((This is an open RP, and hopefully the first Koops introducing one to actually kick off finally. Also, Saturn might show up in this one.)) A young Koopa--somewhere in his late teens--settled down in one of the park benches. Koops finally found a nice, quiet area of the park to start studying for next semester. In his hands was Maintaining Diplomacy, a book he'd just purchased from the college bookstore. Now maybe he'd get some studying done without interruption.((Durrhurr...)) |

"Attention people of Void City!" A rather loud male voice came shouting across the park over what sounded like some sort of loudspeaker ", Portal Park will officially be occupied by the X-Nauts in a few moments for the construction of our new research facility! We suggest you pack up your things and leave or else you may end up either dead or a guinea pig for our experiments!"
There was another strange noise and an "ouch" and he continued to speak.
"Ahem! I mean, we will have to move you ourselves and you won't like it! Crump out!"
Meanwhile, another man had walked up nearby where Koops was sitting. He was rather well built, had long black hair, a handle-bar mustache and was smoking a cigarette.
"Dammit...what idiot's trying to take this place over now?" Jesse sighed as he took a puff of his cig.

Koops moaned, closing his book. It never failed... just as he got settled down somewhere on this strange island, something crazy happened. What's more the X-Nauts?! Didn't those guys pretty much quit when their leader got a head of himself?
He chuckled slightly to himself at his own joke as he slipped his book away. He was about to get up when he saw Jesse. Overhearing his words, he cocked an eyebrow and said, "So, you heard the attack of the chumps too, huh? ...thing is, I thought those guys disbanded months ago," he mused.

Without looking at him he replied ", Course I can hear them...wouldn't be surprised if the whole damn island can..." He finally turned to look at Koops with another puff of his cigarette. He was shocked to see what appeared to be a giant...turtle like kid. Unsure of what to make of it, he decided to blow it off. He'd seen enough weird things already since he came here.
"So you know who these guys are then?" he asked.

Koops nodded. "X-Nauts... They're a secret alien society that tried unleashing the thousand-year-old soul of a demon to take over our world with. But let's just say... she turned out to be too much for their leader to handle." ((Speaking of Thousand-Year Door, I've had a "where are they now?" idea for the Crystal Stars. Also, later on in the RP, think we could figure out how to squeeze this guy in as working for the X-Nauts?)) |

Jesse stared at him with a look of...almost disbelief. He wasn't sure how much sense that made but he decided it was best to just go along with it.
"I uh...see..." he looked back in the direction the voice came from ", So what now? Are they actually a threat or..."
"Alright! If you're still here then too bad for you!" Crump's voice cut him off ", This park is now property of the X-Nauts!!"
"Dammit..." Jesse groaned as he could hear the faint sounds of some sort of vehicles coming their way.

Koops stood up in surprise. "That sounds like... Crump? But... he got flung into the next galaxy..." he said, sounding a little confused.

"Sir Grodus' second in command," Koops explained, looking around. "He's kinda dumb, but he's still pretty tough. Still, my friends and I have managed to beat him a few times, even with his Mangus Von Grapple thing."
Eventually, his vision came in contact with a number of vehicles. Given the Xs that were on them, it was easy to guess who they were.
((Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're going to have Xs on them, since everything else they make does.))

"Don't know Grodus is but I already don't like this guy," he replied, puffing his cigarette ", I hope they're weaker then I think...but that's a lot of damn firepower they got compared to us."
They waited a few minutes until the line of strange vehicles stopped twenty feet from them. From the top hatch of the one facing them, a short pudgy man with goggles, a purple helmet and a red fringe that covered his face.
"Yo, dorks! Get out of the way or I'll run you over!" Crump shouted.
Jesse turned to Koops. "I sure hope you're tough kid..."

"Hey, Lord Chump!" Koops yelled back. "Didn't you guys give up after the Shadow Queen nearly blew up your boss?!"
To be honest, he wasn't sure how well they'd fare against the vehicles either. But they couldn't be all that tougher to beat than the Mangus Von Grapples were... could they?

Crump was silent for a moment and looked as though he were in thought.
"...YOU!" he finally shouted, recognizing the young koopa ", You were with that mustached freak, Mario weren't you!?"
Jesse had no idea what to make of this so he kept silent for now.

"Mario's no freak, he's a hero!" countered Koops. "And he did manage to beat you, um..." He recalled their multiple encounters with him, counting them out, only remembering to include that one incident at Rogueport harbor before Mario and Koops even met last minute. "...four times!"

"WhatEVER!" Crump argued ", You're not him now are ya!? Little punk! I'll squash you!" Finally he noticed Jesse. "Who the heck are you and what are you still doing here?"
"Call me Inferno," he replied with his...well I guess you could call it a code name of sorts ", and I'm here to relax, or rather I was until you and your flunkies showed up."
"Oh what, you gonna cause me trouble too?"
"If I find it necessary..."

Koops just glanced between Crump and... Inferno, did he call himself?... wondering, if something was gonna go down, which of the three of them would start it... ((Hey, you mind describing these vehicles, so I know where the best place would be for Koops to attack when fighting does start? P.S.
