Height (Human): Tall
Height (Bird): 35 cm
Weight (Human): Slim
Weight (Bird): n/a
Gender: Male
Race: Chukar Partridge
Alliance: Hawk Party
Home: St. Pigeonations (lives on campus)
Franchise: Hatoful Boyfriend
Physical Description
In bird form, Iwamine is a Chukar partridge. He often wears a labcoat and tie while in this form.
In human form, he’s a quite tall, rather slim man. He has long brown hair, which he ties back into a ponytail with a purple bow, and purple eyes. He wears a pair of red rimmed glasses, since his eyesight isn’t all that good. He also wears the standard faculty uniform for St. Pigeonations, which consists of a tan sweater vest over a navy dress shirt, navy dress pants, a striped tie and black shoes. He wears a lab coat over all of this.
In both forms, though it’s rather hard to notice, he’s actually much weaker on his right side than his left, as a result of an accident from when he was younger.
Weapons
He is quite fond of using a rather large cleaver when it comes to a fight, but he’s partial to poisoned scalpels as well.
Abilities/Powers
He is capable of switching between bird and human forms whenever he wants. He can also manifest a pair of wings in human form so that he may fly.
Skills
He’s has an uncanny knowledge of bird anatomy, as a result of the many dissections he has done. His knowledge on human anatomy is not quite as good, though, since he hasn’t gotten as much of a chance to examine a human’s insides.
Personality
Iwamine is not a particularly “moral” individual. Though he aligns himself with the Hawk Party, he is only interested in killing humans for his own reasons, and rather enjoys the freedom to experiment that they give him. He loves being able to examine people’s insides, finding out how they work, etc. It gives him a joy that no other things possibly can.
He is not a lying man. In some definition or another, Iwamine is always telling the truth, though it may not be the whole truth. For example, he did not kill Hiyoko Tousaka. However, he was the one responsible for dismembering her. But because no one asked him if he was the one who dismembered her, he did not reveal that fact.
He is an incredibly intelligent bird, and because of this, he rather values intelligence in others. He takes the academic integrity of the students at St. Pigeonations very seriously, to the point of even throwing students who admit to skipping school out of his infirmary.
History
Shuu Iwamine did not always go by that name. Once, he was known as Souma Isa. As Souma Isa, he worked as a scientist together with Ryuuji Kawara, a rather excitable rock dove. They were good friends, despite Ryuuji’s rather excitable nature, and eventually Isa gained a crush on him. It was not to be though, because Ryuuji already had a mate and a chick named Ryouta. One year, Ryuuji decided to go on a vacation to a tropical region to aid his research, only to catch a disease and die. Ryuuji, with his dying breath, asked Isa to grant a wish of Ryouta’s. Isa agreed.
Sometime later, there was an incident. The Human Liberation Front had attacked an orphanage full of war orphan birds, and the two humans sent in to act as negotiators had been shot to death. While the police ran in to try and save as many birds as they could, Ryouta and his human friend, Hiyoko, waited outside. Isa walked up to them and asked Ryouta what his wish was. He wished that humans and birds wouldn’t fight anymore, and then Hiyoko piped up, promising that she would help any way she could. Isa agreed to grant this wish, and left.
Unfortunately for everyone, Isa only saw one way to end the strife between humans and birds: kill all of the humans. He joined up with the anti-human Hawk Party, changed his name to Shuu Iwamine, and began to work in their research facility at St. Pigeonations High, where he worked to develop a more potent version of the H5N1 virus that had killed so many of the humans nearly 200 years ago. They identified a potential host in one of the survivors of the orphanage’s destruction, Nageki Fujishiro, and invited him to the school. This new advanced form of the virus was named the Charon Virus, and Nageki was subjected to many tests to see how potent the virus was. Nageki objected to this and set a fire in the facility, simultaneously killing himself and destroying most of the facility. Research on the Charon virus was halted. After finding Nageki’s dead body, Iwamine harvested his liver and stored it for future use, and then retired to a life as the school nurse.
He continued his research on his own for five years, secretly killing students, dissecting them, and once he was done with them, secretly disposing of them. Eventually the Dove Party caught on and sent two agents to the school, Yuuya Sakazaki, a fantail pigeon, and Leone J.B, a cockatiel. Yuuya became a student and the infirmary assistant, while Leone J.B. took on the name of One and became the school janitor. Meanwhile, Iwamine worked to get Hiyoko and Ryouta to come to the school. Ryouta had the compromised immune system necessary for carrying the Charon Virus. Hiyoko was a more complicated affair, and required setting up Operation Hurtful, which would allow her to come to the school. However, if she died on school grounds, the school and all of the students within would be handed over to the humans after 12 hours. It would be an immediate trigger for another war between birds and humans.
One year after they came to the school, Ryouta’s immune system was finally compromised enough for him to take the cells of the virus. Iwamine inserted the virus into Ryouta’s body, and waited for him to come in contact with Hiyoko. The girl dropped dead mere minutes after meeting with him. Once Ryouta had left the school, Iwamine and Yuuya cut up her body, and then placed the parts into the boxes meant for the handouts that were to be given out to teachers the next day. When the parts were discovered, the school went into full lockdown mode, with a large stone dome rising up over the school so that nobirdie could escape.
Iwamine aided Ryouta in his search for Hiyoko’s killer, as the dove had not yet realized that he was the one responsible for her death. Eventually Sakuya, another fantail and Yuuya’s half-brother, went to confront Iwamine in his infirmary, only to have his true parentage revealed to him by Iwamine. Iwamine attempted to dispose of Sakuya, only for Yuuya to take the blow and die from his wounds. Iwamine escaped from there and made his way to the ruined research facility, where he awaited the other birds. Nanaki, Anghel, and Ryouta came for Iwamine, prompting the partridge to trap Nanaki and Anghel inside a cage and leave them to die by poison gas. He then revealed to Ryouta his full involvement in Hiyoko’s death, sending the rock dove into a state of shock. With the bird unable to object, Iwamine took him off, surgically implanted Nageki’s liver into his body, and brainwashed him so that he would be a willing biological weapon.
Okosan and Sakuya then arrived to free Nanaki and Anghel, and the four birds managed to break Ryouta out of his brainwashing. Just as they prepare to take Iwamine away (and escape, as the time limit is nearly up), Nanaki pulls out a gun and shoots Iwamine several times in his non-crippled side. He demands to know where Nageki’s body is, and reveals himself to be Hitori Uzume, Nageki’s brother, and presumed dead after Nageki’s death. Iwamine reveals that Ryouta has Nageki’s liver, and Nanaki pulls Ryouta away. Somehow (though Iwamine never finds out how) Ryouta manages to talk Nanaki down, and they return. Iwamine leaves together with the rest of the escaping birds, fully aware that he will be arrested and possibly executed once they escape, while Ryouta stays behind, since he knows that he will end up killing any human he comes in contact with.
While awaiting trial for his crimes, a portal just sucks Iwamine up and tosses him out on the Dimensional Island.
Other
The ability to change between bird and human form is more for convenience sake with the RP, since I highly doubt anyone would take a bird telling them that he’d like to cut them open very seriously. He probably won’t be using the bird form very much as a result.
Obviously using the BBL route’s canon here, since that’s the one all of Iwamine’s plot stuff is revealed in. Plus he doesn't die in that route, which is also quite useful.
