Physical Description
Alice's short, lithe frame gives her a petite image, but behind the appearance lies an athleticism that gives her an edge in combat. Her skin color is a light tan, her curves present, and if you look at her chest, you'll probably notice she's not particularly endowed there, B cup if you go by measurements. Then you'll most likely have your eyes gouged out. Her hair, a natural auburn red color, is cut short, reaching down to the back of her neck only. Often she hides her eyes behind sunglasses of a sort, but if they fall off, you'll see that while the dark violet color isn't often seen in human eyes, they're not exactly abnormal other then that. She wears masculine clothing mostly; her natural combat outfit is a white shirt with no decorations, blue jeans, and black combat boots. She keeps herself dressed simple at all times, preferring it this way.
Weapons
Alice does not go into battle with weapons, but will use any weapons she finds with maximum mastery provided she's seen the weapon used in combat before considering...
Abilities/Powers
Alice has a special, unique, rare ability known quite simply as "Photographic Reflexes." One of the famous examples of this ability at work is a Marvel character known as Taskmaster. Basically, if Alice sees something being done, let's assume it was done by a professional in the first place, she can mimic the movements and perform the actions perfectly, as if she'd been doing it her entire life. This sounds overpowering, but let's make this clear right now. This doesn't make Alice a superhuman. She can pick up fighting styles and skills, but she is not super strong or super fast. She is quite agile, think Robin of the Teen Titans, but you've seen moments where HE'S had to be saved by members of his team, more then often the fliers. She has no special powers and is, like any human in the Dimensional Isles, easy to kill. She cannot copy special, metaphysical abilities like regeneration, flying, or telepathy. She cannot copy anything a regular human cannot do. However, if a regular human can perform it, then so can she.
Skills
And since humans are generally good at maintenance, cooking, sports playing, electronics, inventing, and all sorts of other stuff, Alice has a TON of hobbies for when she's not fighting crime.
Personality
Despite being on the side of justice, Alice can sometimes be cold and aloof. She is not gothic or emo about it, but tends to become obsessive about bettering herself, most likely due to living in an environment where at least seventy five percent of the population is better then you in every way just because they have superpowers. As a result, she doesn't socialize often, only doing so when she has to, and can be found working or training. The times she does relax, however, she is generally a kind person with a fair sense of humor. She doesn't enjoy dark subject matter, she doesn't enjoy killing, and she enjoys the presence of cute, small, fuzzy animals. In short... she is pretty much EVERYTHING I AM UNUSED TO PLAYING! That being said, she's not stupid. She'll kill when she has to, when there's no other way and she's exhausted every other option or if the villain in general is just that utterly irredeemable (like Kefka), but even then she'll feel guilty about it. She is the leader of her own crime fighting group in the Dimensional Isles and is conservative, believing in preserving her companions, maximizing their strengths, playing them in advantageous situations, and utilizing partnerships that will help weaken, if not negate, their flaws. In short, she wants them to live and she wants them to win.
History
Alice Benard was born in Void City. As a result, she is acclimated to the chaotic nature of the Dimensional Isles. Nothing bothers her in the present due to it. From the day she was born, she was considered a special case. She learned quicker then most kids and was able to do things that kids at such a young age had no chance in Hell of performing. Eventually, when diagnosed, the doctors had nothing negative to report. They hapilly told Alice's parents that she had photographic reflexes and that she would be a prodigy and an immense benefit to anyone who wanted her help. Overjoyed their daughter was one of the most special people in the world, they were quickly prepared to spoil their little girl. That's when fate intervened.
At the tender age of eight, Alice was forced to watch her parents get gunned down right in front of her eyes. Two thieves had mugged and killed the two, but they had sent Alice to run for help. They were not found until later, but when the full force of the loss crashed down upon Alice, it crushed her. But it would be a temporary breakdown, for instead of turning psychotic and wishing to watch the world burn, this act of cruelty would be the trigger that inspired Alice's hatred for crime. Watching the police work, she asked if she could learn their ways. They had many different troops, some of which were designed to deal with superhumans, and while the cops had decided to humor her at first, Alice quickly worked her way into the corps despite her young age due to her ability to pick up techniques in seconds.
She was worked hard. She will not deny it. Years of experience and physical training, however, hardened both her body and mind. By the age of fifteen, she was leading her own corps when the first wave of supervillains started coming into the Dimensional Islands. There was only so much the police could handle, after all, and even though they had their methods for dealing with some superpowered criminals, they weren't able to handle demigods like Kefka or metaphysical Eldritch Abominations like Giygas. It was an Abomination that Alice lost her entire team to. Everything had been going fine at first; it had been just an Eye then, a gigantic talking Eye. But when it showed its true form, she had to witness her corpsmen going insane. It had even affected her mind and it was only due to a miracle quirk of fate opening a portal under her and spiriting her away that she had even survived to recover.
Devastated by the loss of her crewmen, Alice resigned from the force and left. She had felt hopeless at first, but then, when she stayed in the Bonsai Village, she started hearing tales of new heroes. These heroes came from the same world the villains came from and would start to fight them the same way they had before. Slowly she would gain her hope back as she would observe newcomers aiding her city as if they had lived there their entire lives. And then a man named Roland Marscorn would come to her and instill within her a sort of miracle; by showing her that no matter who you were, you could always be powerful. So Roland and Alice partnered up and are now seeking to create a force of good to help the denizens of Void City so that they will never have to fear again.
Other
I've been watching too much Teen Titans. And yes, Roland is my Oblivion main character.
