A Relaxing Day at the Beach? (part 2)

Mario stepped into his appartment followed by Jack, Kat, Albel and Fayt.

"Well, it isn't much and I'm not sure how much room I have, but it'll do," Mario gestured for them to step in.

[Tharu]

Albel walks in after Mario, Fayt shyly following him, both boys looking around. "Wow...This is.....Small..." Albel coments.

[Kat]

Jack immidiatly ran over and plopped down on the couch with a comfortable sigh. "Finally, somewhere livable..." He sighed. Kat walked in a bit farther and just looked around, standing in one place. "It's not like we've been roughing it out in the wilderness for a while...just a few hours." She glared over at Jack, who stuck his tongue out in reply.

She looked around and eyed Mario. "Hey...wasn't Link coming? Or did we lose him?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

Link ran in after them.

"Whew! Sorry, I got sidetracked for a second," he replied, wandering over to the couch too and sitting down.

"Well, sorry if there isn't much space, but we'll just have to make do with what we can," Mario sighed ", I'm not sure if my bro's here or not but I guess that's for the better, considering the amount of room we have here. Bro!"

The boys look over as Link comes in, and Fayt smiles at him before the boys go back to looking around.
"Mario said this is where he lives? Its so small..." Albel says to his brother as they check out the apartment.
"Maybe its the foyer?" Fayt suggests to his brother.
"it probably is." Albel says like he knows what he's talking about. "...But it sure is a small Foyer..."

[Kat]

Kat walked over and sat between Jack and Link, crossing her legs and looked around slowly. "Mmhmm...well, looks like we might be stuck here for a while. Might as well get a friggin' apartment..." She grumbled and glared at Jack.

He twitched. "...I SAID IT WASN'T MY FAULT!" He flailed a bit, only to get an eye roll and groan from Kat in response.

"Hehe...yeah. Albel, this is pretty much the living room and kitchen in one room, then there's a bedroom and a bathroom," Mario explained ", It's pretty small, but this is also only an appartment. My real house is back in the Mushroom Kingdom anyway."

[Tharu]

Both boys turn to face Mario, Eyes wide on on hearing that this is almost all the place.

"But...But..."

"My room is bigger then this! Fay's too!" Albel continues what Fayt had started saying.

[Kat]

Kat looked over at Mario. "Yeah, we figured as much." She snickered. "Mmhmm...here." Jack pulled out a game system from his helipack and plopped it on Kat's lap, along with a few controllers. "Never leave home without it." He grinned.

"....yeeeeaah." She narrowed her eyes and then looked over at Mario. "Got a tv anywhere?" She asked, waving the game at them.

"Yep! Right there," Mario pointed at the nearby tv.

"What game are you going to play?" Link asked.

(Oh boy, here we go XD)

[Kat]

Jack jumped up and quickly plugged everything in and turned it on, hopping back on the couch with a controller for himself and Kat

"Ohhh just the Smash Bros game. That way we can show you that you all are characters in our world." She grinned as she hit the start button and scrolled through, selecting the appropriate settings.

"HEEY Why Can't I do that?" Jack whinned, dropping his controller onto his lap.

"Because I'm more awesome than you, that's why." She replied quietly, now at the screen where you select your character.

Jack snickered and selected Captain Falcon while Kat selected Link. "See; you can change your all's coloring of clothing and junk." She demonstrated, chosing Link's black clothes. "Dodedoo..." She sighed and hit the start button, a stage selected at random.

"Hey, What is all this?!" Albel asks as The Video Game system is set up the started.

"Isn't at you Mr. Link?" Fayt asks going over to the TV and touching the picture of Link, Jumping back a little when his finger hits the glass.

[Kat]

Kat nodded, hitting the buttons in combos and kicking Jack's ass. "Mmhmm...that's him..." She muttered, narrowing her eyes at the screen.

Jack twisted and turned in his seat, moving the controller as well. "Come ooon FALCON!" He hissed, getting a poison mushroom. "NO!!" He yelled as his character shrunk on the screen.

"Faaaaaail..." Kat snorted, hitting a few buttons making the Link on the screen pick up Falcon and throw him up in the air, slashing his sword up and 'killing' him. "SCORE ONE FOR MEEE."

Link stared blankly at the screen along with Mario. They weren't sure what to make of it. They knew that they had joined SSB and that it was popular, but neither of them knew that there was a game for it.

"Er...um...when did this come out?" Mario asked, still quite confused.

[Kat]

Kat didn't glance at them, but answered them just the same. "A few years ago, back in our dimension and whatnot." She muttered. "They have a better one out now for another game system called Brawl. I haven't played it yet, but it looks really awesome." She murmured. "...NonononoNONONOOOO AUUUGH!" She yelled as Jack killed her. "Bastard." She grinned over at him, battling again.

"I can't help being awesome." He snickered.

"No, you're just lucky..."
