Akito looked dumbfounded as Hunny picked Momiji up and cuddled him close, the other also looking very embarassed, but not resisting. The God wondered how this person could be so accepting. Was everyone in this dimension screwed in the head? He remembered how others had abandoned the Sohmas that had loved them when they found out about the curse. Hatori would always undo their memories so that they would not be forced to remember. Momiji's mother was one of the ones to go. She hated her son, was on the verge of beating him when she decided to let go, and even Momiji himself had heard the last words of what she said. The only thing I regret is giving birth to a monster. She had chosen the right path because Momiji was a monster.
And yet this boy, this stupid boy, decides to come in and screw everything up? He reminded him of her, only more forceful and convicting. That girl was but a witch who was manipulating the Sohmas into loving her, drawing them away from Akito, but this body was a brute who was stealing his rabbit away by force, by breaking his arm. He would not stand for it either way. "I will not have it!" Akito said, managing to pick himself up with a violent, lunatic grin. "I may not have power over you, stupid boy, but I DO have power over Momiji, whether you like it or not. And as long as I have power over Momiji, he won't leave me. He won't be able to leave me. So you lose. Just give up and go home and I might not have you arrested for assault."
Akito really needed to do his research though. For starters, the other was richer then the Sohma family. Then he had friends who had wealth beyond their wildest dreams as well. Not to mention Kyouya had his own private police force that could bail Hunny out when he made it to the ITS, if he ever made it there. Each one of the Host Club members, were they to get there, would look out for their friends, for each other, and they all had the resources to do it. Money, care, friendship... if anything, they were probably more powerful then any force in the ITS just because money made the world go round and they had lots of it. Even with Akito's wealth, the Sohma family didn't go to the Bahamas, Peru, Hawaii, none of those places for vacation like the Host Club had before Haruhi came along.
Akito had been the one to fail. For not having security to remove Hunny, for underestimating the lolishota, and now for thinking that he had won. Momiji didn't want Hunny to break Akito's bones. He didn't want to see Hunny go down a path that was wrong. That didn't mean he would stop Hunny if he decided to, say, kick Akito down and escape with him. There would be nothing the so-called God could do about it, whether he wanted to or not. He could only hope Hunny would grab their Bun-buns and his clothes as he did so.

Hunny was an accepting person to begin with, and he hadn't been raised with the mindset of many in the Sohma's dimension. Thus, it really wasn't surprising that he accepted Momiji for the way he was without hesitation, confused and wondering how anyone could hate something so innocent and kind. He would be horrified if the other blond ever told him about what had happened with his mother, this entire story of misplaced hatred hard enough to believe as it is. At least for Momiji, it wasn't as if he turned into some kind of violent beast or ran around killing people because of his curse. Hunny could only guess that people acted the way they did because it was how things were, how they had been taught to act.
He really did feel guilty about breaking Akito's arm, but he was gradually beginning to believe the other had deserved it. From the sound of it, he'd been abusing Momiji for years, both physically and emotionally. Hunny was actually surprised when he stood up, but rather than quelling under that manic grin, he stood tall and strong. Akito was correct, of course, but as far as he could tell the man didn't have too much power over Momiji. As for being arrested, he didn't worry too much about that, having many factors on his side.
Though Hunny couldn't reach his funds or his friends in this dimension, he could take on a few officers- just enough to stun them so that they could escape. It might not even get to that if Akito called the police; who would believe that someone like himself had the power to break the arm of a full-grown man? Pausing a moment to think, he reached down and gathered up Momiji's clothes in his arms, half-burying the bunny in the process. Hunny then stuffed one of the Bun-Buns into what space he had left in the crook of his arm, grabbing the second by its ears. "We're leaving, and you're not going to stop us! Go Bun-Bun! Aerial assault!!" he shouted.
He whipped the plush at Akito's head, the pink bunny smacking into his face and causing enough of a distraction for him to run forward and use a leg sweep to knock the man back to the ground. Catching Bun-Bun as he fell, Hunny wasted no time in hopping over Akito's body and dashing out the door, running full-speed down the hallways and not slowing down until they were outside of the hotel. Even then, he managed to jog a few more yards before his body forced him to stop, falling onto his butt in the nearby grass while panting heavily.

Akito was ill-prepared for the sudden turn of events and, though he managed to bat the rabbit up into the air away from his face, he was unable to stop Hunny from knocking him back to the ground and, with another loud cry, fell and landed on his head. No longer able to act without any consciousness, he was unable to stop Hunny from virtually kidnapping Momiji and getting away with it. And, since he hadn't brought any security with him, there would be no one to keep Hunny from getting away. He had lost. Good triumphed over evil, the innocents were liberated from a vicious tyrant, and the birth of a hero had been realized. All was right in the world again... at least until Akito got back up again, but by the time he did, they'd be so far away it wouldn't matter.
Momiji, meanwhile, was trying to stay as close to Hunny as he could as the Blonde ran, not wanting to fall out of his arms. But by the time they got quite a distance from the hotel, he changed back as he'd often do randomly and exploded into a puff of smoke again. He quickly grabbed for his clothes to put them back on, starting with bottom garments, but unfortunately he wouldn't be quick enough before Hunny could get an eyefull and, only thankful that no one else was walking around (except for the occasional Trevor, and he wouldn't have seen it anyway), he quickly got his clothes back on before his near naked body could torment Hunny anymore. "S-Sorry... we don't get to keep our clothes on when we transform," he said, blushing madly.

Hunny had dropped all but Momiji when he sat down, and hadn't expected the blond to suddenly poof back into his human form. As such, he was holding a nude version of his friend for a few seconds before the boy managed to slip out and grab his clothes, unable to stop him from getting a decent look at his body. Of course, there wasn't a lot to see, since the cursed boy's body was small and slim and hadn't matured normally. None the less, Hunny's cheeks went as red as Momiji's, and he quickly pressed a hand to his mouth and nose as a few droplets of blood slipped out. He wiped them away, shaking his head to rid himself of a few thoughts that had popped up in his brain.
'Bad brain, bad! Don't think that way about Momi-chan!' he scolded it. Hunny looked away, waiting until Momiji was fully clothed before returning his gaze to the other. Managing a shy smile, he got to his feet. "It's okay, Momi-chan! It's not your fault~ We'll just have to be more careful when you transform, that's all," he reassured. However, Hunny's own words reminded him of Akito and what he had done to the man, and a fresh wave of guilt and regret instantly washed over him.
Sniffling a little, his face flushed again and the tears he'd held back before sprung into his eyes. "M-Momi-chan, about what happened before, about what I did.... I.... I'm sorry! I didn't mean to, really! I'm sorry I scared you and hurt your cou- I mean, Akito!! I just can't stand seeing my friends hurt.... I get really upset and then I.... I do things I don't mean to and that I regret, like I am now.... Please forgive me, Momi-chan! I promise not to hurt anymore of your friends!!" He promptly glomped his clone, burying his face into the small shoulder and wailing his apologies. Sure, Hunny wouldn't really consider Akito to be Momiji's friend, but he didn't know how else to word their relationship.

Momiji was taken off guard when Hunny began to appologize and worry over Akito... well, worry over how he thought of the shota boy for what he did to Akito. Momiji shook his head, his hair hiding his eyes. "I don't really care what happens to Akito. As far as I'm concerned, he..." Momiji stopped there. He didn't want to say anything further and make himself look like a horrible person, so he just looked at Hunny with a pout. "But yeah... I was a little scared. I was afraid Akito would hurt you at first, but then when you pinned him and... and broke his arm... I was afraid you might do something bad. I mean... even if I think Akito deserves it, he's still just a human being... A very selfish, mean, controlling human being, but human nonetheless."
"He's not my friend and I don't want him to be, but he still doesn't deserve to be hurt that badly." Momiji shook his head. "Then again, I think no one deserves to be hurt that badly. Violence only causes more violence, pain brings forth more pain. It's better to try and smile through the pain so that, maybe, no more can come." He suddenly blushed and shook his head. "S-Sorry for rambling. That sometimes happen, I just forget myself and..." He shook his head again. "But are you alright Mitsu-chan? I-I didn't know you were so strong. I guess I shouldn't have judged by how you look, but even as frail as Akito was... you pinned him like he was nothing and..." He cut off there, shuddering as he remembered how Hunny broke the "diety's" arm over his transformation... remembering that caused him to frown more.
"Yeah... well... now you know the big family secret. There are twelve others like me, like Akito said, who transform. We usually only transform when hugged by a member of the opposite sex or when our bodies are weak. And, despite all the mocking, Akito was right. This place has enough mean people in it that most would probably be accepting of our secret, but, in my world, it'd be a disaster." Momiji gave a sad smile. "People would view my family as freaks. Some of our own family's even did on birth. Aya-chan's mother gave him up, Rin-chan's abused her, I think... My own mother gave up her memories of me because she had regretted giving birth to me, a monster." Momiji shook his head. "I feel more bad for Kyo-chan though. His father hates him 'cause his mother commited suicide... 'cause he's the cat. Akito hates Kyo more then any of us... all because he's the cat. And even though I know it's wrong, I can't help but be thankful that I'm just the rabbit and not the cat... because I get to run around every day."

Hunny sniffled a bit more, calming down as Momiji spoke and wiping at his eyes with the sleeve of his jacket. His watery, slightly reddened orbs met his friend's, mouth still stuck in a small frown of regret and apology. "I-I really am sorry about scaring you, Momi-chan. I hate it when I get like that.... I don't like hurting people, so I usually save it for defense. B-But, sometimes, I just lose control.... I wouldn't have killed him or anything, though, honest!" he assured desperately. Hunny sniffled once more as Momiji rambled, tightening his embrace a little and leaning in to nuzzle his shoulder comfortingly.
"It's okay, Momi-chan. You've been hurt a lot, haven't you? I'm fine, he didn't even touch me~ I.... I'm a ninth degree black belt in martial arts.... everyone in my family is a master.... so I wasn't worried. But, he hit you, Momi-chan...." he murmured worriedly. Moving back again, his eyes fell upon the large red mark on Momiji's cheek, his regretful frown having changed to match his feelings. Hunny listened as Momiji refined all of the information Akito had supplied him with, giving details and filling in gaps.
"I'm sorry it's so bad for all of you back home.... I know all of you would be accepted where I come from, I just know it! It's not right that you should be treated that way, just because of some curse that only transforms you into animals.... Why is that so bad? You were a cuty bunny, Momi-chan. And really soft~ I bet the others are cute when they change, too. I'd really like to meet them~," he cooed, smiling cutely at last.

Momiji listened to Hunny speak for a while. Self-control... it was like Kyo and Hatsuharu. The two didn't have much self-control either, so he was kinda used to it thanks to them at the very least. But none of them had gone so far as to break bones, even if they acted like they wanted to, so Momiji hadn't been as worried about them as he was scared when Hunny had broken Akito's arm, proving he would do anything to protect the bunny boy. Thinking about it in that way made him blush lightly inside. Was Hunny really looking to protect him? And why? They had just met a few moments ago, even if they were alike in almost nearly every way possible, even with the sudden breaking of Akito's arm. They were still like possible brothers.
Momiji listened as Hunny explained why he had attacked, why nothing seemed so bad to him at first until the little rabbit had gotten scared. So he was a martial artist. Definently not what Momiji would've considered at first. That means that he would've had a lot of training, probably on the same level as Shisshou back in his world. Perhaps even greater, Momiji thought, when Hunny mentioned that everyone in his family was a master of martial arts. That probably meant he did a lot of training and was more aware of things then even Shisshou, who ran a dojo of his own, but wasn't exactly always the sharpest tool in the shed. Still, what he lacked in some brains, he made up for with more heart, having been willing to even adopt Kyo.
Hunny then explained about wanting to meet all of the Sohmas, thinking it was wrong they should be talked bad about just because of a curse that made them different and only able to change into animals. Momiji decided to hold his tongue about Hatsuharu's split personality, Kyo's attitude, Rin's practical misanthropy, Hiro's sarcasm, etc. There were a few nice Sohmas, but quite a few also let the curse hit them thanks to Akito. Momiji liked to think he wasn't one of them. But then, when Hunny called him cute, Momiji felt his cheeks flush red and he tried to hide them behind his face. "Oh... ummm... th-thank you," Momiji said. He wasn't a fool. He knew why he blushed, but he wasn't about to admit it.

Had Momiji voiced his question about why Hunny was protecting him, he would have instantly answered with the fact that they were friends. Whether new or old, close or distant, he would always stick up for his friends and protect them to the best of his ability. After all, the martial arts were originally began for self-defense and the defense of others, so he should put all of his hard work and training to use. Of course, some other factors were likely the facts that Momiji was Hunny's first and only friend in this world and he felt a special kinship towards the boy because of their similarities. Those three reasons provided more than enough of a motive for him to protect and defend his newfound friend, even at the risk of his own safety and well-being.
He held his smile when the other blushed at his compliment, finding it cute and even a little.... endearing? Hunny blinked, wondering where that adjective had come from, but quickly pushed the thought away and picked up their plushies. "You're welcome~ But, even though you're cute as a bunny, I'm glad you won't change into one every time I hug you," he stated, handing Momiji his Bun-Bun. "Um, you don't think Akito is going to chase after us or anything, do you? I think I knocked him out, but...." A slightly nervous pout formed on Hunny's face, though he was mainly worried about Momiji's well-being in case the man had back-up.

Momiji looked back at the hotel and shook his head. "By the time Akito gets up, we can be gone. We can go and be free from him, even me. He can't control me if he doesn't know where to find me, after all. Yuki and Kyo skipped out on the New Years Feast to be with Tohru-chan, even if Akito punished them for it, so I can leave him to a place he cannot find me... then he won't have any power over me, no matter what he says." Momiji looks down. "Fear caused me to obey Akito, but... I don't wanna be afraid of him anymore and... I think I can be safe with you, Mitsu-chan." Momiji didn't know where all of this was coming from, but he knew one thing. Enough was, indeed, enough. It was time to leave Akito for good, even without the curse being broken. (Fail post is fail >.<

Hunny nodded, smile returning as he reached out to take Momiji's hand like he had earlier, keeping Bun-Bun cradled in his other arm. "Good~ I'll make sure he doesn't find you, and even if he does, I'll help you run away again, Momi-chan! He won't hurt you again if I can help it. It's okay to be afraid, but I'll make sure you don't have to be afraid of him ever again. I mean it! I'll protect you, Momi-chan. Promise~" He couldn't help but turn a little pink at the trust Momiji was placing in him, positive that the Host Club boy could defend him from harm.
Giving his hand a light tug, he coaxed his friend into continuing on down the road at a normal pace. "So, Momi-chan, you seem to know this place better than me. Any ideas on where we should go~? Just how big is this world, anyway? Do you know?"

Momiji really didn't know how big this world is. "I don't know. There are different things to each side. Industrial land, snow land, desert land, and forest land. This world is made up of pretty much everything." He sighed, feeling a little useless. "As long as we get far away from this hotel, I don't mind going anywhere else."

Hunny squeezed his hand reassuringly. "Ah, it's okay, Momi-chan~! I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like that. Just because you knew your way to the hotel, that didn't mean you knew a lot about the island.... hmm.... But then how will we know where to go? I guess we can just keep walking in this direction and see where it takes us~ I hope it's somewhere with sweets! I never got to finish my cake before that portal sucked me up...." he finished with a pout. He half-led Momiji along the road, their destination unknown though the urban area slowly turned suburban and then downright rural and wilderness.
