(Wherein Gabe and Tycho go on a magical adventure to the Abandoned Labs to find an ingredient to a potion. Only Nutties and Kisas allowed.)
It was a decently long trip from the Mall to the Laboratory, one that had it's toll on the older of the two friends. Tycho hadn't thought about any special head-gear to protect his overly sensitive skin from the Sun's violent rays, or anything beyond his sweater to protect him from nature. Tycho noted that they were going BACK to the mall once they finish this quest and buy stuff they need.
He walked at a slow pace, if not only to keep a short distance from Gabe, who had rushed ahead, his face smooshed into the map.
"So, where are we at, Gabe?" Tycho asked, more than ready to get this item and return to town.

Gabe moved the map from arms' length up to really close to his face at rapid intervals. "I THINK we're close..." he assumed, pausing a moment to shiver as they sloshed through the snow. "Fffffffucking christ it's cold."
Not looking where he was going, Gabe smacked right into a solid wall of white, falling over with the map flittering down and landing on his face more gracefully. The impact caused some of the frost to flake off of the dark metal surface of the wall.

Tycho sprinted over to Gabe to see if he was okay. "You alright, man? That wall looks pretty solid." Tycho held a hand out for Gabe to grab then hauled the other onto his feet. He snatched the map up and gave it a once over.
"This looks like the place, let's see if we can find an entrance." Tycho paced along the right side of the wall. "God, this place is completely covered in frost, how on earth are we even supposed to get in here?" He rapped his knuckles on the metal exterior in an attempt to knock some of the frost and snow off, but to no avail. "This almost isn't worth it anymore, Gabe. Were in the middle of nowhere, in a land we don't know, with a crudely drawn map, in the middle of winter." He folded his arms across his chest.

Gabe shook his head rapidly, releasing more flakes of frost from his mop of hair. "Blbhbhbhb... wait, what??" Just as quickly, he leaped up to his feet, giving Tycho an appropriate gape. "You're just giving up? Just like that??"
He threw up his arms in exasperation. "Dude!! Come the fuck ON, what would be the point of this quest if there wasn't some kind of challenge to it?? Jesus, are you NEW?"
He turned to walk the other way and bashed right into another wall. A heavy rumble followed, and a thick panel slid open, leading into deep darkness.

About to reply, the opening door cut Tycho off and he peered inside. "You should use your head more often, Gabe. It seems to have great results when you do."
The hallway into the lab seemed long and very, very dark and also kind of very cold, too. Tycho looked at Gabe then pulled out his cellphone to use as a lantern and stepped into the hallway, tight grip on his shot gun, for safety measures.
"Let's hit this bitch."
