Physical Description
Suave Styles is a smaller-than-average earth pony. His coat is a light grayish-blue. His mane is a light orange, almost brownish, and his eyes are roughly indigo in color. His mane is kept, as one could imagine, styled fairly neatly, though how he can do this himself without a horn to manipulate a brush or comb escapes everyone. He refuses to reveal this secret, as well, though he doesn't consider it that big of a deal.
Despite having found his calling (as far as he knows), he still hasn't gained his cutie mark. He feels it's because he hasn't discovered something about himself.
Weapons
A brush, maybe? He could probably throw it at you, but that's about it.
Abilities/Powers
He has no supernatural abilities, except perhaps the aforementioned self-styling power he seems to have.
Skills
He's got an eye for style. Mane style, in particular. Though having a similar trade to one Rarity, he admires her work in fashion. He's able to use mane styling tools like a brush and bottle of shampoo using his teeth, through careful practice. That's perhaps the hardest part of his desired career!
Personality
If not having his cutie mark by this point of his life has taught him anything, it's that you have to be calm and carefree, no matter what life throws at you. Anypony can get stressed out and break down when a problem arises. His motto is "Keep Calm and Keep the Style." He doesn't even care how lame it is, it's posted on his bedroom door.
He's a very controlled, relaxed, happy pony.
He likes making ponies look good, because that in turn inspires happiness and confidence in them; soft rock music; and pegasus ponies, because he wishes he could fly as well. Dislikes cold wind, Parasprites (don't even ask, it wasn't pretty) and excessiveness.
History
Born in Fillydelphia, Suave was much smaller than his parents expected him to be. Earth ponies were typically stronger than other kinds but he was not. He didn't let that stop him, though (Well, he did, but he got over it).
He looked hard into something he could do that both interested him and would work as a reasonable career choice. He just didn't know what he'd do in his life. A friend of his suggested he take up something more artistic, and he did. He tried painting, singing, writing, but none of it seemed to click with him. He simply gave up for a while.
Soldiering on through life, he started messing around with a hair brush. He found he had a means of brushing his own mane with it. He asked his parents if he could try doing theirs as well, and with a little practice, got really good at it. His mother especially let him sample different kinds of styles on her.
Now he's working on perfecting that craft, determined to finally earn his cutie mark.
