A good book or two?

Ion suddenly looked very offended at that statement. "Replicas are still people! Sure, we were replicated from other people, but that doesn't mean that we're replacements!"

TOm sighed and let his shoulders sag as he floated upright. "See, this why I'm always unsure in how to talk to people. I always say something wrong and it turns horrible."

"I didn't mean it like that, even if your not human, it doesn't mean I think your not a person. And since I didn't even know you were a'replica' like you said, I would have never even thought about you being a replacepent. But, I am sorry for upsetting you."

"It's okay," Ion said. "It's just there's a lot of people in the world where I'm from who think of replicas as monsters because we look just like other people."

"Well, I know how you feel. Most of the people I've met just run screaming from me." Tom shrugged. "Of course some of the people I wanted them to run screaming."

((Wow, I just looked at my last post, I think I might of been half asleep for that one.))

Ion frowned. "That's not very nice." After that, he sighed and pulled a book out of the bookshelf, flipping through it for a moment before sighing and putting it back on the shelf.

"Oh well it was for a good reason I promise..... well.... except that one time...." Tom thought about, had he had a reason to scare that one guy. He knew there was something, but couldn't think of what it was. "Well, anyway... Looking for a book?"

Ion nodded. "I can't find any I can read though. Nothing in here is written in the Fonic Alphabet. I can read bits and pieces here and there, but that's only because some letters are similar to those I know."

"Hmm.... Well, do you have any books you brought with you that is in um... Fonic?" Tom wasn't sure if he had said it right, but he thought he had. He was wondering if he could help him out wiht finding a book.

"Oh, ah... no. But I can write some down for you!" Ion said. He started walking around the library, looking for some paper and a quill to write with.

"Well, if you can find something to write with, I have something you can write on." Tom said as he followed Ion farther into the library. He called down one of the blank books that were almost always following him around.

Ion nodded and eventually found something that kinda looked like a quill, only without the feather. He supposed that would work. "Found something!"

"Ok, just write it in this," Tom tossed Ion the blank book, making it a physical book as he tossed it. "After just tossed it up, I'll get it." Tom smiled mysteriously, he had an idea of how to find a book and he was sure it would work. Of course Ion probably won't expect it, but it'll be cool to see if it worked.

Ion caught it, and wrote down a few words on the inside before tossing it back to Tom. "Will this work?"

"It should, just a sec." Tom floated down and stood on the floor. He stared down at the book. It changed into an old leather bound book with symbols on the front. It look like it fall apart from just the slightest touch. "Ok, now go pick out a book. I think this might work." Tom didn't look away from the now aged book as he talked.

Ion nodded, and walked over to a bookshelf before pulling out another book. "Okay, now what?"
