But Sasha was fast to act. His Sheild blocked them all quite effectively.

"Of course, after we get the other jewel pieces, we will commence with a coup d'etat and take him out too" continued Black Mage. "And now, ONEJEWELDOKEN!!!" he shouted as he fired.

Lucas dove out of the way just in time, but now Ness was startin to get pissed off.
"Alright that's it!" Ness jumped in front ", PSI Rockin'!!" Ness released a blast of multicolored PSI energy straight at Black Mage and Richard.

Richard and BM jumped out of the way and landed near the walls. "Okay, time to get up close and personal. HASTE!" said Black Mage. The Haste spell was cast on Richard, allowing him to attack at a very high speed, which combined with his monk skills, would turn very deadly. "Hah!" shouted Richard. He lunged at the group and started attacking.

Ness went to charge at him but Ninten pulled him back just in time. Richard had managed to leave a cut across Ness' cheek.
"Don't charge in like that! You're lucky I pulled you back in time!" Ninten shouted.
"Sorry," Ness apologized as he wiped the blood from his face.
Meanwhile, Lucas had snuck off and into an abandoned electronics store. He silently watched the scene from behind an empty CD rack. He felt bad for hiding, but he was quite scared of these two. They were really powerful though. Something caught his interest though. He could sense something strange nearby. Silently he searced through the empty CD rack and found what he was looking for, a jewel piece. He quickly pocketed it and hid behind the CD rack again.

"Well of co-" began Richard, then... CRACK! CRACK!. Both of them were out like a light. Leonard and NT9 hit them both on the back of their heads, KO'ing them. "NT9, please drag these two into the room with the moose" ordered Parroto. NT9 complied and dragged Richard and Black Mage away. "Now, I understand that there is a Jewel Piece in this general area, and I am the only member of the Zoness 'Mafia' who is with out one." Leonard and Ursa held up theirs. "I would appreciate it if you did not resist and let us take our prize."
(do you know how long I've been waiting to do that?)

Ness and Ninten seemed quite surprised by this whole scene but Ness quickly responded.
"Again with this jewel thing!? I still don't really understand what everyone's talking about but it's getting old!"
"Yeah, besides, we have no idea where this thing is anyway," Ninten added, looking around and noticing that Lucas was gone ", Hey....speaking of not being able to find something, where's Lucas?"

"He escaped from the crossfire during the fight," Sasha replied, looking around. "...and to answer your question, the jewel pieces need to be found to seal the Dark insects threatening to destroy all the dimensions."

"GET HIM!!!" NT9 shouted. However, with his infra-red eye attachments, he was the only one who could see Lucas. He opened up his chest, revealing a missile rack. "DIE!!!" The missiles fired directly at the CD rack Lucas was hiding behind.

Lucas let out a yelp as he tried to run, but there wasn't anywhere to run so he ducked and waited for the end.
Luckily for him, Ness was on top of it.
"Shield Sigma!" Ness shouted as a psychic barrier appeared in front of Lucas. The force of the blast when it hit the shield was still enough to knock Lucas back and damage him a bit but at least he wasn't hit dead on. Quickly Ninten ran in to see if he was okay while Ness stayed behind to confront the Zoness Mafia.
"What the heck was that all about!?" he shouted ", You guys better leave us alone!" Ness pointed two fingers at him surrounded with PSI energy threateningly.
