It's Like A Video Game (continued)

"This is cool! They have a mall here! And it's huge!" Lea said excitedly as she and Ellie went inside. After a second, she tried to contain herself since she didn't want anyone giving her weird looks.

It was just like every other kinda mall I've been to. The shimmering tiled floor, the well-lit ads and the shuffle hustle bustle kerfuffle of the shoppers. Out of the ordinary, or atleast out of the ordinary of where I'm from, was the myriad of different species and races I've never seen before. This reminded me that the reality I'm used may not be consistant with this one. Mages, deities, vampires, daemons, aliens and any other shazam that could be pulled out of a fantasy or sci-fi novel. This also brings new oppotunities, such as I can be a right proper bastard with little or no consequence, but we'll see how things turn out, that's the best part of this game.
So I'm there in the middle of the station wearing all black corduroys, trainers and sheep-skin bomber-jacket unzipped to reveal a black t-shirt with the word 'Godless' printed in cracked block text with an angel wing on each end of the word. In my jacket's pocket is my leather wallet containing £1000 which should be enough for any RPG character to get started, although I don't know what the currency is like here. A rucksack on my carrying my M16 so I can upgrade it at the weapon store.
Tossing my hair out of view, I scanned the place for said store. Nothing. What kind of RP world hasn't got a bloody weapon store!?

"Thank you, come again." The cashier said to Lea as she took her bags and her credit card. Some time after arriving at the mall, Ellie just disappeared. Thinking she just went off on her own and would turn up later, she just decided to continue shopping.

After leaving the store with bags in both hands, she accidentally bumped into someone. "Sorry about that."

My first random encounter, not what I expected. A young lady had face-planted herself into my right arm as she exited one of the shops. Giving an expression of mild contempt, I calmly said,
"Watch yurself."
And if I know RPGs this will lead to trading names, backstories and ending on "see ya around", "wanna team up?" or "you can find me at so-and-so" and even a quest with some reward on offer. I willingly introduced myself to get the conversation rolling.
"I'm Zero, and what's with the hurry?"
I reeeaaaly hope that didn't sound like a pick-up line.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." Lea apologized.

"I'm Lea and no, that didn't sound like a pick-up line, or at least not a good one." She said after Zero introduced himself, not realizing that her telepathy picked up a stray thought from him.

Her instant reply told me she was either psychic or had aura powers, both wouldn't surprise me since I prepared myself for abilities before I came here. Although it made anxious learning what this girl could be capable of. I pushed the conversation further.
"Do ya know if there are any gun stores around?"
I think a psychic should be pretty well aware of the establishments set up around town, so her powers could be of use here.

"One, I just got here. And two, why the heck are you asking about gun shops?" Lea said. She thought this person might be some kind of anarchist. His look certainly didn't help to disprove that thought.

Hmph, I thought a psychic could answer the second question herself, but then again a real psychic would be aware enough NOT to bump into people. *sigh* I suppose I should answer to avoid looking too shady.
"I need to upgrade my M16, and also hopefully get a magnum revolver. This is a weird world, so I must be prepared for any nasties that come my way."

"Sheesh, are you going around looking for trouble?" Lea asked, with a disturbed look on her face. Not many people talk about guns in casual conversation. Where the heck did this guy come from?
