Sheogorath stood in the courtyard of his palace New Sheoth, looking around at the happy and colorful sky, glittered with stars and galaxies still seen, despite the time of day, which was afternoon. He took his staff of control weather and aimed it for the sky, thus seconds later, resulting in clouds forming together, thickening, and darkening, and then rain.
"Hehehehe, never ceases to amuse me," Sheogorath said. He took the knot out of his hair, which fell past his shoulders, and held his arms out as the rain fell onto him, gleefully dancing around the icy, cold droplets of rain.
When he headed inside he sat back down on his throne and sighed.
"Haskill..."
"Yes, what can I do for you?"
"I would love you to re-open the gates to our realm. Wouldn't you?"
"Oh yes, nothing is such a thrill as that," Haskill said in a bored voice.
"Then it shall be done," Shegorath said before he cast his other staff with a strange ritual.
"Korad orophani dilo kenkadenfi fiel nendo senfil!"
And... the gates to the shivering isles are open...

Rumors travelled quickly in Cyrodiil. Rolland could scarcely believe how fast they travelled. But sometimes rumors didn't have to travel for you to see something. Sometimes you would just be praying in the chapel one minute and then you would hear screaming the next. Grabbing a sword from the side quickly, he ran outside to see his fellow Knights of the Nine staring at a chaotic looking portal. The portal's magic caused a bit of landscape around the area of the portal to change; the grass became a weird color and foreign plants grew next to it. Rolland's orders were clear; stay at the Priory of the Nine and defend it against whatever might come out. He was gonna go in and see what could be in there.
After equipping his armor from the Priory Undercroft, now clad in full Divine Crusader arnaments, he made his way out of the Priory and towards the portal. As he entered, he felt that same out of body experience he had felt before when travelling through the other portals into Mehrunes Dagon's plane of Oblivion. However, instead of seeing a barren demonic wasteland of fire and brimstone, he found himself in a small room. A Breton was sitting on the other side of the desk. Rolland, out of curiosity, sat down and looked at the Breton. "What is going on here?" he said.

"Hello there, Redguard. I see you're here about the door to the shivering isles, have a seat," Haskill said. "Master Sheogorath wishes to see you, if you're willing," Haskill said in tired and bored-like voice.

"Sheogorath?" Rolland's grip on his sword tightened almost immediately. "What does the Daedric Prince of Madness wish to do with a faithful servent of the Nine such as myself? Certainly he realizes that I am one of his mortal enemies... or is it because he is the Daedric Prince of Madness that he calls upon me?"

"He wishes to mess with a mortal, either by making you a slave for entertainment or killing you for fun. He would be most pleased with you since you're a servant of the nine. Are you... willing to take a challenge? If so, first thing first, you'd have to get rid of the gate keeper that guards the shivering isles..."

"Then he will have to look elsewhere, won't he? I serve the Nine Divines and I will not serve a sworn enemy of them. The Madgod, as he so calls himself, will have to play his chaotic games with another; I refuse to take part of it," Rolland said, standing up and making to leave.

"As you wish. If you ever change your mind, come back and notify me, I'll be right here," Haskill replied.
