((This shall be between myself and FelixFalora unless permission is granted by one of us for you to join via PM.))
Hunny pouted in a diabetes-inducingly adorable way as he walked down one of the numerous hallways of the mall, head turning this way and that to take in the sights. His chocolate brown eyes were wide in a mixture of wonder and confusion, a small, rare frown playing upon his lips. Normally when in a place like this, he would be cheerfully skipping alongside his friends in the Host Club as they did some shopping. However, Hunny only had Bun-Bun with him, whom he hugged tightly to his chest as if afraid he would lose her as well. Not even Mori, rarely absent from his side, was nearby.
He wasn't scared of being alone in such a place, seeing as contrary to his looks, he could handle himself just fine. It was mainly the strange absence of Hunny's fellow Host Club members that unnerved him; that, and the fact that he'd basically stumbled into this place via a strange portal. One moment, he'd been happily eating a slice of his favorite strawberry shortcake in the music room; the next, he found himself standing in the crowded walkway of a shopping center. Sighing to himself, his body drooped a little and he hopped onto a metal bench set into the left wall for tired shoppers to rest on. There Hunny sat, swinging his legs and staring a little dejectedly at the ground as he stubbornly clutched Bun-Bun to his chest.
"I don't know what happened, or where I am, or who these people are and why some of them look so strange.... but that's okay! So long as the others are all right, then it's not so bad~" he comforted himself, managing a cute smile.

No one would mistake him for a girl. No one ever did. But nobody could deny that when Momiji skipped down the occasional hallways of the mall, wearing a blouse and a bonnet that just screamed dress-up in every sense of the world, fanatics of cute people and cute things would most likely melt. Not to mention he had bought himself a little rabbit plushie to make up for the loss of his friends like Tohru, Yuki, and Hatsuharu... well, not loss so much as he didn't know how to get back home to them or if they'd be able to find him. So he pretty much considered himself a fish out of water for the moment and decided to make the most of it... then Akito had found him and he realized how screwed he was if he didn't hide.
He had tried making new friends in this world. It has started with a blue haired boy whose name he did not know. That boy, however, had eventually left him. Now he was involved with some guy named Ryoji. Then there was Firion and Terra, but that mean clown, Kefka, had come... and thus Momiji had been left alone again. When Akito had found him, he was forced back into servitude at the Sohma house. His being able to walk free was from Akito's grace. And even though he walked with a smile on his face, he was sad inside. All of these people were free, every last one of them, and he was no longer free. He was back where he began, the rabbit of the Zodiac... worthless... only allowed to exist by Akito's will.
His thoughts led him to bump into someone and he fell, almost comically, to the ground. "Oh! S-Sorry!" Momiji immediately picked himself up and looked at the person with a soft smile... it was almost like looking in a mirror. Both were the same size, blonde, with honey brown eyes. But where Momiji's hair was a little messy, often hidden by bonnets or other cute hair accessories, and he himself wore girl's clothing, this body double of had well kept hair and seemed to wear what looked like a school uniform, a boy's school uniform at that... a nice one too. Momiji thoughts now wandered to the uniform, that if his school's boy's uniform had looked like that, he might've taken it over the girl's. But what really caught his attention was that the boy was holding a rabbit plushie that looked just like his. "Eh? You have a bun bun too?" Momiji asked him.

Hunny was torn from his thoughts by someone running into his legs, nearly knocking him completely off the bench he'd been sitting on. Luckily, all the force did was swing him around so that his back hit the seat, Bun-Bun still clutched tightly in his arms as he let out a cute "oof." Blinking rapidly in surprise and wonder, he swung himself back into a sitting position as cries of "sorry" reached his ears. The voice sounded young and high-pitched, a lot like his own actually, prodding Hunny's insatiable curiosity all the more. When he finally turned his head to look at his accidental attacker, his mouth fell open slightly in shock and his already large eyes widened impossibly.
It was as if he'd looked in a mirror and his reflection had come to life, albeit slightly twisted and wearing a much different outfit than his own. Same blond hair- though slightly more messy, same brown eyes, same small stature; he even had Hunny's precious Bun-Bun! Stunned, he had to admit that he almost mistook his clone to be female in such an outfit, but after cosplaying for so long caught the masculine features beneath the clothing. Shaking his head, he forced himself out of his reverie in time to hear the other boy's exclamation, one he'd have made given a little more time. Still a little taken aback, Hunny shoved the feeling away and offered his almost-twin a broad smile, nuzzling his own Bun-Bun with his cheek.
"Yup! I've had Bun-Bun for a long, long time! I never let her out of my sight, not ever. I didn't know she had a sister, though. Or that anyone looked like me. Or is that how this funny place works? Are there lots of people who look like other people, or is it just you and me?" He rambled a bit, falling significantly off-topic the more he talked, his gaze revolving from Bun-Bun to the boy to the boy's bun bun to the crowd at random. "And.... oh! Whoops, I almost forgot! I should introduce myself." Hopping off of the bench, he turned to fully face his clone and smiled again. "My name is Mitsukuni Haninozuka! What's yours?"

Momiji giggled. This body double of his was extremely cute, the way he was rambling on about things. "Yeah, there are loads of lookalikes here," Momiji said. "Like there's a girl that looks like my friend Tohru-chan, only she's nothing like her... She's mean." Momiji said this with a pout, but seemed to instantly brighten up again when Hunny introduced himself. "Haninozuka... Hani-chan for short, or maybe even Mitsu-chan. My name's Momiji Sohma... Momi-chan for short." He smiled, but then the cellphone inside his shirt pocket began to ring. He frowned, recognizing the ringtone immediately, and picked it up. "Yes Akito-sama? ... ... ... Ok... ... ... Ok... Alright." He then closed the phone and looked at Hani with a soft smile. The smile said everything would be alright.
His eyes said he didn't want to go back to that hellhole where Akito would be waiting to "remind him of his worthless existance."
"S-Sorry Hani-chan. My cousin needs to see me. It's something important." Akito and Momiji were related, sure, but no one knew how really. All they knew is that Akito was their master and... he was God to them. They had to listen to him thanks to the bond. "Maybe I'll see you later."

Hunny found Momiji cute as well, though he could tell that his adorable exterior hid something the same way his own did. However, he was pretty sure it wasn't strength in martial arts- maybe something more intellectual? Shrugging it off for the moment, he tucked it away into the back of his mind so that he wouldn't completely forget about it, feeling it might be important in the future. "I wonder if there's anyone who looks like Haru-chan.... or Takashi...." Hunny mumbled into Bun-Bun's soft, pink ears, thinking of how comforting it would be to see a familiar face, even if it wasn't who it looked like.
His head bounced back up so that brown met brown at the names and nicknames, ever-present smile quickly returning to his face. "Okay! I like that nickname! Yours too, Momi-chan~ You can just call me Hani-chan if you really want to, though everyone I know likes calling me Hunny," he explained happily. Hunny was glad and excited to meet a friendly face in this strange place, someone he easily felt comfortable around. He blinked at the sudden ringing, then watched his new friend talk into the cellphone as he swung back and forth a bit. He'd always had problems standing still, though that didn't mean he wasn't paying attention to Momiji's conversation and expression.
Hunny can't suppress the adorable pout that sprouts upon his lips as Momiji's attention finally returns to him, burying the lower half of his face once more into Bun-Bun. "It's okay, Momi-chan...." However, just as he is about to turn away, an idea strikes him and he grins, whirling back around to face his new friend. "Hey! I have an idea! Why don't I go with you? Please? I'll even wait outside while you talk to your cousin if it's secret~ Promise!! Then, maybe we can hang out together some more!" He hugs Bun-Bun tightly, giving Momiji the best puppy eyes he can muster even though the other has probably done the same.

Akito... Though he would never admit or show it, Momiji utterly despised Akito. That selfish little bastard controlled all of the Sohmas and made their lives a living Hell. But even then, he knew he had it easy. Poor Kyo. The cat was a living testament to birth gone wrong. Each and every day he would have to suffer because he was born. Only Tohru cared about his existance. His mother was dead, his father hated him, Akito viewed him as a monster, and the other Sohmas, even Momiji himself, he had to admit, were guilty of viewing Kyo as a sort of pitiful creature that they would look at and then think to themselves, "Thank goodness I'm not the cat because I am more free then him at the very least."
But then Hani, Honey, Hunny, however it was pronounced, (and it was there that Momiji decided to stick to calling him Mitsu-chan), asked to come with him. Momiji's first instinct was to tell him no. He knew what Akito was capable of. Hatori had nearly lost the use of his eye over his lover, who then had to have her mind wiped because Akito would not allow their marraige. Kisa was beaten because Hiro had fallen in love with her. But it wasn't just love either. Akito used and attacked Tohru as well, just because she was becoming friends with the Sohmas. It wasn't fair because he could've just as well ordered her mind erased, so why did he attack her when he let her remember the Sohmas in the first place?
But Momiji didn't want to say no. He knew he wanted Hunny to come with him. He didn't want to face Akito alone. So he decided on the middle approach. "I-I'd like it if you'd walk me to the hotel he's staying at, yes, but... I can't let you come in. I'm sorry, it's a family issue." Oh how he'd love to share his secret with Hunny. He would've loved to tell someone, anyone, about the Sohma family curse, being kept prisoner by Akito, all of it. But he didn't want Hunny to suffer that kind of fate. So he kept quiet about it. He silently turned around and clutched his bunny close to him. He didn't want to look at Hunny like this. He didn't want to look like this in front of anyone. He felt afraid, even if he didn't shot it. Fear was there... and it had a tight grip.

If Momiji ever did tell Hunny his secret, he would take it in stride and instantly jump to support the Zodiac boy. Though his problems and the ones faced by his friends weren't nearly as bad, they had still shown in a similar light, and they had supported each other. He may have only just met this slightly distorted version of himself, but he already considered him to be a friend, and that gave him the same support as anyone in the Host Club. Though Momiji was worried, perhaps he'd feel more confident in trusting Hunny with his secret when he got the chance to see his true strength, if the time ever came. He could take care of himself and Momiji easily, and even now wouldn't hesitate to defend the other.
Though he was a little sad that he couldn't stay by his new friend the entire time, he was happy that they didn't have to separate yet. "Okay! Don't worry about it, Momi-chan~ I understand. I'll wait outside with Bun-Bun while you talk to your cousin, and then we can have fun!" Hunny cheered with glee, grin nearly splitting his face as he gave said plush a healthy squeeze. Besides, like the other members of the Host Club, he knew what it was like to have family issues. He could respect Momiji's privacy, but couldn't suppress the feeling of concern and worry for his new friend.
The other was acting strangely, obviously afraid and nervous though he tried to hide it. Hunny wasn't as smart as Kyouya or Tamaki or Haruhi, but he was very observant; the skill had been honed during his martial arts training, forcing him to read the atmosphere during battle. Momiji's deep fear was as clear as day to his trained eyes, but he decided not to say anything for now and just to keep his eyes open for anything suspicious. In the meantime, he decided to try and comfort the slighter leaner boy, grabbing his hand and holding Bun-Bun to his chest in the crook of his other arm. "Come on, Momi-chan~ Let's go see your cousin!" Hunny chirped, tugging lightly on the hand as he started forward, not even sure if this was the right direction.

Momiji kinda hesitated when the boy tugged on his arm, wondering how he would save face when he left him there to go speak to Akito... Go speak indeed. Akito would most likely just give him one of those speeches that he gave when he was upset. He sounded upset over the phone. Perhaps Shigure was messing with him again. Come to think of it, was Akito able to keep in touch with anyone else in the Sohma family? Momiji could ask, but he was afraid to. He didn't want Akito to think he was getting close to anybody. If that happened, they would suffer on his behalf. He could take the pain himself, but he didn't want anyone else he cared about to have to suffer in his place. That would be worse then death itsself to the little bunny rabbit.
(I appologize for the powerplaying.)
But walk he did, and as they walked towards the hotel, Momiji and Hunny talked. It was mostly small talk, since they had just met, after all, nothing severely personal. Both of them found out that they liked some of the same things. Bunny rabbits, sweet foods, cosplaying to a certain degree (Momiji may have crossdressed for fun, but Hunny did not), and even discussed some of their friends. Hunny compared Mori to Hatori. Both were tall, silent, and seemed intelligent. Yet for Mori to be into kendo also made him seem different from the doctor of the Sohma family, but there was no one there that was into kendo that Momiji knew about, so he couldn't make comparisons there. Tamaki... definently comparable to Ayame. Kaoru and Hikaru... Momiji didn't know anyone mischievious in Sohma family, save for himself on some occasions. And then Haruhi... she seemed like a combination between Hiro, according to Hunny calling her blunt at times, and Hatori for her intelligence.
Both of them left out their family secrets. Hunny did mention the Ouran Host Club, to which Momiji looked interested. A big school like that sounded like it would be fun. Momiji could've went to a bigger school himself, but that wouldn't have been as fun. After all, Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo wouldn't have been able to go, so there was no point. Not to mention Hatsuharu also went to school with him. Thanks to that, he had fun at school each and every day. It wouldn't have been the same anywhere else. But Hunny had his friends at school with him in a bigger school, so he probably had lots more fun, especially since he got to participate in a club activity and be as cute as he wanted. Naturally, considering the family aspects of it, Hunny didn't bother to tell Momiji he was also former Karate captain.
The conversing ended when they reached the hotel. Momiji looked at the big building and sighed. Akito was waiting for him at the top floor. He looked at Hunny and smiled. But though he was smiling, his eyes were begging for help and salvation. He didn't want to go. He just had to. "Thanks for walking me here... guess this is where we part ways. Maybe I'll see you again." With that, Momiji gave Hunny a cute wave, the eyes boring into his, and then ran off into the hotel. His primary focus was on making it to Akito as fast as possible so that he wasn't mad. That would keep his focus on just that, allowing Hunny to... sneak in and follow stealthily if he wanted to.

((Lol, I'll let it slide. It would have been pretty slow.))
Hunny wondered if this is what Hikaru and Kaoru felt like, having someone with so many of the same interests, someone who acted almost exactly the same. Certainly, Hunny didn't crossdress or have such a big family, and Momiji wasn't rich and didn't attend a large boarding school. But compared to their numerous similarities, these miniscule differences hardly meant much. Even better, Hunny was sure that if both sides were to meet, they would get along- after a bit of squabbling, of course. The thought made him smile, though the pleasant feelings were quickly dampened by Momiji's abrupt change in mood as they reached the hotel.
His own brown eyes followed his twin's gaze up the tall building before snapping back so that the two met, waves of fear and silent cries for help hitting him like an ocean wave. Hunny barely stopped himself from frowning, so as not to worry Momiji and make him suspicious that he could possibly see through the fake smile. "You're welcome, Momi-chan! See you later! Have fun talking to your cousin~," he called as the other ran off. Finally allowing himself a small frown, he waited for only a few seconds before quietly dashing after his fellow blond.
Hunny's training had made him light and quiet on his feet, but even if he'd been loud, he doubted Momiji would have heard. The boy's terror was blinding him to all else, making him easy to tail all the way to where he guessed his cousin was currently staying. Ducking behind a potted plant, he waited until his friend had entered before moving to the door and silently pressing his ear to the wood.

Momiji walked over slowly to the man sitting on the center of the floor, facing away from him. There he was, with black hair, effeminate features, and an aura of pure evil resonating around him. Akito... how disgusting Momiji found him, but he would not say anything to him. He could not. The bond that kept the Sohma family obeying Akito would not allow it. So Momiji just gulped softly and put on his best smile. "A-Akito-sama... I'm here," he said.
"You're late. I gave you an hour's freedom, but you were instructed to come right back here when you were done... what were you doing in all that time?" Akito asked. His voice was snake-like, venemous to the ear, and Momiji shivered under its hold, but kept himself focused. He had to try and keep cool or else the punishment would come worse. He knew he was probably going to get hit. He didn't mind.
"I... met someone at the mall." Momiji was not going to give names. Akito WAS rich, even if he didn't spare too many funds for the Sohma family, having them save most of their money for college expenses. If he wanted to, he could have Hunny traced down and brought forth... though neither knew that Hunny could take out the force the same way he utterly oblitered Kyouya's private police or the Green Berets at a U.S. training camp. "He was nice, so I thought I'd talk to him. That's why I was..."
"How cute... you still think you can make friends, I see," Akito said.
Momiji gulped. "I'm not afraid of you. I can make friends... I have that righ..."
While Momiji was speak, Akito had stood up. And then, in the blink of an eye, he spun around and backhanded Momiji across the face. A loud crack resonated through the room, even past the door, and Momiji hit the ground due to the force of the slap. "DON'T BACKTALK ME, YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Such was Akito's nature. Dominative, uncaring, and violent. His yells faded, however, as he smirked and bent over Momiji's shivering body, speaking in a purr. "If he were to ever find out about the true you, he would hate you all the same. Everyone would. After all, who would love a monster? Your mother didn't. Your father doesn't." He grinned. "I'm the only one who'll be there for you."

Hunny wasn't able to hear much through the door, mainly because of how softly Akito was speaking and how quietly Momiji was. He caught snippets of each sentence, half of which weren't important or all that helpful. Something about being late and freedom, Momiji mentioning him, something about friends and being afraid. However, Hunny heard the sudden slap loud and clear, recognizing the sound of flesh against flesh with ease. The thump of something small and light hitting the floor a second later only confirmed his suspicions, and his eyes narrowed dangerously.
He backed up, able to hear Akito's yell with ease, and it only made his eyes narrow even more. Growling slightly, Hunny kicked the door open, not even caring if it had been unlocked as it swung around and slammed into the wall hard enough to leave several large cracks. All he needed to see was Momiji lying on the floor with Akito bent over him to fully set him off, not even pausing to set Bun-Bun down as he charged at the taller man. "LEAVE MOMI-CHAN ALONE, YOU BIG MEANIE!!!" he shouted, eyes flashing with the maturity of his age. As soon as he was within grabbing distance, Hunny dropped Bun-Bun beside Momiji where he knew she'd be safe and grasped Akito's lower arm with one hand while his other clamped onto the man's upper arm.
Without another sound, he easily flipped Akito in a large arc over his head, slamming the body into the ground bellydown. Not wasting a second, he twisted the arm around and straddled his opponent's back, effectively pinning him. "Hmph! Serves you right! Momi-chan, Momi-chan, are you okay?!"

Momiji was on the verge of tears when the door burst open and a little figure was charging at them with a yell that sounded familiar to the little blonde. Akito had turned the minute the door had burst open and thought he saw another Momiji charging him, but it couldn't have been because this "copy" had a fire in his eyes uncharacteristic to the peaceful nature of his little bunny. And, sure enough, the boy with fire in his eyes had proven himself a different man when he tossed his toy rabbit to the side, near Momiji, and grabbed Akito, slamming him to the ground. The already frail "God" went to let out a cry, but Hunny had managed to silence him by pinning him down. He had been beaten by what looked like a grade-schooler... yet something about him made him seem older.
"M-Mitsu-chan," Momiji stuttered. "Wh-What are you...?"
"Off me you brat!" Akito yelled, aiming to attack Hunny, but was surprised when his arm was deflected and slammed back down. (Sorry for the minor powerplay again, but me thinks Akito would not be able to hit him) Akito growled dangerously, an intimidating growl to one such as Momiji, but it would most likely make someone like Hunny laugh in amusement. "Who the hell do you think you are, you punk? Momiji's friend? Hah! You don't even know what Momiji is, so how can you claim to be his friend?!"
N-No, Momiji thought. He felt sick now. Akito wasn't going to try and drive away his only friend, was he?
"Well... go on, Momiji. Show your little friend here what you're really like."
And sure enough, thanks to the power of the bond between God and his servents, Momiji seemed to explode in a cloud of pink smoke. But when it cleared, Momiji's clothes were scattered and a yellow-furred bunny with scarlet eyes stood there in its place. The bunny looked petrified while Akito giggled.
"See? Look at him, you little brat. He's not like you or anyone else. He's a monster. His own parents thought so. They abandoned him and left him in my care. That's why he belongs to me. Repulsive, isn't it, that something like him exists?" Akito said. He underestimated Hunny's personality. He thought the shotaloli boy would actually give a damn about Momiji's curse.

Hunny had opened his mouth to reply to Momiji when Akito yelled, unsurprisingly pissed about being pinned to the floor by someone less than half his size and younger than himself. He didn't even need to look at the man to block his weak and obvious punch, which wouldn't have even knocked him off had it managed to make contact. Sending his friend a reassuring smile, he finally returned his gaze to the frail person beneath him as what he guessed was supposed to be an intimidating growl reached his ears. It didn't phase Hunny in the slightest, and he merely tightened his one-handed hold on Akito's wrist as the man spoke. "My name is Mitsukuni Haninozuka! I'm Momi-chan's friend, and that means I'm not going to just let someone hurt him! Even if it's his cousin," he snapped, voice still cute but sharpened to an assertive edge.
However, he couldn't stop himself from raising a blond brow in slight confusion and curiosity at the accusation of not knowing what Momiji was. "What do you mean? He's just a normal boy, right? Momi-chan??" Hunny asked, looking over at Momiji with a slight frown and his brow furrowed in obvious puzzlement. Then, right before his very eyes, the other boy was surrounded by a cloud of pink smoke as if in reaction to Akito's statement. His brown orbs widened in astonishment as the smoke cleared to reveal his friend's clothes in a pile and a yellow rabbit with red eyes that looked absolutely petrified to be there.
"M-Momi-chan? Is that you?" Hunny questioned, gawking at the bunny but listening carefully to everything Akito was telling him with the hope that some explanation would be supplied. When none came and all he heard was ridicule, his face darkened again to the expression it had held earlier and his grip on the man's elbow became painful. "Shut up! How can you talk that way about your own family?! Even if you're just cousins, you're supposed to care for him! Not hurt him! I don't really know what's going on or how that happened, but no one talks bad about and hurts my friends!" he snapped fiercely.
Without hesitation, Hunny decided to show just how serious he was and to hopefully teach Akito a lesson so that he'd turn Momiji back. With one harsh twist and tug, two sounds filled the air and mingled with one another: a pop and a crack. The popping sound came from Akito's right shoulder dislocating from the socket, and the cracking noise was the result of the bones that connected his upper and lower arm to his elbow breaking. "Now turn him back before I break your other arm! I mean it...." Hunny growled, descending into a very frightening tone of voice and expression usually saved for when he woke from a nap before he wanted to.

Momiji watched in terror at Hunny's rampage. He didn't think the little boy would be capable of this. Sure he seemed manlier then Momiji, but he had assumed he was peaceful as well. Perhaps it was because he was older, a Senior as he said before. Did that mean that he experienced some bad things that drove him to violence? But he wasn't allowed to think about that as he heard a snap and Akito scream in pain. As much as he hated the bastard, not even Momiji could stand this. "Stop it!" Momiji cried. He hated violence. He knew it was necessary sometimes, but the breaking of Akito's arm was pure overkill. He wouldn't hate Hunny for it, but it was scaring him. "Mitsu-chan, this is the family secret, I...!"
"SHUT UP!" Akito roared. He was chuckling now. Apparantly, after screaming, he must've felt a little touched in the head. "Cousins? You're sorely mistaken. Since Momiji obviously didn't tell you, being the good little boy he is, I will. Momiji... is cursed. Along with twelve others, Momiji is cursed with the vengeful spirits of the Zodiac. Rat, Snake, Boar, Sheep, Rabbit, Ox, Horse, Rooster, Monkey, Dog, Tiger, and Dragon... each of them have a host within the Sohma family as well. And then there's the cat, the worst of all. Excluded from the Zodiac feast, he's the pure outcast of the Sohma family, a disgusting creature, a monster worse then the others cursed by the monsters. But they are all freaks. Their families disown them, treat them like trash, and in the end they find me."
"Stop it," Momiji silently begged, but he did not.
"Have you ever heard the story, little boy? The story of the Zodiac feast? God invited thirteen animals to the feast. The cat was tricked into not going by the rat. As a result, the cat was exiled from the Zodiac for not attending. Which is why the cat is the worst monster the Sohma family holds. But as there are spirits for all members of the Zodiac, there is a space for God as well." Akito smirked, looking back at Hunny. "I am not that stupid rabbit's cousin. To him, I am that exactly. I am God!"
He thought this might answer Hunny's questions and get him to understand. Oooooh, stupid "diety." The odds were that Hunny would only decide to defy the will of God, so we think.

At times, Hunny could be even more frightening than Kyouya, if only because his strength and anger were hidden beneath a layer of cute innocence. His talents were never suspected until it was too late, which worked to his advantage but also terrorized those who had completely fallen for his appearance and let down their guard. He was very protective of those he cared about, and this sometimes led to overkill or punishments he would later regret. Another reason for his surprising violence was likely the fact that Hunny's father put a lot of pressure on him to be strong and not to fall into the mold his looks set. Akito's scream didn't affect him much, but Momiji's cry stabbed through his anger like a blade.
Eyes widening slightly and then blinking, realization of his actions dawned on him and he quickly released Akito's wrist, which would be badly bruised along with his dislocated shoulder and broken arm. Hunny, feeling partially guilty and partially assured that Akito could do no harm in this state, scrambled off of his back and stumbled over to Momiji. Frowning deeply, his eyes burned with unshed tears of regret he forced back as he picked his transformed friend up and cradled him to his chest. "I'm sorry, Momi-chan! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt your cousin!! I.... I just-" he stammered, nearly wailing. All trace of the scary Hunny was gone, though if Akito tried attacking, he was still at the ready to defend Momiji.
However, his apologies were cut-off by the man's roar, making his head snap around to stare at the "God" as he hugged Momiji to himself. He listened as he finally received an explanation, as well as the revelation that Momiji and Akito weren't related at all. Hunny had indeed heard the story of the Zodiac, though he'd forgotten some of the details, so it was a good thing the other retold the story. As the man finished, his brown eyes trailed from Akito to Momiji and back again, a thoughtful expression taking up the entirety of his face. Finally, after what felt like an hour, he seemed to make up his mind as he pet Momiji's head comfortingly and glared at Akito.
"I still don't really know how all of this works or why Momi-chan has to go through this, but.... I do understand some things. First, I don't know about the others, but Momi-chan is definitely not a monster, or a freak! He's just a boy who was cursed, and it's not even that bad! I don't know why his family would be so mean to him, just because he can turn into a bunny.... It's not like Momi-chan can hurt anyone like this, and even if he could, he wouldn't! And just because you have some kind of power over him, that doesn't mean you can go hurting him and his feelings! That makes you just as bad as the people he left. And there's one more thing I know for sure...."
Hunny stood as he said this, still holding Momiji as he looked down at Akito with a hardened expression that one could still find cute. "You're no God! Gods are kind and gentle and love those they rule over, and you're none of those things! You're not even strong like a real God!! Just because you have power over a few lives, that doesn't give you the right to claim that you are and make those lives awful. Now turn. Momi-chan. Back. I mean it!" he finished seriously.
