Full Name: Alex (This is rumored to not be his real name)
Nickname(s): Final Fantasy Nut, Geek, Nerd
Title: Thief of Void
Age: 15 years
Height: Slightly over Medium height
Weight: Medium weight
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alliance: Protagonist (Was part of an unknown session in an unknown version of Earth very far away from John, the trolls, and the other's session.)
Home: Earth
Franchise: Homestuck OC (DCstuck)
Physical Description
When he first began his game in Homestuck, he was a normal looking young man with black hair, slicked down in the front yet spikey in the back, wearing a light blue shirt with a brown '064' on the front, black shorts with a red belt, and black shoes, topped with a cross necklace...
Now adays however, he wears tattered old silver robes topped with a long flowing hood. Said robes are in mostly good condition save for the left sleeve which is ripped off in a manner similar to a no sleeved shirt. The 'Void' symbol is imprinted on the chest of his robe.
Weapons
His Strife Specibus is equipped with STAVEKind. Basically Staves are metal sticks that serve a purpose similar to bats, only somewhat bigger like staffs. He dual wields the 'Crystal Smasher' (A stave that's colored light blue with a crystal stalagmite like design), and the 'Baseball Crusher' (Which looks like a big broadened out baseball bat, with the letters 'K-O!!' written on the side in green ink). They certainly are powerful looking weapons...
Abilities/Powers
Being a God-Tier, Alex's Thief of Void Powers are thoroughly apparent. As the name suggests, he has the power to steal the void off of people with it... But what does that entail you may ask?
Well, the Thief of Void is capable of stealing the void, or nothingness off of people; doing as such gives them a much better outlook or much more importance, whether it be in their lives or in the story they are in. The more Void he takes from someone, the more important or cheerful they become. However, the opposite is true for the Thief. Whenever he takes the void from one person, his attitude drops more and more into a state of unemotional disdain. The more void he collects, the more grim his outlook on life is, and the darker his words become. Should he steal way too much void, he will become so unimportant he will cease to exist.
However, the Thief can also plant it's void on another person, monster or thing. For example, if he should place a certain amount of void into any type of Ogre monster, the monster will downgrade into a lowly imp, making it simple to defeat (Though this also downgrades the amount of grist earned as well). The same holds true for any people he does this too... However, as their is a certain amount of void that he can steal, there's also a certain amount of void the thief can give away. Everything is a balance, and he has to keep some void to himself to keep a type of balance.
EDIT: Along with this admittably abstract power, Alex has control over the void as well in certain aspects, suching as using a tiny pocket dimension of void that he keeps by his side as a makeshift Captchalogue. All he needs to do is imagine the item he needs, send a non-verbal order to the pocket dimension and the item produces itself in a hurry. It can be noted that he can also use his powers to actually steal enemies as well, sending them to THE void; a piece of null space far far far away from the universe they are in, but is still close in some fashion. Unfortunately however, this power only works if you can trick the enemy into a portal or capture them.
Skills
Alex is a very skilled video gamer, practically an addict. Not only that, but if you challenge him to a quiz regarding Final Fantasy Knowledge, he will win. He is simply the best there is.
[That was meant to be a joke, so don't hold me to that.]
Personality
Usually, Alex is a shy and unsure person, with very little confidence in his own fighting capabilities. When in his comfort zone, he is snarky, sarcastic, and generally something of a smart-ass... But despite that, he likes treating things with kindness, offsetting said initial trait...
When he has too much void in him however, he becomes a serious, crass, and even somewhat cruel person with very little consideration for others. Should enough void leave him, he will revert back to his original personality, but until that time comes, if you ever run into him like this and you piss him off, you'll likely be in for one heck of a beating.
EDIT: Initially, Alex was pretty despondent about finding out that he was the 'Thief of Void', as he lumps the void together with the big name Final Fantasy baddie Exdeath, and labels it evil. It's mostly due to that that he keeps a fair amount of void on him, keeping him unfeeling. He has yet to learn that just because he is the Thief of Void that doesn't mean he himself is bad.
History
Alex comes to Dimensional Clash for unknown reasons and purposes, from his original session. Little is known about it, however, he does bring up a few names if it's ever mentioned. Among these are Steven, Cecilia, Nora and Kelsey. It's somewhat hinted that this session has somehow become quite frayed and askew, though no real details are yet known. For now, he is on Dimensional Island in the hopes that his friends have arrived as well.
Other
As you might have guessed, Alex is a bit of a split personality case. Which one he's on depends on his powers at the time, and as such, it is difficult to switch between them as it takes ejecting the void onto someone else.
Also, whenever he talks to someone long distance on Pesterchum, his Chumhandle is 'gantzGun' and 'he types with light blue text, with proper pronounciation.'
EDIT: For his trip on Dimensional Island, Alex has a special keyboard which is an entire computer built in. The keyboard can display a holographic screen that works just as well as a computer moniter, which has built in Wi-Fi, Pesterchum, and a few computer games from his old home... Though one can tell they are only there because they were installed by Alex during his early days in the game, to serve as a reminder of his old home.
There's also a way to tell when Alex is in his emo mode or in normal mode on Pesterchum. Normally, Alex types in a kind tone and tries his best to be a help when he can. Void!Alex however, will be much more snarky and cynical.
