"Thank you for your hospitality, Ms. Shadowheart... or would you prefer if I called you Emeraldi?" Michael entered the house. "Honestly, I can't blame you for staying to keep an eye on the place. Things have a tendency to get bad quickly." He blinked for a minute. Then he got a worried expression. "...Tell me... you said that there was fighting between the town and the cult, right...?"
Marisa cocked her head slightly. "Mike, what's on yer mind, ze?"
He thought to himself, 'I hope to all that's good that that doesn't happen...'

(Song for the occasion
Because this song is awesome and fits Emeraldi's story, I believe.)
"Emeraldi is fine," she replied as she looked at the soup she was cooking. All it had in it were vegetables. Meat was hard to come by, after all, when you lived in a village full of vegetarians. "Things seem to be peaceful for the most part. There are minor incidents, but usually the citizens can fix them without my aid. I come in when something truly catastrophic happens, like once when this creature people referred to as an Ursa Major came to Ponyville. It was supposedly looking for its young, so I managed to divert it away from the village." The minute Emeraldi felt the soup was finished, she undid the fire under the pot and began to grab some bowls. "Overall, however, I love it here. It's more more tranquil then Azeroth."
Mike's next question caught Emeraldi off guard. "Well... the town didn't really fight back. The citizens mostly ran and tried to hide. The royal guard from the other city, Canterlot they called it, did come in to help, but sadly they weren't much of a match. My companions and I did most of the fighting and I was aiming to make sure everyone stayed alive. There were plenty of injuries, but... Whether it was a miracle of the Light, Elune, or the deities of this land itself, we did not suffer a single death. Everyone survived and I helped them rebuild and strengthen Ponyville. However, I dearly hope myself that Twilight's Hammer does not make their way here once again. Deathwing must not be allowed to ruin this world as he has ours."
Scootaloo blinked, having already seen all that before, but there were some words that escaped her. Either way, she focused more on the bowl of soup before her. "Wow... that looks good."
Emeraldi also placed two bowls for Mike and Marisa. "Eat to your heart's content. Ahhh, I'm sorry about the lack of meat, you two. One picks up such a diet when they exist in a village like this."

Marisa took the bowl and smiled. "Ah, 's no big deal. In Gensokyo, meat was the occasional thing; it was usually grains and veggies, ze. Itadakimasu!" She began eating the soup.
Michael took a few bites as well, chuckling. "We haven't had much chance for a meat dish, anyway, lately; we've got so many ponies at our home." His chuckling stopped as he thought about what had happened with Fluttershy. He was glad, at the least, that Gilda and the Wingless Rainbow had become friends again... now hopefully the winged one could follow suit. Soarin' seemed a little depressed, too, but, Mike thought, was doing a pretty good job of hiding it from the others; he figured that Satori and Alice were the only other ones who could tell.
He resumed eating his soup.

Scootaloo looked at Mike. "Hey... you said you knew Rainbow Dash, right? Does that mean that she lives with you right now?" she asked. It was an innocent question and even Emeraldi, with her "fucked-up-under-normal-human-standards" mentality, knew it to be such. "You said you were gonna take me to see her again."
"True... they say that the 'Elements of Harmony' disappeared. Do you intend to tell them about the cultist attacks?" Emeraldi asked. "I do worry though. If our world's horrors can leak into this world, then the horrors of any of the multitude of worlds might try the same."

Michael nodded. "Part of the reason Marisa and I came here was to get information on anything that had happened between their arrival and now. It isn't just Rainbow, either. She, Pinkie..." He thought about Fluttershy again and trailed off slightly. "...As well as one of the Wonderbolts are all there. Spike is, too... wait, how many of the Element-bearers have vanished?"
Marisa stopped eating, watching intently. A not-oft-seen look of seriousness was on the witch's face. "They know of the dangers from other worlds. Mike and a few others ran headlong into one..." She closed her eyes. She still felt bad that she and Alice weren't there to help.

"How concerning," Emeraldi said in response to Marisa's statement. Eating some of her own bowl silently, she placed the spoon down and nodded. "I shall have to be on the lookout for these dangers then. As to how many have disappeared... it's said all six are missing. The princess herself is out overseeing Equestria even as she rules to make sure everything is ok. However, she did make it clear. With the disappearances of three of them, she sent the others to go scout ahead, to see if they could find the others. I do hope they don't end up in Azeroth though. It's rough, especially if they end up somewhere like Silithus or the Plaguelands." She blinked, then shook her head. "Sorry if I'm confusing you though. You said most of them were safe with you, so odds are they all will be."

Michael nodded, finishing the last of his soup. "We'll be sure to keep an eye out for them. I have friends around Dimensional Island as well, so I'll ask them to keep their eyes open, too."
Marisa stood up. "Thanks for havin' us, Emmy. We'll keep in touch. Stuff starts headin' south here, we'll come to help." She turned to the orange filly. "Alright, Scoots; you wanna ride back with me on the boomstick (As she often called her broom because of her common use of launching danmaku through it) or with Mike carrying ya?"

Scoots looked between Mike and the broomstick, then nodded. "I want to ride on the broomstick," she replied. She had no idea that Marisa was considered crazy on her broomstick, unless the Marisa before her was a lot more conservative on her speed. After all, if it wasn't flashy or cool, it wasn't magic. So went the Kirisame motto.
"Well I do thank you for being considerate towards the land. I think I can handle most of the defenses on my own, but I will definitely aim to call for aid if I cannot," Emeraldi replied as she nodded. "It was nice having company. Come again anytime you like."

Marisa gave her cheeky, tomboyish grin. "'Atta girl. Alright." She waved to Emeraldi, then went outside, sitting on the broomstick. Michael followed, saying "We'll head to our exit point so we can return to the Island." He took off flying towards there.
Marisa gave Scootaloo a chance to get up onto the broomstick, then gripped the top and said, "Hold on tight, kiddo! I may not be as fast as Skittles but I can get dang close!" She activated a Spellcard. "Magic Sign: Stardust Reverie!" She then blasted off at high speed towards the return portal, star danmaku trailing behind her broomstick.
As the two flew by, the same Pegasus napping on the cloud earlier stirred and rose his head... only to get smacked in the face by a large star bullet. He shook his head slightly... then collapsed backwards onto the cloud again, knocked out.
