"Woo! High score! Go me!" Goten was exclaiming. He currently had no idea where he was. Just that it had an arcade. And that was all that really mattered. He was pretty happy when he first found the mall after flying around a bit. But completely overjoyed after finding the arcade. This was where he shined. Trunks did... whatever it is people do in arcades, but Goten was a gamer through and through. He forgot for a moment that he wasn't at the World Tournament stadium. He forgot for a moment that he wasn't sure where he was. And he forgot for a moment that he didn't know the name of the game he'd just scored at. He even forgot about GIRLS for a moment.
A brief moment it was. "...wait. I was worried about something earlier... missing a date, not knowing where I am... eh, it'll come back to me." And he restarted his game, not a care in the world. Or, dimension, as the case would be.

"So did you piss off palkia again." Kodiak asked night as they entered the arcade wanting to get a few relaxing moments.
"No in honesty i have no idea how i got here, glad to see you again though." Night chuckled.

It was most likely a mistake for Goten to not pay attention to his surroundings. To focus only on his game. A mistake he could possibly pay dearly for. A mistake that he still hadn't noticed yet. He realized there were beings around him. Of course there were, it was a mall. What he DIDN'T realize, however, was how much of a bad idea it was to suddenly scream out.
"Woohoo! New personal best!" Some would say Goten ENJOYED making himself look like a royal idiot. Which was highly possible, mind you.

Goten shouted this just as night and Kodiak passed. this caused night to jump almost out of his skin as the shout hit his sensitive ears, he landed in a crouch a metal claw at the ready, waiting for an attack. when he saw the source of the shout he stood up his metal claw vanishing before his gold eye's drifted over to kodiak who was desperately trying to stay on his feet he was laughing so hard. "Ha ha." Night muttered clearly tempted to hit the five tailed guardian.

"Oh, my bad." Goten said sheepishly, quickly turning around. "Didn't see ya there. I'm Goten." He extended his hand, keeping one on the machine's joystick.

night smacked Kodiak to get him to focus. "I'm night." The albino lucario answered as he shook the offered hand.
"I'm kodiak." Kodiak smiled as he shook the hand when night was done.

"So, what brings you to... wait... I don't know where I am, and..." Goten trailed off, going back to his game for a moment.
"Right. So. D'you guys know where this... place, is? The city have a name?" Goten asked, darting his eyes between the screen and the two... non-human creatures.

(If you want this to be a one on one, I'll gladly back out, but seeing as I don't see a one on one reference anywhere.)
"It's been a while since I decided to kick back and have fun!" Goku said, grinning childishly with Latanya sweatdropping behind him. "And this is the first time I've ever seen an arcade! This should be fun!"
Latanya snapped. "Goku... We've seen that this world is capable of supporting alternate worlds and timelines... tell me... Do you know of the Tuffles?"
"Who?"
"... Majin Buu?"
"He's living with Hercule now," Goku replied.
"Syn Shenron?"
"... Syn?"
"So as far as you are concerned, you don't know about them yet... but I met you after the times of Cell striking fear into the world and before Majin Buu's release... So you know me for that..." Latanya shook her head. "Goku, there may be friends or family of yours that come from a time in the past or the future. Be prepared for that."

(It's okay with me. Topic is open to all. Was going to indicate that, being open and whatnot, somewhere but thought against it. >>)
"Heh. Yeah. I remember this one time with King Yemma..." Goten trailed off. He'd felt something. An odd... energy. One that seemed almost... relaxed, at the moment. But he'd still felt it. What was... Vegeta? No, no... more like... Goku? Was Goten's father really there?
The boy tensed slightly. He couldn't be SURE it was his dad. The energy Goten sensed felt... different. Still seemed to be his father's, though. Just... not exactly the same. He couldn't yet see the man, and his better judgment told him to call out or something. But then his senses noticed something else. Something like a flashing green light, or a robotic voice yelling out...
...Game Over.
"What?! No! I was so close! The base was right there..." Goten yelled, staring at the screen. He had a rather comical look on his face before going tense again.
"Right. Energy. Could be Dad... well, one more game wouldn't-no, no, focus Goten, focus." He thought to himself, turning from the machine.
"D-dad?" Goten found himself calling out, having noticed a man greatly resembling his father. Too far away to see perfectly.

"Hmm?" Latanya looked around, hearing someone call for their father, and then noticed the figure. "No way... Goten?!"
"Goten? Where?" Goku asked, looking around until Latanya pointed at the teenage Goten. "What?! No way! Oh man, Goten's grown so big!"
"Like I said, this world messes with timelines... Ack, I can't let him see me!" With that, Latanya ran off.
Why did she run? She's not afraid of Goten, is she? With that, Goku went over to Goten. "Goten, is that really you?"

"I should be asking you the same thing." Goten smiled. He hadn't seen his dad in... well, he didn't have a watch, but it felt like longer than five minutes.
"Yep, it's me... as me as I'll ever be, at least." Goten glanced around. Right. Kodiak and Night.
"Uh, Dad, this is Kodiak, and this is Night. Met them a minute or so ago."
