Unexpectedly, Dark Pit was risen off of the ground through levitation, Aiman eyeing him. "Alright, black bird," she teased, eyeing the dirtied black wings on his back. "Keep quiet. I believe Ralsis wouldn't approve of my action... but you did make an interesting argument." Unoticed by Dark Pit, a small device was snuck onto his person. What it was, however, was left up to the imagination.

Black bird. That was a new one.
The device went completely unnoticed, though. "Yeah, sure, whatever," he said gruffly. "Now if you don't mind, I'd like to get out of this room."

Aiman opened the door and told him to follow with her fingers. "Be careful, we got a crazy little kid running through here," she warned, leading him down the hallway. "The little snot's clever, too. I wouldn't be surprised if-"
She stopped, checking her surroundings. Grinning, she made the motion with her hands again. "This way," she smiled, walking down a hallway.

Someone else is here other than you and Ralsis?
Said bastard had told him that they were miles above the island--how anyone could get up here he didn't know. Teleportation or flight, maybe.
The thought of flight made him think about what remained of his wings. Ralsis had made sure to target them during their fight, when the asshole was trying to kidnap him.
Even if his wings didn't work (Dammit, Pandora), his pride had been completely wounded as a result.
As much as he wanted to beat the snot out of Ralsis, though, escaping was first priority. Then, getting back to Skyworld (he could already see Pit's reaction to his current state). Then, medical attention.
With that in mind, he followed.

The search, as it turned out, quickly became a wild goose chase. Before long, Aiman was noticeably losing track of her own location, even biting her teeth a little. "I could've sworn it was on this floor," she hissed, still looking around.
Almost without warning, a light pitter-pat of footsteps rang in the air, Aiman tensing up. "Shh," she hissed, carefully examining the halls. "It's that little brat again- I knew she'd find me again before long..." Unbeknowest to an alert Aiman, Mary was already next to Dark pit, putting a finger next to her lips while tugging at his cloak.
In the next second, a flash of violet energy rang, Aiman staring down the hall it came from. "I found you, ya little Frankenstein reject!" she yelled, chasing what she thought was Mary, the real deal holding back her laughter with her large hands.
"She's reeeaaally bad about dropping grudges," Mary told him, her little feet anxiously moving. "No time to waste- I know how to get out of here! Come on!" In a flurry, the grey girl darted down the hallway opposite of the one she tricked Aiman into. Once they had darted into a room with a stairway, she calmed down, taking deep breathes.
"Whew," she sighed, wiping sweat from her stitched brow. "If she's as gullible as earlier, she's already stuck in one of my traps again," she giggled, heading up the stairway. "I'm actually surprised she doesn't trip just short of them- she seems... kinda big."

Well, this was new.
At least they managed to lose Aiman. That was a plus.
Okay, now it was time for questioning?
"Who are you and why should I trust you?" he demanded. "Are you another prisoner here?"

"Um, Mary," she stuttered out. "and I'm not a prisoner, I think... I just got here about an hour ago. Through an-" She paused for a moment. "...a portal. I came through a portal." Though she was the one who went and tried rescuing the guy, she hadn't thought any detail out yet. Just because you generate a blinding flash to elude someone doesn't mean you're scott free.
On the subject of being scott-free- Back downstairs, Aiman was frozen stiff. No, not from a trap- she had actually managed to avoid this one, pausing just short of her possible fate. "...clever little..." she mumbled under her breath. To keep it back, she spread a spell of her own, one that fizzled the electricity.
"Well great," she thought. "I let that little moron give me the slip again..."

"You used a portal? Where is it?"
Any chance to escape from this place faster was a bonus in Dark Pit's book. As Mary answered the question, he opened a door to another hallway.
Ralsis was standing right there, blinking in surprise.
Neither of them said a thing, then Ralsis opened his mouth, only for Pittoo to slam the door shut and shove a crowbar into the lock, jamming it.
"Okay, now we run," he said casually, grabbing Mary by the arm and taking off.
As much as it hurt his pride to admit it, it would've been suicidal to take on Ralsis, even if he wasn't injured. Best bet was to run until they found the way out. Which reminded him...
"Mind telling me where this portal is?" he asked as he ran.
Ralsis just stared at the door for a moment, then sighed and reached for the keypad. "Honestly, some people are so rude--"
"I'm sorry, this door is out of order. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you would like to speak with a custodian--"
"For heaven's sake..."

A litle startled and very upset from the sudden touch and go, Mary scratched her cheek a pinch before answering, chuckling a little. "Well, let's see... it kinda... vanished."

"Why am I not surprised."
He figured it wouldn't be that easy.
"Okay, that means our only options is either an escape pod, a teleporter that Ralsis HASN'T reprogrammed yet, or jumping off the lab, and I don't fancy burning up in the island's atmosphere."
There was a loud crash as the door flew past them and embedded itself in the wall. Ralsis stepped into the room and raised his eyebrow at them.
"For the love of--KEEP RUNNING!" Dark Pit yelled, grabbing Mary and practically dragging her behind a corner as an energy lance narrowly missed them.

Her stitched together heart nearly skipped a beat or six when the lance struck the wall. "I just got away from him, too," she pouted, annoyed. Wriggling out of Dark Pit's grip, she popped onto the floor, her fingers laced with energy. Smiling, she slapped the corner of the room. "FlyTrap!"
An electrified box appeared where an empty joint once was- a powerful box able to electricute most anything.
And then it was smashed to pieces. The one behind it blowing smoke off her fingers. "Well, who'd have figured you two would've made it this far," Aiman laughed to herself. As it turned out, she was in the same hall Dark Pit had chosen for them.
"Um... are we between a rock and a hard place?" Mary asked, noting the two powerful magicians approaching.

Does the universe hate my guts or something?! Dark Pit thought angrily. He couldn't see any way out of this situation, with Aiman and Ralsis on either side of them.
Think, Dark Pit, THINK. How are you going to fix this?!
"Where in the world have you been, Aiman?" Ralsis asked in the tone of one asking about the weather, "I would've appreciated your help a few minutes ago. I don't suppose you have ANY idea how Pit managed to get out of his cell?"
Something about his tone seemed to imply that he had a vague idea of how that went down.
"HEY LOOK, CRYSTAL ROOM LIMITED!" Dark Pit suddenly screamed, pointing at something behind Ralsis.
"WHAT?!" Ralsis yelled in horror his heart nearly stopping in terror at the thought of an agent sneaking onboard without him knowing as he spun around to see...nothing?
A loud smack and an 'ack' caused him to turn and see Aiman sprawled on the floor as Dark Pit and Mary turned another corner out of sight.
"...oh, that was low," he muttered darkly.
(your pick on how they got past her. XD)

Aiman's smile was too nonchalant to be forced. "Oh, you know those hero types- things always go in their favor without them even noticing," she laughed, rubbing her nose.
Not long after that, Ralsis was caught off guard by Dark Pit's call, and Aiman was caught off guard by Mary pointing up- insighting a magnetic force- and pinning her to the ceiling. "Bale time!" Mary said, hustling behind Dark Pit. Just as she left sight, Aiman landed on the ground with a "wud", her brown hair everywhere.
She blew it out of her face as she got up. "Little brats," she groaned, annoyed.

Ralsis stormed past Aiman, ignoring her completely. He was TICKED.
"Once I get my hands on that angel he'll wish he never came into being."
"Okay, that was pretty good thinking," Dark Pit admitted.
Mentally, though, he was getting panicky. Where the heck is the exit?!
Turning a corner, he spotted an elevator. "This thing had better be on this floor," he muttered as he slammed his fist on the button.
Luck was smiling upon them apparently, as it opened immediately. "Finally. Come on, we--"
"STOP RIGHT THERE!"
"Dammit!" Dark Pit shoved Mary into the elevator as Ralsis came into view, charging up another lance. DP dove after her as she pressed the button for the doors, closing them as the lance hit the wall next to the elevator.
DP slammed the first button he saw--namely, the one for the lowest level.

Mary was staring side to side in the small metal cage, apparently searching for something. "...I think the teleportation room is close to us, actually," she observed, staring to the left just as the elevator stopped. Once they hopped out, Mary stuck her hand to the elevator for a moment. "Just a second, I've got to buy us a little time." she explained, her fingers tinged with violet sparks.
In an instant, the elevator door closed and the sound of the elevator going upward in a hurry soon followed. "Five minutes," she giggled. "That'll be when the elevator unsticks from the top floor."
