Twisting, turning, down the dark ally ways of void city he ran. What was chasing him was anyone's guess. They were definitely not human and appeared to be some type of floating robotic probe type things. All he could do for the moment was run though.
Saki Amamiya knew he couldn't turn and face his enemies. If he kept running forward and tried to turn and shoot, he'd likely run into a wall and that'd be no good with his current position.
"Dammit..." he groaned ", Don't got a clue who or what these guys are and I can't even take them on..."
Suddenly another robot appeared in front of him.
"Shit!"

However, this robot was soon shoved into the ground by a spinning orange tornado. This whirling dervish continued in a blur in random directions, miraculously missing Saki, but catching a few robots in its path.
"Which one of you did it!?!?" a scream came from the blur, terrifiying the robots to no end. "Somebody here is responsible for the death of my dear taco stand and I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT!!!!"

Saki stopped short and covered his face with his arms. When the blur flew by him he turned around again to face whatever it was.
"What the..." he pointed his gun in it's direction in case it came back and attacked him as well ", Who or what are you?"

As the remaining robots ran.. er, floated away screaming in terror, the whirlwand came to a gradual stop. The mutant bandicoot that was in the middle of it huffed and wheezed, looking quite irate.
He then paused, stood up straight in realization, then dropped to his knees and began to sob.
"What have I BECOME!?!" he lamented. "This taco depravity has turned me into a monster...!!"

"Monster?" asked Ironside Pirates navigator Matsuura Takanobu, dropping down from a roof and destroying the fleeing robots with his giant scorpion tail. As he hit the ground, he returned to his full human form.

The bandicoot sniffled, rubbing his nose in an unattractive messy fashion before looking up at Saki.
"...I'm a tormented soul without a taco in hand...!"

"Oh, that makes you worthless to us then." said Takanobu. "You too... girl?" he said in reference to Saki. "I think I will just leave. But not yet."

"A...taco?" Saki just stared, confused at the bandicoot ", Sh-should I find you one?"
Saki turned to Takanobu.
"Excuse me...I'm a man thankyou..."
