DCstuck Discussion thread

This is where those involved, or those who want to get involved in DCstuck, will discuss ideas and things about the story.

Right now, Docero had brought up a good point about a First Guardian for our story, but we can't really make a FG until we know where this story is going! SO! Ideas as to what should happen in our session, The Trolls' session, what they're doing to help, who goes evil, ect.

I'd like to throw out the idea of out Session being a failed session, but the Troll's who created our world being a successful session. But they do something, possibly more drastic than Karkat's cancerous frog, that doomed us. Also, I really like the idea of my character reaching God Tier, but becoming evil and consumed with power; With a name like "Page of Rage" doesn't seem to go well with "Hero" or "Good".

Any ideas you guys have, toss them out here and we'll all discuss it! I'll add onto this post when we've all agreed on key points. :3

Approved ideas
-Nut is the group Friendleader. It is her.

-As the Maid of Light, when the FG is decided, FF will talk to them.

-Alex is the first kid to God Tier, but it happens after a big argument with FF. After he God Tiers(way of death undecided) he takes in a large amount of Void- in a rage he goes back to FF and ends up killing her. But he comes back to, and realizes his desity(in making all of the kids reach God Tier) and places FF on her quest bed, allowing her to God Tier the same way as Jade.

-I just recently had a dream bubble dream, which was pretty intense. It started with me walking around prospit. Shiny and shit, I was just doing my own thing, filling out miscellaneous tasks on Prospit. However I think I even had a few rungs filled out on the ectoladder.

Anyways I later encountered the big bad (Mine was envisioned, Jacksper Noirlecrow) and got ready to strife, but then

Gantz (In his Derse PJ, but either works) appear, and helped out as we strifed again jacksper. However we weren't any match for him, as we attempted to retreat. I wasn't nearly fast enough. Gantz didn't help me and my dreamself got killed.

In any scenario this is where the real dream bubble dream starts, I was back in my dad's old general store in the back, with all the awesome things including this giantass TV. And as I'm watching TV it's on nickelodeon for some reason, and playing horror movies (I dunno why I was watching Fairly Odd Parents: What Parents?, it's not even real XD). In any case I was talking to NN1, and she was telling me how awesome said movie was and to watch it. However I dont turn around then, tlaking to her some more, confused at lack of enthusiasm anymore.

I turn around, the whole place is trashed and empty, all sealed walls, and only the TV, but now it has like.. the hypnoscreens in Persona that lead to the other side? I start freaking out and then taking my laptop and asking kels what the fuck is going on. At the time, she seemed to be like... I guess GrimDark John telling me not to worry and they're friendly XD

In any case, it ended there, when they were getting realyl close, as I now made up a reason as to why, I would wake up to Tsunami Sirens, XD And the freaking the fuck out.

One of the things that I've been alluding to in the story is the idea that Gantz is basically going to kill us all. Since it would suck for us all to just up and die, it would probably lead to god tiering, but for everyone to die at once would require some kind of major event.

Also, since I'm playing the Light hero for this game, whenever the FG is decided on, it would make sense for me to talk with him to some degree at least, right?

Well in any case I'm trying to do, I'm gonna see if I can get into the session last. I've already prevented using my disks for a LONG time so I dont have to worry about it too much, but I'm mainly doing it since 1. I WANT A TSUNAMI, 2. I'm planning to fall asleep, like for a crapload of time under the belief I'm in the session already prancing around Prospit. I'm probably gonna see if I can play a good enough role to help all the other dudes and dudettes. NN1's gonna have a hell of a time trying to wake me up XD.

In any case I'm thinking that my planet will hold something kinda, mysterious. I haven't exactly made the whole concept, but similiar to Rose I'll have castles and shit even if all theyre actually meant for is to go underground.

The Depths of my Planet is actually a Dark place, but is completely composed of mirrors and rainclouds making it hard to explore obviously. But the more we get into the game, I can hopefully figure out what to stick there.

(also the land above is covered completely by a layer of flooring, that's why only castles can go down, the clouds are very much fluffy though )

This post is made to answer FF's initial post in this thread. I actually have a good preliminary idea on this matter.

(Clears throat)

What causes the mass of deaths is one simple thing... Alex is the first to God-tier. However, this takes place after he has a huge arguement with FF concerning his supposed destiny. While the way he dies has yet to be decided, Alex's subsequent god-tiering causes him to ingest a gigantic amount of void... Do you remember what I said about Alex having a split personality?

This is where that comes in. Void!Alex, if you will, remembers original!Alex's arguement with FF, and kills her after a quick trip through the void (The void is everywhere just as it is nowhere)however, in that one damning moment, the original personality comes back and comes to realize his destiny. He places FF on her quest-bed post mortem, allowing her to god-tier just as Jade did.

I've been rolling with this whole thing and letting you guys all make the desicions because you are better at this than me. XD

So, I ask for your input... what do you think MY role will be? I had Muscae hint at something involving keeping everyone together, but i can change that if anyone else has better ideas.

I honestly think you're the most suitable for this role, even if you think otherwise. Besides Hearts... I dont even know what hearts does, but I think it's supposed kindness or something of the like, healing who knows! XD In any case with Muscae as the guide It'll help greatly in the beginning, but I think after a while you'll have to take shots in the dirt, wing it, see what you can do best, I mean since. Our characters are based off ourselves and our own reactions XD

But in any case, yes. I think you'll be the best friendleader there can possibly be! XD

Alright... I'm not fully certain exactly what my role will be, besides doing the thing with the frogs, being our hero of Space... Are we going to be doing something like Cascade, should our session in fact be doomed?

Another thing... Gantz kills us all and that gets us to God Tier, yes? In that case... I could be Strifing against our Big Bad... and while I don't directly die at Gantz's hands... his Void Depowering ability causes my Space powers to short out at a critical moment... leading to my eventual death by bleeding out. Someone else could bring me to my quest bed beforehand... Just a thought.

I think a good way for us to decide on our big baddie is if the black queen should be taken from her place on the throne. If she does, then how? Because I'm not sure how the time shenanigans are going to work in our session and if they do, then what should SS get his hands on to help him over throw the Queen?

And since we've decided that all of our kids do reach God Tier level, what will happen after that? I think since Jilak is our Hero of Doom, he should probably perceive that our session is doomed, even though the trolls tell us that?

Also, I want to restate my original idea- I wasn't suggesting that I become the Bad guy of the adventure. I was more of suggesting that my characters becomes power hungry and goes on an almost unstoppable rampage. Possibly after their session is confirmed to be doomed. The almost is factoring in everyone else being able to stop her(since everyone will be god tiers) or someone in specific, possibly Toxee(this is still undecided), being able to calm her down.

Ehhhh, I don't have an idea in terms of exiling the queen. 'Sides it doesn't have to be Jack who exiles her all the time, or kills her.

If you need me to, I can aid in the whole 'take down the queen' plan, kinda just being that backdrop informer. Green Rabbits like to chitter chatter their gibberish.

In any case I dont know about that rage for powe hunger. Cause it will need something to tip you off the edge and give you reason to be, well insane XD. Gamzee had his rage against dave, and then the fact there was no sopor to help him recover made it worse, thus. Killer gamzee. He had karkat in the end to hush and pap him later though XD

The Trolls, ehh, not sure entirely. would they even be stuck in the veil in the first place? XD

Also, any opinions in what i should find in my planet? XD

Okay, I had heard from Nigma that people don't necessarily get why it seems Rulett knows Alex from before she enters her own game. Let it be known right now that I actually DID have that part thought out, and it will be posted here for you to judge.

Okay here goes;

The reason Rulett knows my character before hand is because, through a series of reality-based blunders, Aaron actually gets his hands on a Trollian computer. After what you can imagine to be a series of alchemitizing and experimentation, (Which takes a SHIT-LOAD of Grist) he eventually creates a laptop that allows him to look back on the Trolls during their lifetime and game, just as the trolls look into ours.

This can also serve as the means to which we can start the Trollbound section of the storyline, and even as a means for a couple of the heroes to reverse troll the trolls.

Make of this what you may. I am of an open mind, and this sounded like a good idea at the time.

If anything I"m kinda against the idea, as the ones made by the trolls, I don't believe we should be able to interact with the trolls beforehand. The trolls were only able to do that because they literally had a PHYSICAL EXISTING UNIVERSE not too far, so they sent receptions in and out.

Not to mention, No matter what Alternia appeared way before Earth, period.

This would be a different story however, if it was the humans who made the trolls

Agreed with TSI. Both Volans and Muscae have already noted that they won the game and created the humans, so we already have that established. I'm also not quite understanding how he'd get a Trollian computer to begin with, much less know how to use it.

Let it be known that the previously mentioned idea has officially been scrapped. Me and Nigma have already come up with another more canon idea.
