Full Name: Chen Yakumo.
Nickname(s): CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN~!
Age: Unknown; youngish for a youkai.
Height: Unknown; small in stature, around Flandre's size.
Weight: Unknown; pretty lithe.
Gender: Female.
Race: Bakeneko, Nekomata, whatever it is that the Japanese would consider faithful to canon... but does it even matter? There's not much material to work with anyway.
Alliance: Lawful Neutral; faithful to Ran Yakumo.
Home: The Yakumo Manor, Gensokyo.
Franchise: The Touhou Project.
Physical Description
Chen looks like a young girl of small stature. She has short brown hair that's hidden under a green mob cap and dark brown eyes. Due to her feline nature, she has two black cat ears, the left one containing a single gold earring, and two black cat tails that she can swirl about and curl into various shapes. Without going into majorly intimate details about her body, she does have the stature of a child, which causes her to be viewed as jailbait despite the fact she'd be chronologically legal under human years. She wears a red dress with a white bow on the collar. The dress also has light pink sleeves with gold trimming and light pink frills at the bottom. She wears white socks along with simple sandels and her fingernails are painted hot pink.
Weapons
Like any other Touhou character, Chen fights with danmaku.
Abilities/Powers
As a nekomata, Chen supposedly has powers involving necromancy and shamanism, but never seems to show any of these traits within her danmaku prowess. Her powers are enhanced by Ran's presence, but again, she never seems to use necromancy or shamanism. As a result, it's fair to assume she either cannot utilize her powers or is forbidden from doing so. The only other known feline creature in Gensokyo, Rin Kaenbyou, is more necromantic and shamanistic then Chen, despite being a kasha,
Skills
Chen is good at chores. Being the servent of a servent, she does a lot of work and, as a result, generally does not get to play much.
Personality
Chen is childlike in mentality, but mostly submissive. Being the servent of a servent, she does not question orders from her mistress and this submissiveness sometimes causes her to be easily manipulated, making it a fatal flaw whenever she's dealing with someone stronger then her. She does idolize her mistress, however, and if Ran tells her to do something, she will get it done whether she has to go through Heaven of Hell to get it done. She is blissfully ignorant of Ran's gushing over her and is thusly unpertubed by it. Chen despises water, being a cat, but also because it saps away her power. She is easily distracted by catnip as well and it can be used to subdue her.
History
There is not much known about Chen. She appeared once in the village of Mayohiga, guarding it from looters, but was defeated by either Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, or Sakuya Izayoi. After that, she appeared in the afterlife to defend her mistress, Ran Yakumo, but again was defeated by one of the three "herorines." She has not appeared much after that. No information was really given about how she came to become Ran's servent and, as a result, she is one of the more mysterious denizens of Gensokyo despite being the cute, cuddly servent of a kitsune who supposedly loves to strip.
