Mario would've answered but he was preoccupied with Vivian at the moment.
"I suggest you ignore your plumber friend for now and concentrate on more...important things," Umbra sneered ",Like saving your own life!" He swung his axe in a huge arc.

"M-Mario... I... I-I..." Vivian stuttered, tears coming to her eyes.
"VIVIAN!" Beldam yelled in anger.
"I... I don't know what to do anymore..." Vivian said.
"YOU'RE WEAK VIVIAN!" Beldam yelled as she dodged Ursa. "YOU'RE WEAK! DO AS I SAY NOW!"

A rocket came out of nowhere and stopped the axe. It was the Don. "Nobody causes a commotion over here except us," said the Don. He prepared to charge a shot and fire it at Umbra.

"Huh?" He looked at Vivian. "....I know you. A lot of desperate wishes you've sent up."

"Beldam! Shut the hell up!" Mario snapped at her then turned back to Vivian ",Listen to me, stop this. You can come with us."

Umbra swung his axe and hit the shot causing it to explode. It hurt Umbra a bit but it made an effective smoke screen.
"I didn't have anything to do with the death of your friend! That was that idiot shadow's fault!" Umbra snapped at the Don ",But now I'm angry!" He flew out of the smoke at the Don with his axe ready and made a vertical swing.

"M-Mario," Vivian said.
Beldam made her way to Vivian, noticing her defiance. "Vivian!" Suddenly, a loud crack later, Vivian flew back with blood coming out of nose. The fist Beldam sunk in her face continued to crackle with electricity. Vivian felt her sighed blurring as her eyes softly closed.

"She's mine, puppet boy" said Leo stopping Geno's punch. He looked toward Ursa. "Why don't you go see if she's OK" He slashed Beldam.

Don Parroto shot a missile at Umbra's axe. In the smoke following the explosion, he jumped behind Umbra and struck him on the back of the head.

Beldam put her hands up to block Geno's punch, but Leo's blade caught her off guard and she had to take time to grab the wound. Marilyn instantly went to defend Beldam as she attempted to body slam Leo. Vivian passed out on the ground.

Right before Marilyn body slammed him, Leo sidestepped and impaled Marilyn. NT9 transformed back into his usual self and shot liquid kerosene onto both Beldam and Marilyn.

Marilyn's human body was impaled, so she fled the body and became her true self, shifting into the shadows to dodge the liquid kerosene. Beldam, however, in her human form, could not, so she was hit.
