I can't believe how this is getting to me, but it is...
So it's the eleventh hour. my brother accidentally restarted the computer and wanted me to put in my password. i joked around and told him if you can give me something to eat then I will be glad to (which I would have anyway. That outburst was made because I hadn't anything to eat in 3 days). Well, eventually, it led to a ride to McDonalds, the only problem is my cousin Jay was going to take me, which I thought wasn't a bad problem...
I know he wanted to get gas money, so I checked and see what I had. $1.66. Shit. My pops came and saved the day by giving me $20. So I tallied up the list and went on my way!
We go straight to the gas station, which is okay, I know most people can't be trusted, so I gave him the amount of money he asked. He then made it a dollar lower... after I gotten the change, so I just gave him a dollar and payed for the beer he was getting, as well.
We go to the restaurant, I'm trying to get the list done, he quickly jets on to the first window. WTF, I didn't even got all of my siblings' food yet, so at the window, I had her tell me what she got and had her change accordingly. He then told the woman for a cheese burger, and when she acknowledges the amendment, he was getting ready to go, which enraged me, because by my convo, anyone should know that I didn't order yet. What really gets me is that the woman in the truck with her was attempting to get something out of the deal, too, and wanted to leave when she couldn't get shit.
My brother told me that my uncle Emile had a separate order, so I left the truck just to make sure that my unc's meal is right. I came back, both meals were on the ready, and they were arguing about their sandwich. Oh, so you can give a shit about a damn cheeseburger, but not if your own cousin doesn't get shit to eat?!
I was quiet the whole ride home. I was happy that my brother, sister and uncle all got what they asked for, but it left a bitter taste in my mouth to be reminded about my own family's ways... But then again... I must be selfish because I was mad that I didn't get anything to eat, vice however long I haven't eaten... I don't know anymore, but that was how I started my New Year's... Carry on.
