Physical Description
Natalya is the stereotypical sexy Russian minus one thing most men where she lives would point out. Despite all the feminine curves, the gorgeous face, and the drop dead appealing accent, she is an A-Cup in bust size. Now most people would not give a damn about this, but in the world of Saints Row, this does hurt Natalya's appearance because the men there like cleavage. More on that in personality. Either way, Natalya pretty much looks drop dead sexy. Her hair, with length to the back of her neck and bangs cut, is a natural black, but she has dyed it a dark, almost blood, red color. The black comes out. If she is not wearing purple tinted sunglasses, you can see her eyes are actually a sort of rare violet color. Her skin is not extremely pale, but she does not have a tan. She has a black fleur-de-lis tattooed onto her neck as well as a pair of wings fully colored white and detailed onto her back. As for outfit, her attire is meant to be attractive without revealing. She wears a sort of close fitting suit, not bondage material... but not utterly loose either. The suit itself is royal purple and the pants (of the same color) match in tightness and color. Over it she wears a black trenchcoat. Her boots, also black colored, are specially designed to easily hide knives within.
Weapons
She hides knives in her boots to throw at her enemies, primarily using them for that as, up close and personal, she uses a baseball bat with nails sticking out of them for added trauma. Her arsenal usually inclucdes, but is not limited to, duel pistols with explosive bullets, duel SMGs and an assault rifle with armor piercing rounds, a shotgun with incinidary rounds, an RPG capable of blowing up aircraft easily, and a sniper rifle capable of picking off targets on the ground from an estamated five to ten stories. Plus she is powerful on her own, skilled in standard brawling if all else fails.
Abilities/Powers
She doesn't really have anything out of the normal apart from greater strength and endurance. She seems able to survive incidents that would normally kill a man. After all, if you can go through constant attacks from rival gangs, the police, the military, and so forth, you better be one badass motherfucker.
Skills
Nothing to note really.
Personality
For starters, I should probably state that Natalya's not really "evil" in the sense that she's out to kill everyone and destroy everything. She's no major psychopath. That being said, she is evil in the sense that she believes herself and her crew to be higher then others and will do anything to get what she wants. She doesn't intentionally cause trouble for the most part; usually there's another gang that starts shit with her and she retaliates. It's how it's been for the most part after all. However, she is fiercely vengeful and even if she doesn't get payback quickly, she will. She's proven it countless times over, so it'd be best not to fuck with her if you see her. She also has a Berserk Button. As mentioned before, she has no chest. If you mention that to her, be thankful to whatever god you pray to if you can survive it. She is incredibly sensitive about that sort of subject, but she's not gonna burst into tears if she can knock you senseless. That being said, she's also very laid back for the most part. Even during stressful situations, she's able to crack jokes and be a smartass. She's even able to enjoy good parties, though for her they usually involve hookers and drugs. She's pansexual and, for the most part, doesn't give a fuck, though she's no Emeraldi if those who know about her know what I mean. Despite all this badness, however, she does legitimately care about her crew. Hard to believe from a gang leader, but she tries to keep them alive despite the fact they're willing to die for her. This can be atributed to the fact that the Saints did save her and she grew closer to them then anyone else. They're like her family in a sense and, despite the way she can be sometimes, she treats them as such. So if you do decide to befriend her instead of get on her bad side, she can be a very good ally. Just be ready to deal with one of the biggest assholes this side of Stilwater.
History
Before the Saints
Born and raised in Stilwater as was, Natalya was used to the rampant gang activity in the city. She couldn't even mourn when her parents had their lives taken by the Vice Kings. Raised in a shitty orphanage, Natalya learned quickly that a lot of people in Stilwater believed in survival of the fittest and taking what you needed. Even before her destiny came, she was commiting crime by the age of ten, shoplifting from stores easily due to the fact they were not allowed cameras, mostly taking food. She learned how to fight the hard way, self-training herself by picking fights with the strongest kids in the orphanage and managing to overcome them. Naturally she was never adopted, so when she turned eighteen, she was kicked out. She would continue stealing what she needed to survive and got money doing jobs for people, no matter what the job was. However, when she was twenty-two, that was when her life would change forever.
Saints Row
Natalya ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time when members of the three prominant gangs in Stilwater at the time started a war. The Los Carnales, the Vice Kings, and the Westside Rollerz gunned each other down, but when the fighting was done, witnesses would be eliminated. Natalya was nearly gunned down, but was saved by the 3rd Street Saints and their leader at the time, Julius Little. Back then, the Saints were about ridding Stilwater of the other gangs and bringing peace back to the streets. Natalya, now indebted to them, joined the Saints and was asked to help bring Stilwater under Saints control. Because of her experience in all sorts of trades, she was employed against all three of the gangs and would come to grow close to the Saints in the process.
The first to go would be the Los Carnales. Specializing in drugs and arms, they were deep in the Saints territory as was and had been the initial reason for the formation of both the Vice Kings and the 3rd Street Saints. Taking orders from Dexter Jackson, she led a shipment of Saints into a Carnales factory and would also assassinate Hector Lopez, one of the two brothers leading the Carnales. In retaliation, the Carnales would attack the Saints themselves, led by a vengeful Angelo, but would be faught back. Victor Rodriguez, their main enforcer, would be killed in this fight. At the end of it, the Colombians allied to the Carnales would betray Angelo's position to them in order to save their own skins. But though they took over the Carnales hideout, Angelo had nearly escaped the city via plane. Natalya saw to it that the plane, and everyone in it, was reduced to scrap metal. With the Carnales gone, the Saints gained control of most of the southern island and a majority of the Stilwater drug trade, along with the docks and airport of Stilwater.
Next up to go would be the Westside Rollerz. Specializing in automobiles and racing, the group made a lot of their business on dealing in stolen auto parts and seems to be composed of a lot of rich white kids. Taking orders from Lin, a spy who went undercover to learn about the Rollerz, Natalya would steal a truck loaded with cars the Rollerz used for racing and rig them to explode should they get too hot. Then they staged a scenario where Lin would need to rescue the Rollerz chief mechanic, Donnie. He would bring her into the gag and she would meet with the leaders, Joseph Price and his uncle, William Sharp. Sometime in, however, William would find out that Lin was a spy, kidnap both her and Natalya, shoot them in the trunk of a car, and dump it into the water. By a miracle, Natalya survived. Lin was not so fortunate and, as a result, William was hunted down and slaughtered by Natalya, who made sure to make it brutal and painful. Joseph would attempt to run Natalya over with a truck, but much like Angelo's plane, she reduced it to scrap metal. With the Rollerz gone, the Saints gained their territory and control over dealerships.
The last gang would be the Vice Kings. Not only was this important to Natalya, who lost her parents to the Vice Kings, but this was important to Julius, who had been best friends with the leader, Benjamin King. The Vice Kings had been formed in retaliation to the Los Carnales coming into Sunnyvale Gardens, but King would go the wrong way with it and Julius would leave to form the Saints. After that, the Vice Kings serve to guard Benjamin's dynasty, focused in illegal gambling, prostitution, and Kingdom Come Records, a semi-legitimate recording company. The Vice Kings also had political connections with law enforcement and City Hall, making them the most powerful gang in Stilwater. This did not stop Natalya from helping the Saints take control of Prawn Court, formerly controlled by Vice King lieutenant Tanya Winters, and saving Saints spy Aisha's sister when they tried to use her in a prostitution racket. As Aisha was the girlfriend to a big Saints lieutenant, Johnny Gat, he was not happy and, with Natalya, made to ambush Tanya at an abandoned police station. They got ambushed instead by Anthony Green, the King's enforcer, and Johnny took bullets to the leg, but managed to pin Anthony with a knife to his foot, allowing Natalya to escape through a window. Johnny would be tortured by Green, but Natalya would work to save him. While Tanya was... doing things... with one of the higher ups in the Kings, Warren Williams, Natalya hijacked her limo, found Johnny, and took out Green. After this, Williams would commit mutiny and attempt to murder King. Despite their long rivalry, Julius still held respect for him and sent Natalya to save him. King would be saved and Tanya would kill Williams and take control of the Kings. This would mark the downfall of the Kings and Julius knew that, telling King he could either walk away or die. King temporarily allied himself with the Saints to get revenge on Tanya, so he, Natalya, and Johnny went to King's penthouse, slaughtered Tanya and her followers, and took it for the Saints. This gave the Saints full control over the city and King would go on to become an author.
Natalya, after all of this, became Julius' right hand man and got control of the Saints. However, Police Chief Monroe made his move and arrested Julius with all of the other gangs now gone and the wars over. He had the Saints kill Marshall Winslow, saying he would free Julius if they did, but he lied, so they killed Monroe as he went to Winslow's funeral. Julius would be freed, but it turned out that one of the Saints, Troy Bradshaw, had been an undercover cop all along. He had helped the Saints to stop the fighting and make the streets safe himself, but Natalya had come along and now neither were sure if she would stop. Troy convinced Dexter to quit, but Julius decided the only way to get Natalya to quit was to put her out of commission. Natalya was invited by Alderman Richard Hughes to come onto his yacht, where she'd be given a speech. Julius had placed a bomb on the boat, however, and when it exploded, supposedly everyone on it died... including Natalya. Unfortunate for Julius, it was not the end.
Saints Row 2
Despite the fact that she was supposedly blown up, Natalya somehow survived. It would be five years of being in a coma and undergoing extensive plastic surgery, five years of change in both the rulings and geography of Stilwater, before she would wake up in a prison hospital. Being introduced to inmate Carlos Mendoza, a former Saint, the two escaped their prison and came back to the new Stilwater, rebuilt and run by Ultor Corperation after a devestating earthquake. After rescuing Johnny Gat from court proceedings and recuiting Pierce Washington and Shaundi, Natalya decided to rebuild the 3rd Street Saints under her own leadership and vowed to retake the city from the new gangs. The Sons of Samedi, the Brotherhood, and the Ronin. All of them were officially on her shitlist.
The first to go would be the Brotherhood. Carlos and Natalya would meet with Maero, their leader, but when Maero tried to talk them into a 20/80 deal against their odds, they weren't taking it. Thus their war began and Natalya starts by shaking up former Westside Roller now Brotherhood member Donnie and putting poison into Maero's tattoo ink, burning his face in the process. The Brotherhood retaliates by kidnapping Carlos and dragging him on a truck, leaving him in such a state that Natalya had to kill him as mercy. Pissed off now, Natalya kidnapped Maero's girlfriend, Jessica, and had her killed in a monster truck ralley. An accident on the driver's part, cold-hearted murder on the vengeful woman with the Russian accent. Natalya would then interrogate and cripple Maero's tattoo artist, Matt, and finds information on an undercover weapons shipment. Meanwhile, Maero confronts the CEO of Ultor, Dane Vogel, and demands the release of arrested Brotherhood members. While they are released, Natalya intercepts them and ruins them, and when Maero threatens Vogel further, Vogel informs him that he will seize the weapons shipment. Natalya does manage to intercept the shipment herself, however, and launches an assault on the Brotherhood's hideout. At the end of it, Matt is killed, but Maero and Donnie escape. Maero challenges Natalya to a final face-off, but loses and is killed by headshot.
Next was the Sons of Samedi. Shaundi would gather info on them and learn of their drug trades. The Saints began to target various assets in the production of the 'Loa Dust' drug. Their leaders, The General and Mr. Sunshine, ordered their lieutenant, Veteran Child, to kill Shaundi, who was his ex-girlfriend. Despite his success in kidnapping Shaundi, Natalya quickly saves her and kills him for it. The General manages to kidnap Natalya and orders an assault on the Saints, but Natalya is able to escape and the Saints hold off the attack. Through tips from an addict, Natalya uncovers Mr. Sunshine's hiding place and kills him, decapitating him and tossing his head, before leading her gang into a co-ordinated attack on The General's convoy, killing him as he tries to flee.
The last gang, the Ronin, started with the robbery of a Ronin owned casino. Problem was, like the Vice Kings before them, the Ronin had connections with the political heads of Stilwater, Ultor Corp in this case. As a result, it was Ultor's money stolen and Vogel wanted action taken. So the Ronin leader, Shogo Akuji, ordered an attack on Johnny Gat and his girlfriend, Aisha, resulting in her death and Gat's hospitalization. Shogo's father and true Ronin leader, Kazuo Akuji, appears in Stilwater and, after their enforcer Jyunichi is slaughtered by Natalya in her fury, disgraces his son and expressed regret over giving leadership to him. At Aisha's funeral, Shogo attacks Natalya and Johnny. The results of this involve him getting punched through a fucking gravestone by Gat and buried alive by the two in probably one of the worst crimes ever commited by Natalya. After this, Kazuo threatens Natalya's longtime friend and leader of the Triads, Mr. Wong, and thus she goes after him and kills him during a New Year's Celebration after he is defeated in a swordfight.
At the end, the Saints have the city once more. Dane Vogel uses this initiative to state a coup d'état within Ultor, tricking Natalya into assassinating the rest of the board of directors. When Vogel tries to take full control, however, he is intercepted by Natalya and takes a bullet to the face. Thus Ultor is taken under the Saints full control and wiretaps conversations found within reveal to Natalya the truth of what happened to her with Julius. Natalya contacts Dex, who tells her to meet him in the Saints' old hideout, but Julius shows instead. Pissed off, thinking she's right to be so, Natalya assaults him, but the two are chased by remnants of the old followers of Ultor and manage to escape to the Amphitheater, where Natalya shoots Julius in the chest. Julius exclaims that the Saints became what they were fighting against and that he knew Natalya would go further with it. Natalya admits that she wouldn't have quit, that the city was hers, and Julius called her out as a sociopath and said she owed him for saving her that time ago. However, she pulls up the fact he put her in a coma and, unable to debate it, Julius says that makes them even, to which Natalya responds by shooting him in the head and killing him. The Saints would merge with Ultor Corperation and start making money as a media empire.
Saints Row: The Third
After their merging with Ultor, the Saints became the biggest thing in Stilwater. They had their own energy drink, Japanese commercials, a large fanbase, and a movie deal in the work. It all went south, however, when their attempt to rob a bank with newcomer Josh Birk, an actor "researching" his part in the movie, takes a turn for the worst. The tellers pull out military grade weapons and gunfighting breaks out. The Saints and Natalya decide to airlift the fault out of the building, but when Birk sets off the alarm, the Saints get caught and incarcerated by the Stilwater P.D., who is paid off to hold them.
In prison, Gat bemoans what the Saints have become, having sold themselves to the media for cash instead of being "true Gs." At that point, an international crime organization known as the Syndiacte release Natalya and the others only to put them on leader Loren Phillipe's private plane, where Phillipe puts up an unfair business offer; two thirds of their revenue for their lives. Neither Natalya nor Gat accept and break loose. Gat stays behind to drive the plane while Natalya and Shaundi fight their way through the back and prepare to jump out. Gat tells them he'll see them later, but a gunshot rings out, the intercom goes silent, and the plane loses control. Falling objects knock Shaundi and Natalya out of the plane and Natalya catches Shaundi and parachutes down.
With Johnny dead, the two find themselves in Steelport, a Syndicate controlled city, and Natalya decides that the Syndicate is going to be destroyed. Not only would it avenge Gat, but it would allow the Saints to profit from TWO cities as opposed to one. The Syndicate was run by three different gangs. The Morning Stars, run by Phillipe, controlled Steelport's sex-trade and manufactured weapons. They also created superhumans known as Brutes who, while flawed, could still bowl through and flip cars like they were nothing. The Deckers, run by Matt Miller, were hackers in charge of money laundering and managed to destroy the Saints' bank account. The Luchadores, run by Eddie Killbane, were the enforcers of the Syndicate and rulers of Steelport's gambling while taking on a Mexican wrestler apperance.
Calling Pierce into Steelport, Natalya and the Saints seize a Morning Star penthouse for their new HQ, hijack a military bomb, and start taking out Morning Star businesses in an assault that culminates into an attack on Phillipe's headquarters. The Saints free the Brutes' genetic basis and original superhuman, Oleg Kirrlov, and take Phillipe out, choosing to spare the HQ and keep it as a new Saints HQ as well. Killbane decides to take over the Syndicate after this and attacks the Stilwater Hughes Memorial Bridge with RPGs, framing the Saints for it.
Natalya ends up recruiting high-end anti-Syndicate talent. Not only does she get Oleg on her side, but she gets an ex-FBI hacker, Kinzie Kensington, a pimp who speaks with an Auto-Tuned electric voice box due to a tracheotomy, Zimos, and Killbane's vengeful former tag-team partner, Angel De La Muerte. They are also joined by Viola DeWynter, one of Loren's former twin lieutenants, who betrays Killbane after he kills her sister in rage on a failed assassination of Natalya, and she introduces Natalya to Burt Reynolds, the Mayor of Steelport, who joins the Saints as well and makes THEM the gang with political connections. However, a new force comes to oppose Natalya and the Saints. Known as Special Tactics Anti-Gang, a.k.a STAG, they end up quite corrupt, bringing Steelport under martial law and even causing a zombie breakout. Despite this, Natalya continued to fight... and fight... and fight against the odds.
With the proper technology, Natalya enters the Decker's mainframe and defeat Matt's avatar, driving him out of town. At Angel's insistance, Angel kills the other contestants of Murderbrawl XXXI and defeats Killbane and his Luchadores there. As a result, they instigate attacks throughout Steelport and Killbane tries to escape. However, during this, STAG lieutenant Kia holds Shaundi, Reynolds, and Viola at a Steelport memorial rigged to blow in an attempt to frame the Saints. Natalya chooses to let Killbane go, saving her crew and the memorial and killing Kia. The Saints are hailed as heroes, despite being gangsters, and went on to make their movie, Gangstaz In Space.
Other
Her theme song is "Power," performed by Kanye West. Yes, Kanye's a jackass, but it's well-fitting. The song itself shows up in Saints Row: The Third.
Also, despite the fact that Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third allow you to choose between a male or a female, Saints Row (the first) has to be minorly edited due to fact that you could only play a male, a poor design choice that was improved upon in the sequels.
