"O-Oh! My goodness!" To say Aqua was enjoying all of the little ones nuzzling her would've been an understatement. All of the little ones were just such pleasant little creatures, very happy go lucky. She felt quite lucky to be here.
The only real barrier that seperated her from truely unequivocably enjoying herself was the language barrier. She couldn't help but wonder what these little ones were saying as they nuzzled up to her, growling softly to each other and to her.
Her expression suddenly turned curious as a thought struck her. "Hold, little ones." She gently tries to seperate herself from the yeti's and reaches for her bag. A second later, she pulls out what appeared to be a piece of paper, along with a pen.
The Little ones watched as she made a few clean, crisp lines across the paper. Since the pen had blue ink, she used it to fill in a spot right above a narrow shape that resembled a head.
By the time Aqua was done, she had created a scribbled stick person version of herself on the paper. No surprise, she wasn't exactly an artist. But still, the blue hair the figure had would've helped to point out that it was her, and she did try to add detail by putting in her left shoulder pad. "What do you think?"
Why was she trying this? Curiosity she supposed. And who knows? Maybe she would be able to communicate this way.

Once they all saw this, most seemed puzzled. eventually they noticed the hair on top- one of them poked the picture, then swiped at her hair seconds later. Yep, they got what she was trying to do.
with a shriek, one grabbed her pen. mimicking what she had done, it made a few scribbles- but closer examination made what looked like a T-Rex, just... more warbled. putting the pen down, the young male screamed and roared, trying to imitate the fearsome beast.

Aqua giggled at the sight, watching the little one play and imitate the T-Rex he had drawn. She thought a moment, before she giggled a bit more. Perhaps this would work after all.
She pulled out another sheet of paper, and caught the attention of the little ones. Perhaps she could use this.
On the new piece of paper, she scrawled the stick figure version of herself complete with the hair and created a figure that resembled the creature that the little one drew. She completed the picture by drawing a decently drawn version of Eraqus' keyblade, being held in both hands as if she was going to fight it, and she made sure to try and emphasize the T-Rex's anger, by making it show teeth.
When she was done, she smiled to the little ones, and let them see the drawing done.

They all crowded around, making small snarls and grunts- as expected of most young primates. Eventually they understood- and continued their little charade, with the small male roaring like the dino again. A female stood up to the plate- and breathed a chilly, yet petite breath of snow at the imitator, causing it to fall down and snarl.
They all clamoured at this- it was a common battle strategy, since the reptiles were pathetic against ice based attacks due to their cold blood.

Aqua giggled at the little show. Perhaps she should have thought of that with the beast she thought, it probably would have made things easier. Thinking on this, she decides to go with that, and, on the next page, she draws up a picture of the downed beast, herself, and a fairly rough drawing of their chief. The chief and Aqua appeared to be walking away from the beast together.
Likely, she figured, they knew about the chief having to carry her back to the village, but it was still a good way to end the story she had apparently started telling.
"And that's how I've come to be be here." She said simply as she motioned to herself and then around as if to mean the village around her.

They all saw her drawing- and their bounding became soft, curious steps. Their chief really was powerful- and kind, they thought. of course he would've helped.
As they continued to bicker amongst themselves, a loud trudging alerted the kids to their chief's awakening- and before long, he stepped out of the caves, though he still looked groggy. Immidietly he was greeted by their warm cheers- and he bent down and let them embrace, as was second nature for him.

A giggle was the response to the cutesy scene, as Aqua watched on. Watching the big guy hug all of the young ones like they were his own children was truely a treat. It gave her such insight on the beast's personality. He was such a nice guy it looked like.
"I can see the children love you." She motioned to the little ones then to him. "You must be a dedicated father figure to your clan."

He sort of understood her... sort of. After a few fur tugs on top of the loving embraces, he released his roar once again- though at nothing in particular. And of course, the little one clamoured and tried to copy his actions... dissimilar though the result was.

Aqua only giggled at the cute little scene. "The little ones certainly look up to you. You must be quite the leader." She looked among the number, smiling a little. "This has certainly been a weird trip. I came down here to further explore Dimensional Island... And I end up finding a wonderful community of native animals." She rubbed her chin. "I wonder... If anyone else knows all of you are down here?"

When he looked back down at her, all that exited his mouth was a gruntled, "Grrrrm?" proving the language barrier was in fact thick. Not that it really mattered- he never saw anyone from the outside beside her...
Of course, Aqua wouldn't know that.

.......... After a second, Aqua let out a breath. "I apologize. I forgot that you probably don't understand what I'm saying." As she said this, she looked at her watch, a trinket she had bought upon her arrival on Dimensional Island, she found it was a handy little tool to keep around so she could tell time.
Hmmm... 7:56 P.M... Seemed to her like things were starting to get a little late. "Looking up to the sky, she found what appeared to be an odd glowing crystal, which must have served as this cavern's sun, starting to dim. She was willing to guess the sun was starting to go down out in the skies above the island...........
Hold on...
At that moment, Aqua stood up, taking another look around, with a finger rubbing her chin. "Hmmm... Perhaps I should take my leave and return to the surface, before things get too dark out."

The large chieften watched as she moved a bit, paying attention to her actions. The mass in the sky was starting to dim... which meant nightfall was soon to come. Already, small masses in the jungle were starting to light up- giving a neon glow, not unlike that of the mushrooms in their cavern. The crystal above would take another hour before it would become completely dark, considering it got its energy from the heat of the sun on the surface.
Looking down at his small charge, he grunted. He wanted her to stay, as a nudge with his head on her back (and a whimper) would prove, but knew she had to go. And though he wanted to go with her, he knew the others were incompitent- those other adults were too busy living life like they used to, before the lizards became a threat.
He was more than a chief- he was the only line of defense they had.

Aqua chuckled at the chieftain nudging her and whining a bit. It was obvious he wanted her to stay, and in a way, she wanted to... But...
She patted the Cheiftain on the head. "I'm sorry... But I cannot stay here... This is your world... Not mine." Taking her hand away from the chief, she bowed a little to the chief. "I will never forget the kindness you have shown me... You have my deepest gratitude."
Smiling a little, she nodded to the chief and walked over to the edge of the cliff. She offered the chief one last wave, before she jumped...
When the young ones ran up to look, they found Aqua easily gliding over the jungle with the greatest of ease, heading to some destination unknown to them...

Unkown perhaps, due to their age- but not to him. The thought of going after her had come to mind- but if he did that, there's no way their actual parents would take the responsibility they've lacked so far...
Looking back, he saw those cute, adorable little faces staring back at him, some looking a little hungry.
... just to say goodbye.
He lunged off of the cliffside and grabbed hold of a tree branch once he had fallen far enough down. He was quite far behind her when he landed- but was quickly catching up as time went on.

Aqua meanwhile was flying through the air serenely looking to where she remembered coming in when she realized she was being followed. Looking back, she saw it was none other then the chief of the native animals she had the delightful chance to befriend there, chasing her down quickly...
Huh... She wondered what he wanted...
She stopped in mid-air, just hovering there as the chief quickly caught up with her, and flew down to a nearby tree where it would be easier to reach him.
"Is something wrong?" She hoped her tone would sound questioning enough, but she willfully tilted her head to make herself seem more curious. At least, she hoped that was the impression she was giving.
