminds me-" He faced away from them, wings drooping. "I... was a bit unnerved by your horns. Forgive me for making such a... stereo-type of sorts toward your appearance. As a knight, I tend to see similar looking beings often."

He was expecting a punch in the face, angry glares, something to that effect considering he took stereotypes over actually getting to know someone first. Gulping he turned back around to face them. "My sincerest of appologies."

The two Oni girls just shrugged. "Eh, we used to get that all the time; 'S why most of our kind moved to the Underground a good half a century ago." Yugi continued, "They're not that bad, though, are they? I mean, cripes; my horn is red with a yellow star..."

Suika then said, "It doesn't matter anyway. Believe me, there are far scarier people in Gensokyo than us, and they look far more normal."

He had to take their words into consideration- if we all judged by appearance, Galacta wouldn't have been sealed away at all. "I understand what it is you mean now," he said, stepping past the two of them and heading for a cliff point. "Now as I said, I'm pretty much wondering at this point- but you're free to follow if you wish."

He jumped off the cliff on that note- plummeting quite a ways before flying up. "Forgive me if i forgot to ask this," he called to them, now at eye level again. "but do either of you have a way to follow me while I'm up here?"

Suika tapped him on his back. "Yep." She and Yugi were both floating in the air.

Yugi said, "Everyone in our world that fights can do this one way or another. Now..." She flew up by Raven. "Shall we get going?"

He chuckled a bit. Some beings knew how to fly with or without wings- so he shouldn't have been surprised. "Heh, let's."

Raven decided to take the lead- He didn't know where he was going, but chances are he was heading toward Void City.
