Umbra stood at the summit staring up at the night sky. He grinned menacingly as he lifted his hands up to the sky.
"I call upon the powers of the Eclipse!" he shouted into the night sky ",Blot out all the stars in the night sky, separate us from the power of star spirits above and let no light shine through!"
He began to glow with a strange white aura and strange dark energy shot from his hands and flew towards every star, blotting them out one by one.

"Who turned out the lights?" Beldam asked as the stars went out. Vivian shivered. It was dark... Not good. Despite how the shadows usually made her feel at ease, she was still with Beldam, meaning it was a bad thing. Until she could find a way to seperate herself from her sisters... she was doomed to endure more pain. Marilyn looked confused, but when she spoke, it came out as, "Guh! Guh guh!"

Sensing someone nearby, Umbra upped the power so the process would go faster.

"It doesn't matter. As long as we find Mario, I don't care about the stars!" Beldam said. "But Beldam... what if the presence blotting out the stars finds us an enemy?" Vivian asked. She immediatelty got hit. "Who gave your permission to speak, you bitch?!... Wait... I just thought of something... What if the thing doing this sees us as an enemy? We'd better be careful," Beldam said. "But... I..." Vivian muttered to herself, whimpering at the pain.

Meanwhile, the signature black limo was flying past that had to make am emergency landing on the summit due to the lack of light. "Alright," began the Don "we'll draw straws to see who goes to check out what's going on" Each of the mafia members drew straws, and Ursa drew the shortest. "Get outta here!" commanded the Don as he threw her out to go check it out. The bear noticed the blackened figures of Umbra and the Shadow Sirens, she went to go check it out.

Suddenly in a massive powerful wave of dark energy, the entire sky was completely blackened.
"Finally! Now I can begin to take over this pathetic world!" he laughed.
Unfortunately, he was far from taking over more than Shooting Star Summit, the only area the eclipse covered so far.
Meanwhile, Mario dashed up the mountain in a panic.
There's no way! he thought frantically , This can't be happening again!

Beldam noticed Mario and grinned. "Mwehehehehehe! Look who showed up. Vivian, Marilyn, get ready to fight... And remember, Vivian, if you don't fight, I'll make sure to beat you until you bleed!" Beldam said. Vivian whimpered as she readied herself to fight her friend. Marilyn just readied herself like Beldam did.

Ursa used one of her claws as a flashlight, and saw Mario and the Shadow Sirens before finally asking "OK, what the hell is going on here?"

Geno rushed towards Shooting Star Summit, its current state worrying him on unspeakable levels. On his way, he spotted his fellow comrade. "MARIO!"

Ursa noticed Geno coming up the summit. Ursa became pissed that no one was paying attention to her. She grabbed Mario and held her claw at his throat. "OK! SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON OR FATTY DIES!!!"

Beldam grinned. Ursa had Mario exactly where she wanted him. Vivian gasped and put her hands up, but Marilyn held them down and grabbed her in a tight bear hug that could've crushed her if she tried to do anything that would help Mario. "By all means, go ahead and kill him! Maybe then I can shed a little more light on the situation," Beldam cackled.

"Oh," realized Ursa "There's more evil people here, huh..." She let go of Mario and grabbed Beldam "Alright, NOW somebody tell me what's going on or the old hag gets cut to ribbons!"

Beldam snapped and suddenly lightning struck Ursa, forcing her to let go of Beldam. "Fool! I don't think you know who you're dealing with!" she told Ursa. "N-No... P-Please n-no," Vivian said, seeing Beldam start to pick a fight.

Ursa was mad now. "Bitch, I don't think you know who YOU'RE dealing with" corrected Ursa. She drew all her claws and ran them through Beldam.

Mario heard Geno and ran over to him.
"This is NOT good! Umbra's gonna try and cover the entire kingdom with darkness, again!" he explained ",You weren't there for that adventure though...N-nevermind, we gotta stop him!"
He turned to the Shadow Sirens and Ursa, then to Umbra, then back to Geno.
