(Song for the occasion
It's Scootaloo. Duh.)
Peace... it was Equestria, so naturally the day was peaceful. However, one little filly was out and about. Riding the wind, she felt like she was flying. It was quite sad because, despite how hard she tried, she could not truly make it into the air. The feeling of the air blowing across her mane as she rode her scooter at breakneck speeds through the roads was the closest it felt like she could fly. As her scooter takes off into the air, she feels almost euphoric, a feeling that she found hard to describe. She was sure the only thing that could match it would be when she found that talent that made her special, stopped being such a blank slate. Some could call it a cruel fate, that ponies were judged in talent by a tattoo upon their flank and not in what they were naturally good at.
Yet even now, as she soared the sky, Scootaloo proved that she didn't need a mark to prove her worth when it came to her name sake. The scooter wheels ground hard as they met with earth once again, coming to a break. Having made it to Ponyville, she grinned. Yet her grin fell as, searching through the sky, she could not find that familiar blue zipping figure soaring through the clouds. She sighed. It feels like it's been months since Rainbow Dash disappeared. I thought she'd be found by now, but... I guess not. The orange filly was a huge fan of the daredevil that, when she heard of the blue pegasus' disappearance, she was devastated. Shaking it off, her face took on newfound vigor. It's ok. If Rainbow's still gone, then I gotta be the coolest I can be. That way, it'll feel like she's still here.

Not too far from the filly's location, two screams followed by a 'thud' happened. Michael and Marisa were collapsed in a heap on the ground, Michael on the bottom again.
"Oow... bloody ITS people... 'Least they could've done was warn us about the landing... sheesh. Yukari gave us that much, for heaven's sake..."
Marisa got up, dusting off her robe and adjusting her hat. "Yeah. No kidding, ze. ...So this is Equestria? ...Colorful... I kinda like it." She looked around. "Well, you're the fanboy here, so where are we, Mike?"
Mike stood up, dusting his jeans off. "Hm... looks like we're just outside of the town proper." Calm though he was on the outside, he was geeking out like crazy on the inside, thinking thoughts like, 'Ohmygodohmygodohmygoooood! I'm in a place people would kill to be in. I wonder how much fanon is actually true and what isn't... and I wonder who's in town?'

Scootaloo looked about in the town, checking out the different locations for signs of Rainbow's friends as well. She figured that if she could find them, she might get a clue on where Rainbow was. However, she couldn't even locate them. Sometime after a group of evil creatures attacked Equestria, they had all disappeared. Even Sweetie Belle was missing. Apple Bloom, while around, was kept in the barn by a worried Granny Smith. She couldn't remember the last time she felt so alone. And worse yet... without Rainbow Dash, she couldn't make it back to their sky house. As a Pegasus, she could stand on clouds, but without flight, it made it really hard to get home. Rainbow Dash gave her a place to stay, but she had been spending time alone in the clubhouse due to the lack of transportation available to her.
Ponyville seems so empty right now. Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Twilight... I'd even kill to see Pinkie Pie right now. She sighed, her investigation done. She decided to look about out of town. That was when she ran across the two newcomers. Bringing her scooter to a halt, she found herself observing them. Judging by what she remembered from what the Princess had told those of Equestria in the aftermath of the attack, one was a man and the other was a woman. The man looked like he was dressed simply, which was fine with the orange-colored filly, but the woman was dressed in such an over-extravagant fashion that Scootaloo had to wonder if Rarity designed her clothes. Quiet was going to get her nowhere, so she decided to speak. "What are you two doing?"

The two turned towards the little filly. "Hm?"
Michael's eyes widened slightly, and he smiled a little; he had to fight to keep himself from doing a repeat of what he did when he first met Rainbow.
Marisa chimed in, "We're scouting the area... making sure nothing bad's happening."
Michael could hear a faint song on the wind.
"You're Scootaloo, right?" He knew fully well who the orange filly was, but there were appearances to keep up, after all. Didn't want to be seen as an interdimensional stalker.
Marisa had gotten her broom out and was lounging on it as it hovered in the air. "Got any info that could help us, da ze?"

Scootaloo cocked her heard. At the woman's answer, she seemed a lot more relaxed. From what she said, it appeared they were good people. That was nice to hear. However, then there was the man who knew her name. Sure, he was asking if that was it, but that begged the question...
"Well yeah, that's me, but... how did you even know that name?" She needed to figure that out. It meant that he had obviously meant somebody who knew of her. In her childish mind, she thought it could even be Rainbow Dash, which would've made everything better immediately. "Help you with what?" she asked, replying to the woman.

Marisa hung upside-down from her broom, looking right into Scootaloo's eyes (Her dress, for some reason, didn't move at all, staying how it was when she was right-ways up.). "Well, if there's been anything strange happening lately. Any bad guys or anything that Michael and I need to beat the stuffing out of!" *She spun around on her broomstick, laughing her tomboyish laugh*
Michael shook his head slightly, giving a smile. "As for how I knew... I'll just say that I know a certain somepony who'd be very happy to hear from you." He gave another smile, grinning, almost.

Scootaloo blinked at the woman. She was unable to comprehend why the dress or the hair did not fall. Sure, ponies didn't often wear clothes and Scootaloo herself would sooner die then be caught wearing something as frilly as what the woman was wearing, but even she knew that if you were upside down, at least your mane would swing downward towards the ground. Not only did her hair stay the same, but her hat did as well. In response to her, though, Scootaloo's mind revisited the attack from Twilight's Hammer. "Are you from that Azy-roth place too?" she asked. Naturally Marisa would know nothing about it. If Mike did, he'd still honestly not be from it. "Anyways, the bad guys are all gone. The nice lady who got rid of them is now living outside of Ponyville."
Scootaloo blinked lightly, losing herself in her thoughts for a while. However, when Michael answered her question, she blinked and looked at him. Special somepony? What is he even...? Her eyes widened. That grin stated that he meant someone special to her and the only pony that special to her was... "Wait a minute, you know Rainbow Dash?! Where is she?! What happened to her?! Where did she go?! Is she coming back?!" The orange filly had a million questions she wanted to ask, yet wanted them answered quickly, so she was spouting them out like a machine gun.

The name caught Mike's attention. "Azy-roth...? Azeroth...? Huh... no. Neither of us are from there... I might have to have a chat with this woman; you said she's outside of town?" He did recognize the name, though he had never played those games. "Anyway... eeyup." Thanks to his audiomancy power, he was able to clearly understand each and every one of the excited filly's questions. "In order... yes, I do know her, she is currently residing at my and Marisa's home, we believe she was pulled through a transdimensional vortex, and as for that last one, she and the others will return eventually; we and some friends are currently training them."
He glanced over at Marisa.
She nodded. "Tellya what, Scoots; after Mike and I've talked to this lady and gotten some information, you're welcome to come back with us to our home where Dashie is."
Marisa picked Scootaloo's scooter up and Michael picked the filly up into his arms, careful to hold her so she wouldn't be in danger of falling. Mike said, "Can you direct us to where this other woman lives?" He began floating in the air, as well.

Scootaloo nods the minute he got the name down, but when he said they weren't from there, she just sort of cocked her head again. That meant that, wherever they were from, they had to be some kind of superheroes on their own accord then. That thought, to her, was pretty cool. However, the minute she got her answers, she was more then pleased. Not only was Rainbow ok, but so were the others, it sounded like. What's a trans-dimensional vortex? Whatever it is, it's probably what was taking away all the other ponies... Maybe that woman or the author unicorn will know. Ah well.
However, Scootaloo was taken off guard by both the woman's words and the man's actions. For one thing, her words made Scootaloo excited. Go back to Rainbow Dash? Of course she wanted to! Then she and her scooter were picked up. Now she didn't know Michael much and she was, like Rainbow Dash, mostly adverse to such contact... unless it came from Rainbow herself. But before she could protect, she noticed him flying just like the woman. She knew it was weird they could fly without wings, but then again, after the cultist attack, she couldn't be too phased as odd things. So, since apparently they knew she couldn't fly and wanted to take her with, she pointed in the right direction. "There. Around the forest."

The two humans continued to fly, heading down towards where the little filly pointed out. They flew past a cloud where a beige Pegasus had been napping, startling him awake as they dashed past. Arpeggio shook his head slightly. "...What in Equestria was that?" Eventually, he decided to ignore it and go back to sleep.
When they saw a house, they touched down outside it, Michael set Scootaloo down, ruffling the filly's mane with a chuckle. "Is this the place?"
Marisa still sat on her broom, adjusting her hat slightly. "Interesting place, ze..."

The house looked simple enough, yet there were spots that indicated future expansion was to be made. It wasn't going to be huge, but it was going to be bigger then what it was right now. For what it was right now, it looked like it might've had three rooms inside of it. Scootaloo felt Michael set her down and ruffle her mane, groaning lightly. "Yeah, this is the place. You can tell by that weird thing on the roof." On the roof appeared to be what looked like a cross, a nice throwback to the symbols of the old beliefs. It gave the house a more religious look, befitting the denizen within. Yet right next to the door of the house also appeared to be two miniature statues of a powerful elf. Anyone knowledgeable in Warcraft lore would identify the elf as the goddess of the Night Elves, Elune.
Light, I call to you. In this place, I beseech your wisdom. I feel the powers of darkness within me moving, but I will not give in. Guide me, Light. Give me your strength, that I may use it to protect those in my care. Show me the path to respect and gratitude. Help me to persevere and retain tenacity. Give me the power to keep my compassion strong, that I may do your bidding each and every day I live.
"Seems quiet. She might not be here," Scootaloo said, looking over the place.

"Hm... hold on, I'll check..." Michael closed his eyes, focusing his hearing to the house. After a little while, he opened his eyes slowly. "There's someone in there... I can hear breathing and a heartbeat..."
"Great!" Marisa walked up to the door and knocked on it. Not too hard, mind, but enough so that it'd be heard.

There was a knocking upon the door that interrupted her meditations. Blinking, the Priestess stood up and walked to the door, opening it lightly. The inside of her house looked odd, a purist's nightmare. The decorations inside related to both her belief in the Light and in the Moon Goddess, which meant her decor mixed symbols that both looked monotheistic and pagan in nature.
(Song for the occasion
Why not?)
The minute Emeraldi looked outside her door, she noticed the two humans. Blinking lightly, she noticed she had never taken note of them before during any moment she had stayed in Azeroth. They also didn't seem like they had come to take her away, looking more friendly and even being escorted by one of the local fillies. "Might I... help you?" she asked.

Michael and Marisa both bowed slightly, Michael being the first to speak. "Hello, ma'am."
Marisa said, "Yeah, you can help us out a big deal. Scoots here told us that something had happened here and you helped resolve it. Couldya tell us what happened, ze?"
Michael said, "We should at least introduce ourselves first... I'm Michael... Michael Neilsen. This is Marisa Kirisame." Marisa waved.

Emeraldi blinked as the woman asked her question. Something bad that had happened to the town? Well she was only here for that one incident. "Some kind of portal linked our world, Azeroth, to this place. Our world's sworn enemy, the Twilight's Hammer cult, made their way here. They worship the Old Gods, you see, and seek the destruction of all existence. However, my former companions and I stopped them. I decided to stay behind, though. Just in case."
She nodded lightly. "I'm Emeraldi Shadowheart. Don't mind the last name, it's... complicated. You're free to come in if you like, I was just finishing some prayers and getting ready to cook." She seemed like a friendly sort and, in general, she truthfully was. So long as her preferences didn't show around the other two, there wasn't much to freak out about.
