Physical Description
Rarity is the most regal of the mane six. Her coat is a light azure gray and her eyes are an azure color. She wears light blue eyeliner to accent them. Her mane and tail are purple colored and curled stylishly, unlike the chaotic nature of Pinkie Pie. Her cutie mark consists of three light blue gems, potentially sapphires, but they seem too light colored to me. Despite being a fashion designer, even Rarity doesn't feel the need to wear clothes. Hasn't stopped her from making a somewhat adult joke about the nerve of Spike watching them get dressed for the Gala.
Weapons
Like most unicorns, Rarity could technically gut someone with her horn. However, ponies really weren't trained that way. And Rarity would probably be afraid of getting blood all over her coat.
Abilities/Powers
Rarity, like most unicorns, can use magic. That being said, much like Penny, her magic is not that amazing. She isn't the element of magic, after all, nor has she studied under Princess Celestia. She mainly uses telekinesis to make her life easier, to do her sewing.
Skills
As a fashionista, Rarity is amazing at creating works of art. They usually involve jewels, as per her cutie mark, but they always fit the pony's personality and style to a tee.
Personality
Ok... despite what I've said before, I want to make one thing perfectly clear. Rarity is not a complete bitch. That being said, her personality traits can make her such at times. Her love for beauty can be a pro and a con, as anyone who cares for beautification will see it as a blessing while those who do not care will see it as annoying and unnecessary. Her love for fame makes her seem egotistical and petty. She is not a warrior type woman, instead relying on clever manipulation if it comes down to it, and this is mental strength indeed, but she is a bit of a clean freak and will do whatever it takes to avoid getting dirty... unless for creative reasons. She's also a drama queen and will overexagerate things... a lot. However, despite these traits, Rarity is still an amazing soul. She does represent her element well as sometimes her love for beauty leaves her to sometimes give ponies makeovers for free. She's even willing to sew TEN DIFFERENT DRESSES for her friends, as the original perfect five were somewhat disliked, so she made five new ones that were horrible ('cept Rainbow's) just for them. She's also the most sophisticated of the ponies, speaking with complex words, and seems intelligent enough to know what they mean. She also has an amazing work ethic, which sometimes runs her hard, but she is willing to do what it takes to get what the customer orders. In the end, you have to look past the flaws to see the golden heart within, just like with any natural human being. Still doesn't make her best pony in this RPer's eyes though.
History
Like with most of the ponies, Rarity's childhood is mostly unknown of. We see how she gets her cutie mark just like with the other ponies. She designed costumes for a school play, but despite them being nice, the teacher didn't think so. She nearly gave up until her horn led her to a rock... a rock that Rainbow's Sonic Rainboom would burst open, showing off amazing gemstones within. She would refit the outfits with gems... making them worse in my opinion... and yet her teacher likes them, so what the fuck ever, she gets her cutie mark. From that day forward, she'd been working in Carousel Boutique as a fashion designer. When Twilight Sparkle came around originally under Princess Celestia's orders, she was checking on the designs, yet Rarity felt the need to give her a makeover. In that moment, Rarity's involvement with Twilight would lead her onto the adventures she would undertake with them, and I doubt I need to explain all that.
